Needless to say, I just sat there for a while letting debuffs wear off.
Funny thing, just a few days ago, I hit my Inner Inspiration power and got slammed with three of the exact same inspirations--three Take a Breathers (medium blues). I remember thinking at the time, "Wow, that was weird luck. Probably won't ever happen again."

Recluse is a technocrat of the highest order - according to him, EVERYTHING can be explained via science/technology EVENTUALLY. And if the Well works on any sort of faith, cutting it off from its source of worship could be seen as a potentially catastrophic event.
So runs my theory anyway.

To borrow an example my husband uses often:
If I make an 8-foot-tall female Fire/Fire blaster named Gimli, I could probably get away with it (archaic Old Norse word "gim," which means "fire" IIRC). If a GM asked, I have every right to point out that it's simply a word from another language.
I make a short, male, bearded Axe tanker in heavy armor and call him Gimli... incoming genericization in 3... 2... 1...

Were I not now heinously busy with a new job, I'd have done it for free.
Anyway...
At the last Pummit, I asked around as to what the deal was with City of Typos. Among the answers I got, depending on who I talked to:
a) before he was bumped up to full-time writer status, part of Viridian's job was typo-QA type stuff. Since then, no one has officially taken over those duties.
b) the importance of typos, when compared to, say, decimals being off in powers calculations, is obviously lower on the totem pole.
c) spelling errors do get addressed, if not necessarily in the order they are perceived.
I wish I could remember which dev openly gave me a disbelieving look when I asked about the need for tech writers in the gaming industry...

The fact that any badge even remotely mentioning him was being changed, even when it made no sense (I still need to confirm if the cape above City Hall now mentioned Hero 1 instead of Statesman...whose cape it damn well is).
