lol.. BELOW the image... no wonder I missed it :P.
Okay.. working on beard now then.
Edit: Beard done! Former picture updated!
Also erased some of the still outstanding lines outside the cape. -
And here it is! My work for today
.
Worked on Eyes and lips .. or lip *giggles* mostly, though the lips were quite tricky due to pre-shading by CR's pencil work.
And did a little touching up on the face.
I didn't have references... so went with blue eyes, but darkened them with shade.
Wanted to work on the beard aswell, but didn't know what colour it should become...
Who's up next? -
#1 "I swear, I'll never take on a job as a real-life banner again!"
#2 Anathema says to the mushroom: "How are YOU doin'?"
#3 Stone pet tries to save a kitty from the tree: "Here kitty kitty... No! Don't climb further up you stupid cat!"
#4 "KAAAAAAAA......MEEEEEEEE.....HAAAAAA.....MEEEEE.. ....."
--stay tuned for the next episode of...--
#5 Freakshow: "Uhm... can... someone help me up please? I think I've done my back in..."
#6 Vahzilok: "Don't mind me... just hanging around."
And/Or...
The heroine just behind the abomination yells: "FART ALERT!" -
Quote:There indeed is no "Healing Brush" in PSPThe clone stamp tool and me are good friends already (from fixing up vacation photos) but I'm just starting to figure out
what the healing brush can do (not sure there is anything quite like it in GIMP or PSP though). Good info Camille and thanks for sharing it.
.
I've obtained a copy of PS in the mean time... though it has a lot of the same features as PSP it does have a little more, but is displayed... quite differently! That takes a lot of getting used to. -
Quote:That's what DD (and others) have told me in the past, my response has been you don't really know what you are capable of until you try.
The fact that you were able to warp your scales around the musculature in a very believable fashion (rather than just slapping on a texture and calling it a day) tells me you have a good eye for how things should look. That alone will get you far, if you apply yourself.
Yeah, I did! But turns out.. once I gave it a fair shot... I was quite good!
Like CR, I've become better within a few months just practicing, doing freebies and jollying around on the forum. And I still learn every time ^^.
I agree, you did an awesom job at that texturing. You sertainly have an eye for it ^^.
Oh and there is no such way as cheating when it comes to creating art!
It doesn't matter "how" you did it... YOU did it, so that makes it YOUR art.
@PowerStream: You're right! The collab turned out to be lot more than a collab by three! ^^.
Can't that drawing be added to the first post, CR? As that was kind of the hole start of things.
As for the new collab...
I'll have a shot at adding something (don't know what just yet, but I'll get it done today)!.

Quote:It is!! And yes, I have a cusomizing-virus *giggles*. I love personalizing stuffHaha is that a pink Super DD cape on a smiley? Lol looks like you're customizing everything now.
Quote:*seriously people you should see her car... it has custom paint, chrome, emblems... and a pink cape... no really it has a cape*
And as my has the "Superhero" theme... and it's inspired by playing CoX (and Superman).. I'll just post some piccies here. (you can look at it untill the new round starts).
Or consider it a kind of comercial between rounds. *giggles*
So.. here's SuperSAM (Super Suzuki Alto Mustang, or Super Mustuki as CR likes to call it):
With it's customized (by me) Rims:
And with cape:

I was just thinking...
0 is a number too...
So I'll take my chance on Zero... aka 0 -
Again I'm too early to take another guess on a number, but I thought I'd post an update on the remaining possibilities!
remaining numbers:
5, 9, 14, 15, 18, 22, 38, 41, 46, 47, 48, 51, 53, 58, 59, 61, 63, 65, 67, 68, 75, 78, 80, 83, 85, 89, 93, 94, 96, 98
Good luck everyone!

Quote:Thanks Master Henri@DD, that is superb, you're doing it girl
actually, looking at it again, i think because it's so good, i can start being a bit critical. See, the better you get, the more people will crit you... it'sd a good thing.
k, this is only a small crit as i actually really like it, you don't need the lining aaround the nostrils. Yep, we get that petty.
And the feedback is much appreciated!
I'll work on the nostrils
A Tripple Collab is way awesome!
Great job on the scaletexturing Ransim!
And Great job on the tweaking aswell CR ^^.

@ransim: I'm quite curious about how your texture work will look when, like you mentioned, would have more time.
I just finished another colouring... Nothing CoX related, but I thought I'd put it up here anyway, see what you think of it.
(it might be, that he looks very orangy/pinkish on your screen. It looks fine on my 1st screen, but more orangy at my second *chuckles*)
More info will follow if you click on the piccie
-
Thanks all!
@ransim: I know the dragon needed scales... that's why the random attempt to give it some kind of texture *giggles*. Nice try yourself!
@Goblin Queen: you're welcome! -
As Goblin Queen won a contest by guessing the right number in Christopher_Robin's head, he did a great job at drawing her character Storm Dragon and left a little note for the colourists out there.
So I thought I'd give it a shot
A quick colouring, as dragons are still a mystery for me when it comes to art.

Quote:I do tend to actually read this (and other) thread *giggles*
At least DD was paying attention. What you really should do is start a thread put up a few pieces of art.
Now as for a new guess,
Though the options are getting less,
30, I will choose.
Hoping I won't lose.

Quote:lol!Oh dear! Apologies Americatt.
Slandering the name of a great hero. Forgive me.
I recognise the costume now that you mention it. When I first posted, I blended Darth's ID name with my mental concept of the "Title" of the work... and then by assosiation (mentaly... as I am Mental) "Darth delicious" just went straight to "Evil". hehe -
Hi NoMansKitten!
Welcome to the best part of the CoX forum!
I'll look you up on DA as I'm very curious to see your art!
I'm not aloud to take a number yet.. so .. I'll be back in about 2 hours
*waves*
DeeDee -
I'm terrible at riming,
so I won't even try.
Though it could be a good timing
To let a number fly.
Right.. see what I'm getting at? *giggles*
I thought I'd put in my thought aswell
Lucky number 7, once again!
That would be evil, although for me it could be nice.
For then, I'd be winning a price! -
Quote:Thankies, me too!Ooooooh. That's beautiful DD!
This is why I love collabs so much.
Quote:@SenseiBlur: Yeah it's an art trade I did with her...
She did this cool drawing of my Xllusya here even though she had injured her thumb.
(probably while Kung-Fu fighting with grizzly bears or something awesome like that)
I'm actually still not completely done with that one, as I am halfway inking it...
Quote:
P.S. Hey DD do you mind if I add some more to it?
I think I might be able to punch it up a bit.
As long I can learn from it, sure! You have my blessing. It's a collab afterall. Would you like the PSP9 file (not sure if that goes well with PhotoShop though)?
Quote:Yeah tough to miss since my name is totally scrawled, Rock Star style, across her boob.
I guess my style is kinda distinct too n' stuffz.
