Right but I don't see that 30 sec buff as OP and apparently neither do the devs.

I play my PB on Freedom all the and do not encounter this PB hate deal you are going on about. Then again I tend to team a lot with channel mates that are vets etc....
Having said that I itrial and TF PUG it quite a bit too and never encounter this hate just general ignorance about Khelds. -

Quote:Brute's don't get it so that is up to debate if they ever do. Many powers get adjusted down when as did Psi Shockwave for Blasters. Still not seeing this evidence of OPness from DP.I didn't agree with them not touching it then, either, but the Devs have consistently made poor decisions when it comes to Regen (both buffs and debuffs), and I don't think they quite get it.
I really love the power, but in its current incarnation it is ridiculously overpowered, and it would remain so on a Brute (even more so, because of the higher max hp there). -

It's bug with MM and some other pets as well. Clear to see when you do the BAF and they take off randomly. Setting them to passive resets them but then they can bug out again from there randomly.
Been there since I22 and the BG patch they made for the troller pet behavior transferred the bug to those pets too.
Who knows if they will ever fix it cause they sure are not going to acknowledge it after the patch. -
I am remaking my BETA scrapper Lunar Knight Staff/WP and very pleased with him. I will also remake my BETA staff/fire Brute farmer. Both are a ton of fun to play. YMMV.

You guys have really gone off the deep end on this one.

Quote:Oh I see gotcha. Most commercials show slightly undercooked pizza - looks better on TV.
I work at a pizza parlor, we've actually had people complain about two things - one the pepperoni doesn't look like it does on TV, meaning it hasn't cripsed yet. Two - that the spacing on the pepperoni looks wrong because (at my work, anyway) the commercials show uncut pizzas, and the cutting moves them around. -
Quote:Nope that is revisionist. People repeatedly said they agreed with you on the performance and not the over the top way you were delivering it.I think I'm being entirely fair. I ended up biting my tongue about Beast Mastery because I was told I was wrong. Funny how that ended up not being the case, right? The playerbase as a whole on the forums can be wrong. And many were. I, and a few others, were right; Beast Mastery was a damn mess.
So, let me ask this. You said a dev directly asked you to test Staff Fighting. What were the criteria you were assigned? Humor me, because I want to do a little match up here.
And it was Open Beta. You were not under an NDA so you should be able to tell me.
In reference to Staff, the instructions were to go to DA and give feedback on the contact arcs and how well the set did vs the baddies there.
While this kind of thing is nothing more than your hubris, you are more than welcomed to it, just stop pointing the finger at the fellow players. -
Quote:With all do respect Reppu I just don't think you are being fair. I for one made a conscious decision to PM the devs directly regarding my thoughts on certain powers. I did this at the suggestion of a buddy of mine on one of the in game chat channels. There are a lot of people on these in game channels and many of them do the same, so I really think you don't have the full view of things based only on the forums.Because it was discovered too late. I didn't get enough hands-on experience with Beast Mastery. Not soon enough. I was sadly busy during the early phases of I22 Beta Testing, and such things were not bothered with.
So, I'm unfortunately partly to blame for Beast Mastery not being detected as soon as it needed to be. And once it reaches the Final Stages... it's just too late.
Staff Fighting had MONTHS. Nobody said ANYTHING. That IS the playerbase failing and only caring about getting the sounds JUST RIGHT.
Forums generally have about 10% of the overall population of the player base of any game. As I recall things in my experience when testing staff we ran it to mid 20's then the devs were making direct contact with people for level bumps and direct feedback.
The Arbiter that bumped my two staff guys to 50 gave me specific instructions on what to test and provide direct feedback etc... which I did. I was not the only one this happened too and many people I know noted the average st power and other concerns mentioned here.
Once again with all do respect I just think you are suffering from a bit of forumitis and need to take a step back and consider a more well rounded perspective. You have to also consider in general forums are a place for people to express that good ole dev love and that also gives a skewed perspective IMHO.
