That's a bit of an oops indeed! *giggles*

Otherwise, Neko is looking very pleased...and cute..with fluffy ears!
  2. To tell you the truth, Henri.... I actually would love to know all about the 3D rendering, modeling and etc... and if I get a change to do so... I will sure take it! (so.. if you have any useful tutorials or tips lying around , you know where to find me
But sofar... playing around with poses and facial expressions is all I can do. I suppose that's enough to make references
I'll have to paint the clothes and hair on... and make changes to the faces as I go along (can't have all my paintings have the same faces, now can we *giggles*)
See you in about 3 years Henri! Hahahaha.

    You're quite welcome dear!
  3. Cheers Sensei!

Yesterday I made a small start on the Cat People project . As I want to take as little references for poses from the net as possible.. I now have a copy of DAZ Studio 4 aswell and started to try and let Michael and Victoria pose for me *giggles*.
It's quite like playing with dolls... but digitally *laughs*.

Anyway. First two poses have been set... atleast 10 to go!

Don't worry, I won't be making 3d art with 'm... as I have no clue on how to make the clothing work properly...or the hair... or backgrounds/surrounding....though I did finally figure out how to create facial expressions *cheers*. It's rather fun truth be told.
But I will just use 'm as a reference for drawing. Instead of looking at a wooden stickpuppet that will only bend sofar hehee.
    That's the plan.*nods*

    Sorry, no previews this time

    *waves*

    December Art Jam

BWAHAHAH!!! That's funny, Night Hornet! Nice work!
  6. Stay tuned for the next episode of.... Henri goes 3D! *giggles*

    Nice work!
  7. Lol! No idea where that H came from! Sorry about that *giggles*

Yeah, season 4 already! You should find the time. It's way too much fun to miss!
The graphics are getting better, now they have more money to spend on it, but now it appears they tend to make mistakes with the horses *giggles*, but the horsestunts are real. So that makes up for the horseswitchmistakes .

Anyway... Painting of Arthur and Merlin now finished!
*cheers happily and goes to ponder on a suitable possible background*

Oh, don't worry CR, Xllusya is still being worked on aswell!

    December Art Jam

    *goes craaaaaazy*

    I'll see what I can do ma'am!
  9. Thanks Shakiya!

I love the show too! Eventhough the graphics are not what we are used to in films (duh (and actually I really don't mind, but I know many do)... the characters and the scripts more than make up for it! I'm totally addicted!
A little while back I finished Arthur as a practice piece, but I wanted to add Merlin... and maybe.. if I feel adventurous I'll add a selfpainted background (it would be my first) aswell.
But.. wait... "loved"? We're in the middle of season 4. It's not over!

Hehe, I even had to "downdraw" Saira's dress to make it look painted more *giggles*.
Xllusya really is a challenge to colour, with all that lighteffect and her having white colours all around 'n stuff *nods*.
I can't wait to have it finished aswell!

*goes to work on Merlin's jacket*
  10. Even though the preview I'm about to let you have a peek at isn't CoH related (also, it's not finished just yet)... I just wanna say...

I wish I could paint like this when not having a photo for a reference!!

    But this ís good practice

    That said... bedtime for me!
    Sweet dreams!

*giggles* I hope you informed her properly?

    Awesomeness! Thanks Limedolly!!
  13. Indeed I do!
Infact I almost bought that one (which is why I gave it a test drive ) and was playing with the thought of "mustingfying" it IF I would buy it (I won't....we can't agree on the price unfortunately..... it's a long story really, I won't bore you with the details *giggles*) and I went "PaintShopProing" a bit *giggles again*

You'll see that the SC100 is actually a little like a really tiny Mustang!

It really is a TINY car (even way smaller than my current Mustuki!).
Here's the video of the start of the testdrive (I wasn't driving at that time)

    BrandX's Art!

Nice one! And welcome to the collector's club *giggles*
  15. Oooh!

    Thanks all!

I had a great birthday actually. Went for a testdrive in an awesome car!
Suzuki SC100. That was great fun.
Also baked cakes and they turned out to be very delicious!
And soon I will receive my painting of Samwise (my cat) on canvas to hang in the livingroom

It's odd to say something is an intrusion of privacy....when the people who chose that it really wasn't for them *looks confused*
  16. BWAHAHAHH!!!! That smiley alone is giving me the satisfaction of colouring Xllusya.
  17. Cheers Neko!

    As for the next "to-finish-project":
    Another Xllusya update!
As you all remember *coughs* this was the last one:

    And here's the new one!
  18. DarthDelicious

    Lime's Artzy

    That DOES look familiar! *giggles*
  19. Thanks!
But...eh... Neko... stop licking her lips... I keep having to put new lipstick on her!

Anyways... I call it now FINISHED!
Finished the rest of the drawing... went tweaking with the brightness, hue and contrast a little...and finally decided that this was it.
Unfortunately backgrounds are still not for me...so the wooden thingy and the glass is all I could do *giggles*
    Hope you like it.

That is aweme work Flame! I had to blink a couple of times to get the focus right hahhaha. Fun!
    Very awesomely done indeed!

Chris and the magically dissapearing images....

    Lime's Artzy

lol! Barbie indeed comes to mind! *giggles*
    Looking great!
  22. *bounces around happily* "I don't know why..but these chibi's seem to have that effect on me!"

Yet again.... Awesome work on cute chibi goodness!!
    Hahah Xllusya looks... heavenly!
And Artume! She's very popular amongst the artists lately! And she does well in chibi too!

Sooo.. you're (nearly) done huh? *slides in another character reference and looks innocent*
If you feel up for it...(but only then) please turn this char into a chibi?(sorry, she's pink again... *blushes*)

Me too! Though I never tried a challenge like that. I need way more than a day for one drawing!
I often find myself very amazed at what people can do in so little time. I do try to challenge myself to work faster...but somehow.. I always get stuck in detailing and LOADS of smudging... as I loooooovvve smudging. *shrugs* Oh well. I always say.. I'll get there... but it'll take a bit longer
Though slowly....veeerrrrry slowly my drawings are getting finished quicker than before *nods*

Also I like the egyptian style background.

Some of the fingernails could use a bit of love, namely the middle finger and both pinkies I think.
Or is it supposed to be a split in the skirt?
When it's a tail, the skintoned background should be melting in with the actual background.

If it's a split in the skirt, then the legs are off. They appear to go straight up *giggles*.

Awesome work Limedolly! "You're drawing skill increased by 2 points!"

As for feedback, lesson nr. 3: necklines! :P
You may want to keep an eye on the necklines. As a great artist once tought me, just below the chin/jaw line (unless you have the light coming from below) is the darkest shadow of the face/neck area. You have the shadow added in most of the pieces (yay! Well done!) Like on Artume and Layla. You almost had it, but the shadow is under her chin/jaw line is the same shade colour as the darkest one you used on the rest of the drawing. It should... or could... go darker *nods*.
    Like this...

    Keep up the great work!

You're a quick learner! Nice work!
I see you have the hang of blending those colours?
