Because I like colours but am not good with them on paper, I thought I'd give it a digital try with Paint Shop Pro 9. I actually read a "how to" book about the program and have now finally worked out how to use layers. Well the theory that is. Actually doing so is a whole other subject!
I have a few scanned png's on my pc to use for practise.
Here's my first tryout. Very ...VERY.. basic colouring.

I still need to learn more about using layers and the right colours I'm afraid, to get the shading and stuff added to the drawing. Tips and Tricks are always welcome!

Here's my January Art Jam scetch. A quick one of one of my chars, CloudWatcher who had waay too much to eat at the end of the year!

I was thinking about this some today. I had thought about allowing open entries every month through April. With the points system, and no vote eliminations until June, that would give those that had been supporting throughout an advantage with their points. I don't want to go around changing the rules willy nilly either.
Let me know what you think, participants and would-be participants alike. I don't want to change the rules unless most of you think it's a good idea.

I'm not sure on how that will go with the points and stuff...
But the rules should make sure there will be a max of 2 participants left by december, though.

It's been several months now since I got a request from Cuppa_LLX. The idea was to get a kind "face off" with GI Gina and Sapphic Neko.
I'm still not pleased with the result though.
As I'm still very far from even being amateurly skilled with drawing programs (as you can see) I'm mostly depending on my pencilskills...
My opinion, I've done better. But I've done worse too.
I may keep working on it.. or retry as the idea is quite a nice one.
Anyways, Cuppa, I hope you like though

New Years Resolutions!
What (drunk) new years resolution(s) did your char make...or do you thÃnk a CoX char made... or... some char you know made...but the char can't remember he/she's made? And what would it look like if they actually worked on it? Or tried working on it... or...well whatever you come up with!
Anything goes... just keep it clean and clothed (or at least covered for that matter).
I can't wait to see your ideas!

Right! Pencil was picked up... But I lost my muse from the start...so here's my doodle...
I chose two of my own Chars... Darth Delicious and Mysterious Mike, who, btw, are best friends.

Here's the result of my friend's try out on colouring a CoH character.
We chose Rushmore as I still had copies of that drawing lying around;
Just wanna add... she coloured with Dewent colour pencils, but the paper the copy was on was not quite colouring-suitable (too smooth).
And I couldn't find the references for this drawing so had to guess the colours. -
