That's great if you switch builds regularly, or if both builds are the same. Otherwise, it's more like 30 minutes with a built-in 15 minutes of going to make a sandwich or engage in other miscellaneous activities.

They're not stuck in the barrier. They're running/bouncing around a small region around the force field. Taking a second glance at it, it almost looks like they're trying to run into the door behind the barrier (typical behavior for those puny fleeing civilians, muahahaha! - sorry, lapsed into Evil Mode), but they obviously can't.
By no means is this a major bug (it's almost amusing to watch their futile attempts at escape), I just thought I'd mention it. -
Redeemed villains don't necessarily have to be heroic do-gooders like Superman (when he's not being a jerk anyway), you know. Venom and Deadpool are two of Marvel's most well-known anti-heroes. Deadpool, despite having a heroic bent, will still hire himself out to whoever pays him, making him entirely still a Pistols Corruptor/Dual Blades Stalker (or whatever; he's tough to pigeonhole). Venom, despite his whole "Lethal Protector" thing, still went around threatening to eat the spleens of those he deemed bad guys.
So there's no reason a redeemed Mastermind can't coldly send his minions to their certain death, if it's for the greater good. -

Okay I figured out what went wrong when I downloaded your version of the file. For some reason my file got saved as a .txt file with the filename "inspcombine.mnu", as opposed to a .mnu file named "inspcombine". I fixed that and now it works. Thanks for the help.
P.S. I would never be so silly as to use Vista. -
I can't figure out what I could possibly be doing wrong. I added the newline. When that didn't work, I removed the file entirely and made a new one. The command I'm typing is "/popmenu InspCombine" (without the quotes). Have I somehow formatted the insp_combine command wrong here? It works fine for my macros, which is where I copied the commands from.
I wasn't planning on doing any other versions of this (should I actually manage to make it work), this is mainly for my toons with endurance management issues (especially lowbies). I'm still not sure if it's going to be any easier to use than the macros I made but I figured it was worth a shot. -
Quote:At this point debt barely even exists anymore. Unless you play a toon very regularly, any debt you're likely to incur will wipe out at least some Patrol XP, which sucks, but is hardly a penalty.AYE!!!
Ya know... 'datamining' being what it is... WHY, when we received the new batch of recipes options ir Obliteration, Call to Arms, etc... WHY WHY WHY debt prot?! end = awesome... but if not that, or anything else, Dear Devs, Just leave that spot blank then... if an understandably reasonable set enhancement cannot be come up with, just freaking leave that spot blank. Blank > dept prot!
The quote in my sig is from, I don't know, probably 3 years ago. Since then, they've halved debt in instances, introduced several zone events that shut off debt entirely, smoothed the XP curve, added debt-mitigating set bonuses, and introduced debt-eating Patrol XP. At this point I really do wonder what they'll do to minimize debt next. At this point maybe they should just remove it entirely, they already seem committed to removing all other challenge to the game. -
There's nothing wrong with drop rates, the problem is people aren't playing the missions that drop them to begin with. Presumably I16 will draw the farmers out of AE and we'll have supply again. Until then, post low bids and hope for a generous supplier. Any time I sell salvage these days, I put it up for 1 inf; it usually sells for much more, but occasionally it brings the prices down a bit. Of course, on my higher-level toons I tend to hoard my salvage because it's so damn expensive, which of course just makes things worse.
P.S. BBQ_Pork, I have to disagree with your sig, Throw_Fish is the best power in the game. In any game. Ever. -
Removed all the quotes except the ones needed for popmenu, switched the spaces in the Inspiration names with underscores, but it still doesn't work.

Old thread is old. I guess they don't call you "Necromatic" for nothing, though.
Anyway, if you don't think 6000+ open bids for 200+ available Alchemical Silver doesn't count as a shortage of common salvage, I'd like to know what you think does count. Of course, it'll be largely academic soon -- with I16, people will go back to farming regular content with its regular drops, and the market will be flooded with salvage again. People will get to keep their tickets, and you'll be able to craft things again without paying through the nose. Everyone wins. Thread over. -
I love this plan! I'm excited to be a part of it!
A pox of those who want to remove Origins from the game. There's already plenty of builds in the game that encourage min-maxing and so-called "perfect" builds, a little inherent isn't going to suddenly make everyone create Science-origin toons if Mutation offers its own bonus balanced against Science. -
Still doesn't seem to be working, although I was missing the comment on the first line, I didn't know about that. (I should mention, I made this edit out of game, I am aware of the fact that you can't do .mnu editing on the fly while in-game.)
Here's my .mnu file.

Wow. That is just not a good idea.
It's a GREAT idea. Devs, make this happen or you are all failures as human beings. -

Given all the DCing myself and other players have been doing lately, I hardly think it's fair to punish people for not being able to complete a Task Force. Meanwhile, other people have real life obligations. Hell, their house could be burning down, or they just got back from Mexico where they made the mistake of drinking the local tap water, you don't know. I'm not even gonna get into the whole griefing issue.
And also, as mentioned above, such a system already exists, although it does require each person to make their own judgments and it's not initially helpful if you haven't rated anyone yet. But then, why should you trust anyone else's judgment about who's a good player? Maybe someone is ordinarily a good player, but they're in a crabby mood one day; one too many team wipes on a TF and they just up and quit. Or maybe they're a giant tool but got all good ratings from their buddies who are also tools.
Other solutions: form a SG with people you know and trust, or join one of the big global channels on your server and find people there you trust. If you play with a regular group of people, there's no need to worry about who you might be teaming with -- you already know. -
Suggestion: Try not to get roped into AE too early. There's a lot to explore in this game, if you rush to 50 you may find yourself unfulfilled.

So glad the forums are back up. I was experimenting with popmenu during the downtime by viewing the Google cached version of this thread (or the first page of it, anyway), but my menu doesn't seem to be loading. I have the .mnu file in the appropriate folder, but when I do the command "/popmenu InspCombine" ingame nothing happens. I created and edited the .mnu file with the game client closed, I'm using the MenuName as the argument, but nothing happens.

"The Mission Architect is not intended as a farming tool. But go ahead and do it anyway."
Nice job, devs. You just made a bad situation worse. Guess it's time for another hiatus. -

Whatever you say, don't do this.

Seriously, I saw this comic strip about a week before a job interview then forgot about it until I was actually in the interview. I managed to mostly keep my face under control but it was highly uncomfortable. -
When you purchase the full version you need to upgrade your existing trial account. It sounds like you may have created a new account. If this is the case, you'll have to contact customer service to merge them.

Oh and also it makes no sense. The entire purpose of the leveling system is to represent the progression of your character's powers, abilities and skills. A demi-god should not face any significant native threats when he returns to his old stomping grounds.

To late ... It's called Oro Missions.
[/ QUOTE ]
Doesn't apply to zones, which is part of what people are suggesting here. Also Ouroboros involves time travel -- your character exists as they were in the past when they Flashback. What people are suggesting is that what we know now as a level 5 Hellion should still con evenly to you even when you're level 50.
