I thought I'd post my "returning player" questions in this thread since that's what the subject was rather than pollute the forum.
1. Does one get Merit Rewards from Architect missions?
2. Does the Oroborous flashback-dealybob allow one to repeat story arcs more than once per character?
3. What is the customary thing to do with Salvage/Recipes after reaching their storage limit without wanting to craft anything?
4. Is there a way to see and edit all of my old keybinds? I don't mean the ones from the options screen, but more custom ones (for example, I remember having Teleport bound to the mouse somehow)
Pardon my ignorance, I'm from about 10 Issues ago. -

I think bases are a case study where a design didn't mesh well with actual gameplay!
[/ QUOTE ]
That never stopped you from stubbornly sticking to your design and forcing a gameplay change before.
Defense Decrease
Enhancement Diversification
Max Targets per attack
Archvillains
etc.
[/ QUOTE ]
I actually liked those changes.
[/ QUOTE ]
Whether anyone liked it or not is irrelevant. The point is that they made a change to gameplay because gameplay wasn't equalling their design.
They have a history of forcing their design down people's throat despite what the actual gameplay turned out to be. -

If you put 3 Recharges in Siphon Speed, as well as Hasten, you can have Hasten and 3 Siphon Speeds permanently on.
This pretty well mitigates the need to have recharges on any power with a recharge time under a minute. -
Incidently, if you have Stamina and Power Sink fully slotted, you don't need End Red in ANY power except Lightning Field.
You can fill your endurance every 30 seconds. -
I assume all people with Fly will be given wings after this and no other options will exist for wingless flight.
It'd make about as much sense as everyone in the game having Wolverine claws instead of, you know, regular claws. -
It's irrelevant that MoG doesn't provide protection against Psi or Hamidon. Regen is the only set that universally has resistance against all damage types, no other set even comes close.
MoG, one power of Regen, does not. It is best used for other things. Of course, it is best used not at all right now, since it lasts too long. -

And are you sure that's right? I could have sworn before the defense nerfs, combat jumping (hover stealth etc) were at 5%. So after they got nerfed their base defense became 2.5%, not 1.875% defense.
[/ QUOTE ]
It's 1.875 for some archetypes and 2.5 for others. Still, some other values for others. -

They would reverse ED before they gave Blasters MoG.
[/ QUOTE ]
Or even better... They would give us Blasters Moment of Glory...
Then remove Defiance!
[/ QUOTE ]
I'd rather have that anyway. -
MoG would be substantially more useful if it had a shorter duration (and a correspondingly reduced recharge).
I know, it may sound wacky, but the scenarious where MoG would be the most useful thing are actually plentiful. However, those scenarios rarely cover a 3 minute chunk of time.
However, those scenarious rarely use a significant portion of MoG's 3 minute duration. So, you're forced to make a choice where you could us MoG for 30 seconds, but then turn off the rest of your powers for a further 150 seconds.
If MoG only lasted 45 seconds (and had a recharge of about 360), you would see it being used noticably more frequently. -
Ok then, it only remains to find out if 2 20% damage resistance debuffs are on something, does it take 40% more damage or 44%?
-
How exactly do damage resistance debuffs stack?
If you use 5 20% debuffs, will you do 100% more damage? And if so, is that 100% base (unenhanced) or final damage? -
You need to reverse your subtraction on Static Shield and Grounded. Level should be first. By your equation, your end drain resistance goes down as you level, not up.

Call me whatever you want, I am not the one deluding myself. This powerset is going to be adjusted period. without power surge you beat invuln in almost every resist. The only thing invuln is on top is S/L but that is with 3 powers taken as opposed to only one power from elec.
[/ QUOTE ]
You either need to look up the definition of "only" or learn how to count.
Last time I checked, Invuln tractored Electric Armor into the ground as far as defense and self healing were concerned. -
Filling up an otherwise useful guide with pointless banter is a good way for the guide to lose credibility.

Or to put it another way, does a Corruptor kill stuff as fast as a Blaster does?
[/ QUOTE ]
No. Defiance is totally useless, and Scourge is completely awesome, but Corrupters still dish out damage worse than Blasters.
One of the biggest reason is that they lack Blaster melee attacks. Don't let the whole "ranged primary" thing fool you about Blasters; they're ranged attacks are almost all garbage. A Blaster has more total attacks than a Corrupter for this reason as well, meaning it's even less likely to ever not have an attack.
That being said, ever since the game changed around them, Damage is no longer the best status effect you can inflict upon an enemy. This makes Corrupters highly more offensive in nature than Blasters. -

I bet you if the Devs take away Gauntlet but still leave the Gauntlet icon on...no one would be able to tell that it's gone.
[/ QUOTE ]
Wow. That's just woefully untrue. Tanks got a massive increase when they got punchvoke. -
_Castle_ already posted that they will not be fixing the exp drop caused by Chain Induction. It is a known issue, but it will not be fixed, soon or otherwise, as his post indicated.

The only one that seemed to fit ok was scirocco and his shield does NOT stack.
[/ QUOTE ]
What exactly doesn't stack about it? Charged Armor gives resistance. The only Force Field power with resistance is Personal Force Field, which, if you're running, doesn't really need the extra from Charged Armor anyway.
Otherwise you'll have that resistance no matter what else you have. -
Longbow only comes after you if a PPD sees you and then you run away from them enough so that they stop chasing. If you fighter every PPD where you find them, no Longbow will show up except with the Hero.

Anyone as narcissistic as Statesmen needs to have no authority anyway.
"I'm so cool that I'm making my guy a god and outside the realm of the game. Yes I could have just given Electricity Mastery to Tankers and it would have achieved the same thing, but I'm special." -

Mu attacks also have a -recovery [endurance] component as well as an end drain,
[/ QUOTE ]
So do Electric Melee attacks. -
C'mon devs, I just reactivated. Did you have to do something so retarded right away?
-
Does anyone know whether the leadership togges are ranged or melee buffs?

There wasn't any explanation of the changes to defense in I7 here. If this is going to be an I7 guide, you should probably include that.
