SK system: It's called Super-Sidekicking now, and yeah, it pretty much works the way you described.
Ultra Mode: So far the only model revamps we know about are for the Praetorian AVs to match the revamped Praetoria we'll be seeing.
New movement animation: Ninja Run from the Natural Booster Pack.

EDIT: Sorry I was wrong. Your mission can only grant regular drops if it's Dev's Choice, not Hall of Fame.
-
The Mission Architect's word filter is pretty unforgiving, unfortunately. Last time I checked I was unable to reference the Cabal (an actual in-game enemy group) by name. I can only assume it's also the name of an obscure DC or Marvel group that ended up on their filter (which also excludes "gambit", among other nouns).

First thought that comes to mind -- are you sure you're using your game username/password and not your PlayNC username/password? They aren't necessarily the same.
-
Also, War Witch the dev and War Witch the character are both female.
-
What they said (although it's spelled Cozmic's, with a z).

Pinnacle. There was definitely no caching involved for the other pages as I was taken to a new page I hadn't visited previously.
Sounds like it was just a fluke then. -
Had a couple of weird disconnects today, first on mission 2 of the ITF and the second in a Praetorian AV mission (not fighting, hanging out in a corner with no activity). I wasn't able to disconnect immediately, instead I got the message about checking the server status page. When I went there, it wouldn't load (a couple times I got the page, but there were no servers listed). Meanwhile, other websites loaded just fine. Eventually I was able to reconnect. Nobody else on my team DCed either time.
Thoughts? -
I was looking at the list of my Supergroup's badges and noticed under Defeats that there was a ? counter that was at 96/100. The only Supergroup Defeat badges listed on Paragon Wiki and BadgeHunter are the 4000 Flamethrowers, defeat Recluse 5 times, and Lanaru 5 times.

So is another redside raid gonna happen in the near future? I renewed a week too late for the last one.
-
The easiest way to get Entrusted With the Secret redside is to do Marshal Brass' second arc "Echo Down the Aeons". It's 3 missions and you can do it long before you ever hit level 25 (bear in mind, you won't be able to use the portal until you hit 25, but once you get there you'll be able to use it immediately).
Failing that, when you get to level 25 find someone to open a portal for you (asking in BRoadcast/Local at the Cap market usually works). Enter it, then get to the top of the spire somehow (fly/SJ/TP, otherwise you can very carefully walk up the thin pole leading up to it). -
I use the City Map occasionally blueside, as there's too many zones for me to keep straight, so I disagree with your initial statement that it's useless. I like the idea of putting zone events on there though.

Oh well, if you're talking about Freedom, that's another matter entirely. To be honest I actually had a sneaking suspicion that was the server in question. If it's really that bad, try another server? I tried making some new toons on Freedom when I ran out of Pinnacle slots but I just couldn't take the stupidity. It's kind of sad that the "drunk server" would actually have better behavior (or maybe everyone is just passed out).
But really, the whole problem I have with this thread though is that it supposes that the people you're complaining about would actually read it and/or care about it. (Ignoring the fact that the forum-going population is a mere fraction of the game's population as a whole.) Most of the folks you're describing are hormonal teenagers who just don't know any better (not excusing it or anything, just saying). Most people (especially teenagers) don't take well to lecturing. Frankly you come off as a little pompous in here. You certainly have a good point do make, I just don't think you've made it very well. Your language is just as inflammatory as the language you're decrying. -
So your argument is, don't swear because you might get a kid in trouble? You'll forgive me if I laugh in your face but out of every single argument you could have made, that's just about the silliest.
I agree that endless spamming of any sort in global channels is inappropriate, but I really don't get where this is coming from. Very rarely do I see anything like what you're describing. If you have a grievance with a specific user you should file a petition against them.
P.S. To quote a neg-rep I once got (which...I oddly cannot find anymore, wtf?): "you are not the forum police" -
Quote:It does, however, say "Online Interactions Not Rated".
These people need to realize that "T" for teen means in the "City of" world as "Suggestive themes" (I figure this means the skin-tight outfits and such...) and "Violence". I don't see it saying "Strong Language" (which according to the ESRB means, "Explicit and/or frequent use of profanity" anywhere on the box. Do you? No. -
Is it just me? For the past, I don't know, week or so, the forum has been extremely laggy for me. It doesn't seem to be slow loading times, but rather a lag between the page being fetched and the page being displayed. Not having this problem anywhere else.

The enhancement system was designed by Adrian Monk. You'll thank him later.
But seriously, I remember this subject coming up a couple months ago. I think someone said it was something along the lines of what Captain_Photon said. -
Quote:Well for one thing, they said they were going to do this straight up to Hero-Con. They never gave an actual date but they ended up stopping 2 days in advance, leaving lots of people to continue obsessively checking Twitter for 2 days for no reason. How is giving away a limited number of free items unfair to anyone who does not get one?
Is your game now less playable then before someone you don't know got a free gift?
I think we should be happy for the ones that did get something for free. Like said, it seems they had to work hard for it too..
I'm also fairly certain there were some shenanigans going on, unless there were just a lot of players from Arizona who got costume codes... -
Quote:Yes it's global, I noticed one of them myself a couple weeks back, wasn't even looking for him/her since without the Science pack I have no use for them.(As an aside, is the rename global? That is, do people without the Science pack also see them as Icon Cosmetic Surgeons now, just not get the body-type screen before the one with the costume parts? I'm afraid I never took any notice of it before I bought the booster myself.)

I hope that's not the case. I was highly unimpressed by CO, but they do have some features that would be nice to see in CoH. I don't think it makes much sense to gimp the game feature-wise purely out of spite.

I actually encountered someone who played in a Spanish class I took over the summer. Thing is, it was a few months before I started playing, so I had no context for what a "level 50 Kheldian" was. That's pretty much been it though.
I'm not surprised you haven't encountered anyone. CoH has a much smaller subscriber base than WoW. Face it, we're in a niche.
