    Quick note: mids says you have 2 extra 6.25% recharge bonuses. Tornado and blizzard are the ones listed as superfluous. Not sure what you would want to change to fix that, but it looks like you might need to swap a couple powers up to purple sets.
  2. I won't claim that this build is great, but I tried to focus on S/L def and recharge bonuses. Lightning field got kinda shafted, but the build seems like a good start for someone with better mids skill than I.

  3. Giving this a bump because I think I may have overslotted one of the recharge buffs, so one of my purple sets might not be giving me my recharge bonus. If I understand the rule of 5's correctly.
  4. The powers are my current powers, and yes it is a team build. I think 0.7 seconds is small enough, and I already have a long road ahead of me if I wanted to make this build happen.
  5. So, I wanted to mess with my fire/elec/fire blaster to see how close to perma hasten I could get generally ignoring any form of mitigation. This is what I came up with, and unless I have overlooked some trick of slotting I cam really friggin close (0.7 sec).

    kat/ela?

    I have a Kat/Ela that I've been playing up for fun. I'm at 33 right now and it's been a blast the whole way, only getting better as I go. As someone who's Mids IO-fu is weak, I was wondering how some of you guys would build it up.

    To Werner, I doubt Aid-self would even be a want it in an IO build. As it is with 3 SO recharge and 2 SO heals in Energize, it's up every minute and heals for about half my bar. That could only get better with global recharge bonuses.
  7. Having played a few blasters to various levels, my next project (for GR) was gonna be a rad/ice blaster. Other than meshing those sets which I have not extensively played was the only goal there. From my experience with a sonic/cold corr, I love sonic. Problem is I would pair it with /elec for the extra damage in the melee's.
  8. Here's my first try at trying to improve my blaster's performance. Clearly I don't care about soft-capping, but I am interested to hear feedback

  9. You're right that I should be maxing recharge and regen, but you can't forget recovery. With just stamina, before IO's, I had to use Power Sink nearly every mob and that gets tedious. With my current build which is relatively cheap, I can fight solo for a while without needing a break, and on teams I use power sink every 3 or 4 spawns. That's why I include recovery even though I have a power for it already.
  10. Forgot to say, money is not an object here as I can take all the time I want putting the pieces together. Another important fact is that I could not care less about softcapping any of my defense if it requires any power changes.
  11. I have a 50 Fire/Elec, with a perfectly functional IO build. I was looking to redo the build for max recharge and recovery. The powers I have are mostly set. Basically, I could see swapping out acro for something else, if it could drastically improve my gameplay. Can some of the numbercrunching masters help me out.

    Patrons or no?

    For my (night)widow, I'm not planning on taking any patron powers, or a travel power. I have hasten, but don't see myself getting SS anytime soon. There are too many good powers.

  14. i my experience with a brute i never capped fury soloing, only about 95% of the bar that i could see. When i was in a big group tho i remember capping it because i had the whole mob of 15+ baddies attacking me and i was firing off as fast as i could. the bar stayed maxed for most of the fight but i never did get to check the actual number (too worried about when to hit dark regen)
  15. here's what i've seen so far in my playing. by selling all the way to 12 when my tray got aboyut half full i had enuf infamy for 6 DO's. by 15 i had the major ones covered (acc, res). by 17 i was only short 6 DO's total. As for SG mode my SG has tested it and there doesn't seem to be a infamy drop untill u reach lvl 25
