At least with Demon Summoning you can order your pets to dance. Can't do that with Umbra.

I wouldn't WANT to pay for it, but if it was a choice of

    a) For free, maybe a year from now
    b) 800 points, i23(.5 maybe)

    I'd pick b in a heartbeat.
  4. Brute's Fury Lists one of the enhancements as Accuracy/Endurance/Recharge - this was changed prior to release and is now Damage/Endurance Recharge. (This might be true of most of the sets actually - let me check)

EDIT - The other 11 sets are fine - other than that nasty glitch with the Controller/Dominator sets enhancement values bleeding into the set enhancement list.

There's skill involved? I just chomp [luck]s and [enrages] and fire through till I die then Rise of the Phoenix and do it again.

Let me do that for Super Speed, no matter who's using it! (Yes, the bright lights from 5 or more Super Speeders actually give me migraines - since i20 hit I've been running the minimum particle count setting)

I turned down the help and still saw the Arachnos Patrons, the Vindicators, a Kronos Titan, and I think a couple others. Found it amusing that the mobs that were destroying all these not-AVs/Heroes were getting demolished by the hundreds by me.

In Praetor Duncan's first mission you have the option to clear the map and free all the hostages (unnecessary for completion). If you do so, Numina will show up at the end of the arc to help you. In my run, she fell about a third of the way through the mission.

Uh... I'll assume villains get a slightly different take than Heroes.

That way we don't have to wait 1-2 mins per wave (well even longer than that in the hero respec it seems). If the team leader could just hit "send next wave" I would be up for more hero respec trials that's for sure!
If they did that they'd have to nerf the merit reward values, because it would go a LOT quicker.

The one in "Time After Time" does, as does the STF and the one in Recluse's Victory. Which one doesn't?
  14. ...How much just to turn OFF super speed's graphics on MY end? I can't run an iTrial with the particle count higher than 100 without getting a migraine on my new monitor.

  16. You can use them on ANY IOs that give enhancement value...

but then they're locked to your character. :/

Power creep, IMX, happens less as a marketing ploy and more as underpowered stuff gets fixed/replaced.
In a TCG like Pokemon Power Creep is very much a marketing ploy. Only with the HeartGold/SoulSilver and Black/White sets are they actually scaling back ANY power (and with Black/White they brought back Big Basic Pokemon with a vengeance).

Maybe they want us to take [Grant Invisibility]?

Savy? Are you a pirate? I'm assuming you're referring to me, since I actually got Synapse's attention. The reason I spoke out immediately upon discovering the Performance Shifter procs dramatic difference in performance is as follows:

If Synapse said it was WAI and wasn't going to change, I'd go ahead and buy a bunch while they were on sale (the ability to slot them starting at 18 isn't that appealing to me - i've got 5 or 6 level 21s in circulation right now).

If Synapse said it WASN'T WAI, (and he would find out, sooner or later) then I would save myself some money.

I'm seriously considering ignoring everyone who jumps into a thread without even bothering to read the OP.

Even if the OP ISN'T me.

    *WARNING - SPOILERS AHEAD*:

If you read the letter at the end of the ITF he suggests that *HE* was the one who gave them their crystal (and since *HE* is the founder of the Midnighter Club, that's probably true), he could simply have a second crystal lying around - or he could, if he wanted to, take it by force.

This mechanic 'forces' us to understand that, and underscores just how powerful we really are at this point. There's an AV of Requiem, Romulus, Reichsman, etc. in game, which proves to me that this is not an oversight on the dev's part. The fact these once fearsome opponents have been diminished is part of the 'working as intended' in our ascension as incarnates.

Basically, they're not less powerful, you're just that much more powerful, and the EB thing is just a game mechanic to demonstrate that.

Ultimately, I don't care either way, but I don't think it's a bug or oversight, and working just as they intended it to be...

So that way we can't complain when they sic the really nasty pancakes on us in the next installment... As demonstrated in a couple misisons (a particular Cimeroran one comes to mind...). I'm thinking they're going to focus on 'strength in numbers' against us vs singular powerful opponents. This can make us 'feel' even more powerful than fighting a single thing that's more powerful than us.

Now Incarnates are the AV's, and the old AV's and NPC's are the players that have to swarm us to have a chance. That's power.

I imagine that perspective shift is what it means to be an incarnate.
Explain how the Fifth Column, despite their auras, are EXACTLY THE SAME as the ones I've fought on Khan or anywhere else - they might have Focused Accuracy, but they're still the same cannon fodder they've ever been. Yet, they give us progress on the incarnate path!

If Requiem and Reich are EBs, then the Bosses should be Lts, the Lts minions, and the Minions Underlings.

Synapse made one single vague sentence regarding Performance Shifter in Stamina but nothing in regards to anything else.

In regards to complaining about pay2win, please these things are like 1-2 bucks. You'll spend 10 bucks on fake clothes, but now that they're selling something meaningful it becomes a Paragon witch hunt? If you don't want to buy these, then fine, don't. Your game experience won't change.
Main problem is this never would have happened if they actually gave us time to test these - they showed up on the beta server about 12 hours before they were added to the store on live.

I actually got the slot machine without knowing the requirements (My SG were doing Gangbuster for 3 hours when I was in my 20s) and I just happened to stumble upon it while searching for another contact in the Giza. I've done it on 3 other villains in the appropriate range as well.
