Yes, it's doable - I'm at work, but when I get home, I'll want to take a closer look at this.

I'm at work at the moment, but can answer this relatively fast.
Killing NPCs gets the ragdoll thing (a LOOOONG stretch of code with ENTRAGDOLL). If all you want are the REACTS to the hit (like when you see two Hellions slugging it out and one is constantly rocking back on his heels), go to Scuzzbopper's Codex and search "REACT" or "HIT" (IIRC).
Note: Ragdoll code does NOT always work with PC models. Dunno why, but there it is.
Re: the vomit emote, if you can't find it on Scuzz's website, head into Pocket D and run around til you hear the guy losing his lunch. Then demorecord him.

I don't care who buys NCsoft.
I care about who buys Paragon Studios.
Which I hope one day will be me, once my plan to win the lottery actually comes to fruition.

The ability to get up after a defeat is far more admirable than the ability to never lose.

Quote:Yeah, you need a pretty good rig to really crank it all up.I was able to make out that the Hero 1 poster said, "One Man. One Chance. One Way.", but I don't think that's what you're talking about. Unfortunately, moving my graphics slider any higher than "Performance" renders the game mostly unplayable on my machine
For example, one of the original posters (like "They Came From Zone 7" or something), has half the original dev team's names on it.
The new poster DEATH FROM BOLOGNA has a cast/crew roster with all pig-related names.
And the new poster for ASCENSION... apparently lists me as the director.(No, it's not my poster.)

Quote:Blaring alarms suddenly rang through the base, and were all too soon drowned out by startled and irritated howls of outrage from Positron, Manticore, and Synapse when the automatic sprinkler system was set off.Citadel thinks to himself "I would rather be cleaning up cat poo than monkey poo!"
As Citadel continues to clean he inadvertently pushes a big red button....................

It's even better when you've got your graphics cranked all the way up and you can actually read the text at the BOTTOM of the posters.

Quote:Despite the fact that there's now water spewed all over my desk (and very nearly my work laptop), thank you for the absolute BEST laugh I have had in DAYS.I think the worst thing about the loading screen is that I hear the word SPANG! every time I look at it as I figure that Penny got hit in the face with a frying pan before leaping at Shadowhunter.
Oy... I can see it now... a picture of Positron pulling petals from a daisy in the middle of a Nemesis invasion in Steel Canyon...
"she loves me... she loves me not... she loves me... she loves me not..."
Actually, bugger that - the next loading screen should have Synapse in Pocket D, grinning from ear to ear, with the LeBeaux twins, one on each arm.

I played it on beta and had... rather a lot to say about it. (About one thing in particular, actually, though I liked the rest of the arc just fine! ESPECIALLY moving camera angles in cutscenes! WOO! *dork videographer here, cut me some slack*)
Now that it's live, I want to try it again to see if anything might be different about it.

Someone pointed this out to me and I haven't been able to stop watching it since. It's almost hypnotic.

If I could draw worth a crap, I'd be hideously tempted to do a COH variant of this.

Was trying to find one of my favorite commercials... it's an Oreo commercial where a mother is teaching her son (without words) how to eat an Oreo (take it apart, dip it in milk, etc).
Then the boy signs something really fast, and she replies in sign language, "What do you mean, you want to eat them like Daddy?"
To which he shoves the whole thing right into his mouth.

Quote:HEY!To address this list business once and for all.
I am retired. I agree with all my apparently many and very vocal detractors that I am not funny. I publicly apologize for every attempt at humor I have ever done in the past on these forums as they were quite obviously misdirected and foolhardy.
While I am still playing the game itself, I believe this will be my last post on the forums. It is no longer fun here. I had fully intended not to write a good-bye post as they always strike me as self-serving and attention-grabbing. Unfortunately, it appears I can not even make a serious post that wasn't intended to be funny at all without people telling me "that wasn't funny."
So be it.
Thank you, Memphis Bill, for at least responding to the actual subject of my thread and not turning this into some sort of personal attack.
For those who believe this is a joke of some kind, you will be waiting a very long time for the punchline.
No fair, Steelclaw... if I'm not allowed to retire, you're not, either. We are both here for the duration. How am I supposed to keep my spirits up when going all-out on a vid deadline without some weirdo wonky post of yours?

Glad to see that folks seem enthused!
As I'm not sure how long YouTube will allow my videos to be, rather than going for a full hour (as the original AMV HELL did), we have actually planned not one, not two, but FIVE separate CoVIDEO HELL videos (approximately 15 minutes each), including:- the original CoVIDEO HELL
- CoVIDEO HELL 2.0
- THE SON OF THE RETURN OF CoVIDEO HELL
- BACK IN CoVIDEO HELL
- CoVIDEO HELL: The Musical (yes, you read that right - when this one was first conceived, it was amazingly tempting to do this one first)
- (and probably CoVIDEO HELL: UNRATED, UNCUT, UNBELIEVABLE)
We already have a great deal of material and ideas floating around in our CoVH file, but once 1 & 2 are done, I will most likely accept ideas from those who'd like to participate. Hey, I may even make one a full-on community project ("submit your idea and if it's demorecord-feasible and not too inappropriate, your segment will be added and your name included in the credits").

Since Paragon went ahead and raised the stakes with the upcoming Summer Blockbuster Event (and please God please please please make that movie theatre a permanently accessible place, a la the Giza or even Pocket D), I figured now's as good a time as any to announce a different summer event.
It has been years in the making. (And I do mean years.)
A project that began with six friends and COH players brainstorming over drinks and dinner one night at T.G.I. Friday's. A project whose roots were originally based on an illustrious and infamous experiment in anime. A project big enough that we felt it warranted its own teaser trailer.
Ladies, gentlemen, and others...
CoVIDEO HELL arrives this summer.
Specific release date still TBD - the video is still in production. So summer can mean up to the end of August. But the goal is for (what else?) a Fourth of July release.
