  1. I agree that corruptor sounds more like what you want. I'd personally recommend */dark. It has a good mix of control, debuffs, and utility. It is also one of the most powerful sets in the game.
  2. The biggest gaff I see is slotting one of the hardest hitting powers in the game (Crushing Uppercut) with a non-damaging set. This makes little to no sense:

1 - you're a brute, leave the controlling to the controlling archetypes and do damage!

2 - at 3 combo points the stun becomes a hold anyhow

You're also spending an awful lot of slots on boxing for mediocre bonuses.

I'd put one more slot into each of your builder attacks and throw in an acc/dam, acc/dam/end or something from another set, they do good damage on their own, and kinetic combat isn't enough to max out their damage. Not to mention Kinetic Combat is short on accuracy.
  3. Assuming you slotted defense into your enforcers, your thugs were probably softcapped with /traps. Throw in /traps' plethora of debuffs and it's a powerhouse. It is one of the most overpowered sets in the game, and there's a reason people gravitate to it when trying to build for AVs or +4/x8 play.

I can only speculate on /thermal's end usage, as I've never played the set. Make sure you're slotting the resist powers well, the more your boys resist the less you'll have to heal. After that it's like most sets, slot a reasonable amount of -end in powers, and look to I/Os for the rest.

Be sure to slot defense in enforcers; assuming you take maneuvers and slot the +def uniques, they should be around 30% def to all, which while it isn't softcapped is still nothing to sneeze at.
  4. The IO sets are actually tempting at 400; the regular prices are too rich for my blood for a single character item.

As far as CoF (which seems unlikely) 75% and .52 would bring it in line with most of the PBAoE damage auras.
Some dominator sets have a snipe, some don't. I haven't actually tallied, but I think currently slightly more do than not, so clearly in the interest of balance they should leave it out.
  6. I'm not really into number-crunching in CoH, but I'd be curious to see how Street Justice holds up to the others. I'd think:

IS > RC > SB > CU > IS > RC > SB > SC would be at least competitive.

Put however many damage procs will fit in IS after getting ED damage, achilles proc in SB.
  7. Seems like a viable and fun combination, though you'll probably be spending a lot of time playing whack-a-mole with healthbars.

On Spring Attack, no idea, but I suspect it has a hit roll.
  8. I hope they skip moonbeam, never been a big fan of snipes. Touch of Fear would be a nice touch, making a Dark/Dark the undisputed master of ph34r!

Edit: Ooooohhh, even beter; a reworked (for all archetypes) Cloak of Fear. Such an awesome power thematically and visually, but the massive accuracy penalty and end usage are over the top. 80% accuracy and .5 end has always seemed fair to me.

I view EA as a layered set, not quite as much as WP or Inv, but it's still there. Primarily defense based, yes, but with some built-in resist and regen that can be added to quite effectively. My build when finished will have ~180% regen passively, ~375% when Energize is active.
  10. The only reason to avoid a pairing that causes redraw is if you are a powergamer. If not, just enjoy the ride. To the average player the minor loss of ZOMGDEEPZ! is negligible.

I myself will be recreating my FA/Axe tanker that I've never been able to get past the 20's into a TW/FA brute. Much better fit thematically, can't wait.
  11. Energy Drain is overslotted. I went with 4x LotG myself, but you could cut down to 3 slots and it would still be plenty if you frankenslot.

Consider switching to 3x Numina in Energize, I find the large +regen and +hp bonuses more valuable than spending 5 slots for the 5% recharge with DW. Throw a forth slot for a heal/rech from another set and call it a day.

As somebody mentioned already Touch of Death is very meh for a typed defense character. Consider working towards 4x kinetic combat for the smash/lethal bonus. They can be expensive, but worth it I think. I went that route in my three builder attacks, and am making up for the lack of accuracy with accuracy bonuses in other powers, plus the Kismet accuracy (to-hit) unique.

You definitely should work towards LotG x4 in your defenses, all of the bonuses up to 4 pieces are amazing. Use merits on the global, and place reasonable 'be patient' bids on the rest.

    Spring Attack

I have to agree I'm somewhat unhappy with the animation, but I can accept that there are limitations to the engine. Considering those limitations, it isn't bad.

You need to be 6 slotting your attacks
I disagree. Sometimes there is significant benefit to be gained by six-slotting a power, but often 5 is enough. Sometimes 4 is enough when frankenslotting. It should be evaluated on a case-by-case basis. About the only time I put six slots in a power is when I want a specific proc or set bonus, or just for funsies.

    tier 1 blasts -

I take it for Dark Blast. It's a solid attack, and you have limited options for single target in dark.
  17. Possible answer for OP:

If you took screenshots during character creation, they don't get saved to the game directory, they just go to the windows clipboard.

That has more to do with /traps than anything else. It is one of the most powerful sets in the game when built and used well. You see the same thing on the MM forums sometimes:

Player seeking help: "Guys, having trouble with my <inisert primary here>/<insert non-traps secondary here>, any tips?"
Would-be helper: "I dunno, you're doing something wrong. My <same primary>/traps solos like a madman."

  20. A selling point for both SJ and TW, they both offer some mitigation via knockdown/up, and /fire is known to be on the squishy side without lots of work.
  21. They know it's wanted, the most we can do is give them gentle reminders now and than that we still do want it, and hope for the best. They've done a decent job of implementing things the playerbase wants, it just tends to take longer than we'd like.

    Dear devs,

Awesome Blossom is a plant/nrg force of good, spreading her planty goodness and arresting the bad guys with her stored up sunshine. This makes her happy. She wants to take powers from the energy APP, but knows they will be blue. This makes her sad. Please make Awesome Blossom happy again.
  22. Microsoft Security Essentials + Malwarebytes.

I'd caution against Ad-Aware, as apparently they were purchased earlier this year by a shady company:

I have no problem fighting less powerful enemies with lower rewards as long as it's fun. My favorite group to fight is Freakshow, and they're definitely on the lower half of the totem-pole. They're just fun and wonky, and I love their 13375P34K. Not to mention it's nice having bosses that can be knocked around (which I've always thought was kind of odd with their size).

It sounds like they're well aware of the standard camera controls. Like he said, you can't get a good, large-sized capture that includes your full character. It has long been one of my annoyances with the game, minor though it may be.
