Each server has its own crowd, and I think a lot of players 'test the waters' on multiple servers before choosing a couple that they particularly enjoy.
Does that mean that no other servers allow RPing? No. Does that mean you can't PvP on any server save Freedom? No. It all comes down to your personal taste.
Enjoy wherever you end up.

Here's 2 other oddities/facts:
- You can run through mesh fences (the see through ones) if you have superspeed. Run into the fence, you'll stop. Then continue forward. Voila, you have run through it, and not even been diced into tiny bits.
- When inside an office map, if there are enemies above you (eg a multi-level floor, on a ramp above), you can spot them easy even when they are not in line of sight. Just look upwards, and there will be shadows moving about on the ceiling above you. This only works for enemies on the same floor as you.
Also, Wormhole works around corners, through walls, etc. Quite useful for isolating a boss when you gank all his friends away.

I know. Because WoW is so well-known and so advertised, it creates the illusion that it is so awesome and your ability to customize your character is so great in WoW and CoH is the game that has bland costume pieces and poor content. It's criminal if you ask me! City of Heroes definately deserves more publicity than it actually receives. Hopefully Going Rogue will change the status quo.
Hopefully GR inspires more players to make vids and show off CoH.
