He was speaking about the new ATO's listed on the first page not the old one.

Quote:No worries, don't let them bait you because that is all they are trying to do.Look here I have patient, but it would have been wiser to release it later on beta. and not have it come out first before beast mastery not for nothing. Not my problem it leaked. It just felt maybe to me only I don't know that as a player I was left in dark only with "TMI". All the other release of power-sets seem smoother. Eh it whatever. If I am complaining so be it. I spent time testing staff not beast mastery sorry.

Nice write up Mister D. I don't agree with a lot of the conclusions. I like the sets with no gimmick and would not want to see them changed in any way.

I guess they have not determined what to do.

Just watched Episode 2. Interesting "encounter" with that fire lady. I am kinda beginning to like the Imp. He actually seems the most sane of all the insane people around him LOL.
The dude feeling up his sister was gross but those two Lannister sibs already topped out my gross out meter for the entire series LOL.
Looking forward to the blonde dragon chick's story moving out of the dessert hopefully soon.
Good series. -
Quote:The Japanese do and are going to continue to make the best dolls no doubt but the Americans are going to dominate the consumers just like they do now. Specifically concerning certain "interactions" with the dolls. The American 'dolls' are probably leading the way in what they are doing. But it's the Japanese who are not only a world leader in robotics but they already have cultural leanings towards accepting artificial/inanimate objects as things that humans can acceptably "interact" with.
Let's just say I believe that the cultural shift towards accepting these kinds of things will not only be a young/old thing but a societal thing as far as being more easily accepted in Japan before places like North America or Europe. -
Quote:First, it will be strange to me til I die but the newer generations are increasingly into it so not long.how much longer will it be considered "strange" to be marrying perfectly modeled human-looking artificial beings?
Again for what it's worth the Japanese will probably be doing that first.
Next, the market here for that kind of "interaction" in the US out strips many other nations combined as it's a multi-billion dollar deal all originating out here in San Fernando Valley, California. -

Quote:All I can say is your post was not "lost". That is all.Well, my original post was "lost", but let me just say that the marketing team needs to get its act together. You don't reveal the full details of a loyalty program after it begins, and you definitely don't reveal them only after the program ends. It's stupid and self-defeating.

Quote:People thought of it countered it and now since it is coming next Tuesday are not going backwards to re-counter what has already been countered in the past. Here's the thing, and I'm sort of surprised no one thought of this:
.
In other words, it's over mate, everyone is looking forward to next Tuesday. Hop aboard the train there is plenty of room. -

Quote:LOL, that very well may be true. However, in the case I referred too on HBO in the US it was an American company that made them. Not really a surprise considering the businesses located in the San Fernando Valley and the fact that is the "capital" afterall lol.Not surprisingly the Japanese have been at the forefront of many of these particular "innovations".
One of the dudes on the show "married" his non-human "friend" and openly discussed his "marriage" in detail. It was like I was watching some bad futuristic type movies gone bad. Very disturbing actually. -
Quote:That is nothing. There are companies in the world that make life sized "friendly" companion type dolls that people "interact" with and have been for years.

Quote:I found this part of your post most interesting given some of the less than stellar reasons given about their release and marketing strategies. In particular is the fact that the slots sales spaced a mere few weeks apart has people feeling that hosed feeling they said was an issue with powersets. We all know that is bollocks. Then I find out that staff has apparently been in marketing limbo rather than technical limbo and to celebrate its impending arrival they effectively hose me out of 1600 Paragon Points. (I bought 20 slots when they were on sale at 25% off since "who knows when they'll go on sale again?") So my already-waning interest in staff has now been lowered to near zero and I'm feeling iffy about buying exactly the sale items they want me to buy since anything I buy at a "mere" 25% off might be on sale for 50% off 2 weeks later.
.
In the meantime the stuff that I said they would never put on sale, has never been on sale, and will never go on sale is guess what....not on sale again. A few of those items are personal storage, personal enhancement trays and personal salvage space etc...
Outstanding and still waiting to be proven wrong the one time this year they will actually put that valuable stuff up on sale.
