  2. If the devs are not trying to push for teaming in an MMO why would they make soloing slower to obtaining incarnate stuff?

I think there are pushing teaming in an MMO and I understand it. I do hope that they make a solo path rewarding and not overly grindy like they have for other things in the past. I doubt it though. lol.
  3. You take away the ability to have multiple free earned pets out at once and then offer an overpriced for pay pet shortly there after.

    Really devs? No REALLY?

I won't comment on the intelligence of such a move since it lacks ANY intelligence at all.

Yes, what does this have to do with what I wrote????
  7. New farms are already up and running.
  8. The reality is the way skittles drop and fury works it really only changes the pace at which someone could reach the non altered 775 brute cap. It certainly does not stop anything that people could do before, it just sets a developer determined governor.

I don't see anything wrong with governors set by devs. Its not like they wiped out a playstlye and it certainly changed nothing for most types of farming. Power levelers are only slightly affected.

It certainly is not going to send people into the AE building to play all of those "academy award" winning epic story arcs that is for sure.
  9. In order to get the stuff needed to craft your individual incarnate powers you can just play regular content and rely on shard conversions. That of course takes an insanely long time so going for EM's, AM's and threads via the most time efficient trial(s) is the most time efficient way and that's what most people do.
  10. Real farming builds do not "need" the inspiration buff, it was just nice to have. Its gone and non farming people here have more worry about it than farmers as they have moved on to farming more.

In reference to this or that "getting in the way" of the story tellers etc... That's just extreme egocentric trash. Most people play the game for fun and to smash stuff not to play the devs or anyone else's "story" sorry but that is the fact. Deal with it.

I think you are on to something here my friend.

So, if the climb onto that leaderboard has zero to do with how AE is being used...how did they get there?

You said it yourself, your own arc had nice enemies and story, but only got 16 plays. Now, I am NOT saying your intention was to get into the 'hall of farm', or anything besides making a story for the self satisfaction, but considering how often most of those farms are being played compared to story arcs...again, how can you claim the ratings climb does not hinge on how AE is used?
The developers choice is still there for arcs that are truly outstanding. Most are just ok/good nothing special, nothing that makes more and more people want to play it so the Hall of fame is most likely out for those story arcs because 999 people don't want to play them period.

People that play and rate farm missions have no intention on rating and playing your story mission, so if your sole desire is to best the hall of fame farms you have an uphill climb, but that does not stop any arc from becoming a dev choice.
  13. No worries Panda, you will still hit the 1500 ticket cap on the right maps.

You may be correct here. As I stated before this does nothing to certain segments of the targeted users.

I find this kind of statement interesting. What is the goal of this "casual" story writer? Is it to make a nice group of custom enemies to fight and a solid original story? Or is it that AND to have as many people play it as possible? AND to make it to five star status and move up the "leaderboard" eventually becoming a dev choice or hall of fame?

I doubt the "casual" story writer is hurt in any way since they can still make their stories. The desire for attention and glory hovering just under the surface of these kinds of statements is what the issue tends to really be about.

I made a solid story with great looking customs etc.. about three years ago. I just got a glowing comment on the mission story/customs etc... from someone the other day. I think a grand total of 16 people may have played the mission and left a comment in that time. Its not a reflection on the quality of the mission as all the reviews have been nice to glowingly nice.

If people want to be recognized "that" much then they need to make the same effort that others do to advertise your mission and get it noticed etc... Because of the messed up rating system among other things you will still have an uphill climb, but the climb has nothing to do with how others are using MA. NOTHING.

The devs might want to consider fixing the search system etc.... as it has blown since the day MA was released.
  16. I applaud the devs for adjusting the xp governor to a range that they feel more comfortable with seeing in their game.

I think the inf nerf, ticket nerf and stealth inspiration nerf are garbage and too broad a stroke for the stated reasons it was implemented. It hurts the non targeted users of MA but so have other overreaching changes made in the past.

I might add it changes "nothing" for a certain segment of the targeted users and that is ALWAYS the case when they do this kind of thing...

Yup its there. Not much to my surprise there are already the new models of farms up on AE. The devs are a bit lost when it comes to this sort of thing and remain at least 3-4 steps behind.
  18. Some people have not and will not accept that they are not in control of what other people do or can do. Those people are truly sad individuals, so messed up in their heads that the only way they can have fun is if they can control what fun others are allowed to have if any. Yeah...not much fun for these folks.

Clinical psychologist have names for the multiple mental conditions that cover this type of behavior.

Rest assured this cover of a proposed "fix" is nothing more than the rants of a person/people that have an uncontrollable desire to control others nothing more, nothing less.

    What Not MARTy

Marty is there. A guy was pling on of newbies and it kicked in.

It was strange in a sense that it was not active on any map except that one. It did not kick in again once we stopped using the map it flagged.
  20. I agree with this thought. The additional 20 hour wait "per" transaction is excessive, overbearing and not needed.

Hmm....sounds like some of the other things in the game behind "The gates of no reason".

The garbage about AE farms being the supposed problem. You are right, its supposed. Its not valid nor supported by everyone. It's only a problem to those trying to control what others do.

    This like 10,000 times over.

OP's post is interesting in the sense that "you" can level up how fast you want to level up, up to the dev governor. Leveling too fast for your taste? Turn off xp. Not a big deal and no need for a thread about it since that's "your personal" decision.

The OP worrying about how fast "other" people are leveling makes no sense. OP you have no control over that and never will so no need to worry about that nor make a thread about it since its not your business.
