My God, has it already been four years since I first got my account?
Wow.
In that time, I have:
- Made twenty-seven teasers, trailers, and other videos related to COH.
- Overcome motion sickness to extend my play time from five minutes to eight hours.
- Written over a dozen short stories, a novel (with one sequel part done and another in the works), and God knows how many character backgrounds for COH.
- Helped bring the word "demorecord" into slightly more public view.
- Partaken in over 250 separate Rikti invasions and STILL will drop almost anything to dash off and lead a team in one.
- Driven 11 hours each way TWICE from Phoenix to San Jose for HeroCons 2008 and 2009.
- Become fodder for Steelclaw's lists, a surreal form of immortality if ever there was one.
- STILL not done every TF and SF in the game, nor played through all its content.
- Wrecked War Witch's attempts at weight loss with my brownies.
- Driven at least one redname to insanity (or at least serious distraction), while becoming partners in crime with a few others.
- Met some truly AMAZING people through the game, and been blessed with their generosity, cheer, support, and sheer FUN.
People do go on and on about how it's the community that makes this game. They're right. I love the game, yes, but thanks to some seriously cool people (first on Triumph, and later on Justice, plus lots of folks on the forums from across all the servers), I still wouldn't trade my time in this game for anything.
Thanks, you guys. I'll see you in-game. Just look for the weird chick with the camera.

Two things have come to mind as I think about this:
1. Devs, do *NOT* have the character die to save us. That would be the ultimate way of minimizing the worth of the PCs.
On the other hand, with the way that the Jenni Adair arc ends, that had IMPACT because now it's my responsibility to carry on a legacy. And that's with a character we barely knew - imagine that with a long-standing canon character...

My money is still on Psyche and Manti. Look at that shot.
States, BAB, Citadel, Posi, and Synapse are either in full-on BRING IT mode or charging into the fray. (Okay, sure, Synapse could very well be prepping to become veng bait, but still...)
Numina sort of looks like she's ready for some smackdown but has that "I'm a ghost and this is still gonna hurt" expression.
And Manti and Psyche... are clinging to each other like, "OMG, this is it, I love you honey, someone cue 'My Heart Will Go On' as we slow-mo die."

So, as most people pointed out BAB is probably the most logical of the group to perish, but it's also because of that that I believe it's the least likely. I mean, think about it. He's the most logical choice, so the most expected. For it to be a plot twist, it'd have to be someone we won't expect at all.
Also, side note, in response to Dark Respite's post, anyone else see the 'I22'?

If you hit the Prezi link, surf around in there til you find the "Who Will Die" campaign pictures... they have the UNEDITED version of that shot of the Phalanx. Take a good look and see if that might change your mind on who buys it!
