3. Ummmmmm... Scrappers, I think. Not big on the melee thing (except on my en/en blaster, she was a total blapper).
I loved pairing sets (or trying builds) that people said would never work. A Mercs/TA MM? Took her all the way to 50, and she is nothing short of hell on wheels. A grav/kin WITHOUT SB, ID *OR* IR? Took her to 50, and the scrappers and tanks of our SG love having her along. And as soon as Rad/Poison Corruptors were allowed... hello, Dissoulution. Great fun.

The one that never ceases to amaze me is the response I get from servers when I say "please" and "thank you". I sometimes wonder if my friends and I are the only ones who do that. No joke - they have stopped what they're doing and just stared at me, then blurted out, "I don't think I've ever had someone say 'please' to me before!"
Or, because John and Chris both go through copious amounts of club soda and iced tea, respectively, I usually warn the servers with, "Hey, just a heads-up, these two drink like fish. If things get really busy, you might want to bring two at a time so you don't have to do that Flight of the Bumblebee thing. Trust me, they won't mind." The servers almost always laugh and thank me for the warning, and it makes things a bit easier for them.
I figure there's enough a**hats in the world, so I try to offset it by making people smile.

I actually did try to get hold of Tom deSanto to ask him, "If you're not going to actually do anything with the movie rights to COH, would you be interested in selling them?"
(No joke - even if I did the whole thing as machinima a la Red vs Blue, I was going to try and get it funded, take a year off work and make a full-length film, voice actors, full score, the whole schmear.)
Unfortunately, no luck.

I interviewed at ArenaNet about three weeks ago, and I brought up the closure of Paragon Studios. My question to the interviewing team was, "How do you know this won't happen to you? I mean, it WAS kind of abrupt, and it doesn't say much about job security."
I can't remember the exact wording, but if I recall correctly, while NCsoft owns the property of Guild Wars (and Guild Wars 2), they do NOT own ArenaNet. So while NCsoft could one day shut down Guild Wars, they can't close the studio - and ArenaNet has the option to buy the game (and presumably all it entails) away from NCsoft should it happen. How they'd raise the funds, I don't know, but I gather they've been in consistent contact with NCsoft about it as an option.
Unlike the case with Paragon, where NCsoft owned both, and shut them both down simultaneously.
(And no, I didn't get the job - I did manage a damn good interview, but they told me at the time I was more than overqualified for the job, and they wished they had a position where I could REALLY use my strengths. Oh, well.)

And the word continues to spread... I've now gotten reviews (and positive reviews, at that!) about "One Last Day" on French, German, Russian, and Hungarian gaming news related sites.
And it's still making people cry. (The video, not the reviews.)
But I missed Hit_Streak promoting my vid on the Coffee Talk today, so I don't know what he said, but I think it was positive.

While my heart belongs to COH, I've also been playing RIFT now for about a year (did a vid for that a while back), and have just recently gotten into LotRO. Both are lovely in their own way, but no demorecord.
