    1. An 8 man team of fire/kins and all of them had gibberish for names, hanging around one of the portals inside portal corp

    2. All of them had only one or two badges, and one was the top influence earning badge.

    3. They would not respond to tells or local chat.

All of that combined SCREAMS RMT providers/sellers. I report groups like that every time I see em.
Then I'll report every one I see. Thanks for the confirmation.
  2. You can actually identify an inf farmer in-game pretty easily. Their name will be some combination of gibberish letters ("Gkhygenion" is a random example) with a random costume. They'll probably be a Fire/Kin Controller, or a Fire/Fire Blaster is another combination I've seen. They also tend to travel in packs.

A question I have to ask: would there be any purpose in reporting these people? Technically you have no way of knowing that they're doing anything wrong, but they're pretty obviously working for inf selling companies.

It's all a part of Thread Diversification (TD), coming in Issue 17.

For those of you out there who like to hunt out Easter Eggs, Melissa mentioned that players haven’t found them all yet, as there are still a number in the Rikti War Zone that have yet to be discovered.
This is interesting. I know there's a Council base that you can sneak into at the location of the Base Jumper badge (there's not much to it but it's still a cool hiding spot), but it sounds like there's even more stuff to find...

    No XP Granted?

Don't worry about it too much though, as I17 will bring about changes in how XP is calculated for custom critters (for the better).

I will now be very disappointed if there's no scene of Tony Stark doing this in Iron Man 2.
  8. Make sure you get the Cyborg Booster, it has holographic combat auras, as well as some other costume pieces that might work well with your costume.

As far as temporary powers go, here's a list of all the ones in the game. EMP Glove and Geometric Gauntlets would be good ones, although you can't regain them through Ouro (you can get the former in Weapon Raids through Safeguards though). The Vanguard Heavy has the same summoning animation as an Ouroboros portal. The Power Analyzer Mark I-III are also good, they gives you real numbers for enemies and has a good tech animation.

However, I'm unsure where you got this craftable temp power you described, I'm not able to find any reference to it anywhere. I'm assuming you got the Power Analyzer and just forgot its name.
  9. How does anybody fall for this prank for more than 2 seconds? My mouse periodically doesn't work when I start up my computer (it's kinda cheap like that), and every time it happens the first thing I do is turn the mouse over to see if the LED is on.

The animation from Rage would be far superior than that goofy old Tarzan-Yell.
I've always thought those two powers should have their animations switched. When a person experiences the type of rage our characters are meant to be experiencing, it doesn't usually result in them repressing their emotions. And you don't suddenly become tough because you're beating your chest and yelling a lot (despite what Spike TV would have us believe).
  11. This would all be for Going Rogue/Issue 18 (believed to be concurrent as CoV/Issue 6 were), not Issue 19 (except the Incarnate System, which will be fleshed out in I19 but started in I18/GR).

    Conspiracies are bad, mmkay?
  13. Because they perceived it as being overpowered.

    No.

Because it was overpowered -- small amount of slots for a big reward. (Yes, the recipes themselves are expensive, but only because the economy makes them so.)

None that we know of, so probably not.

    Okay.

    Returning player

Pinnacle is still active, in fact it seems to have gotten more active recently (this is anecdotal, admittedly). I dunno if you were around during the heyday of PinnacleBadges, but we've migrated to PinnBadges now after some dramaz. It's not always incredibly active overnight, but it would be a good place for you to start.
  15. Come on man, at least do a slightly plausible prank.
  16. Fun raid, given the circumstances I was working under. Will definitely make a point of attending the next raid if my schedule allows it, hopefully this time with a full view of my screen!
  17. I'm gonna go ahead and support the PvPers on this now since my graphics card(s) has/have apparently decided that I am unworthy to take part in this raid, so I now no longer care whether or not it happens.

I must have slotted Touch of Death in my hands before putting this computer together. (Of course, the original build was put together shortly before I5, long before IOs, but details, details...)

    Hello,

Thank you for contacting us on this issue. I was able to verify that an error has occurred. As such I have adjusted your account to show that you are eligible for the 36 month Veteran Rewards. Your characters should reflect this when you next log them in.

If you need assistance again, please let us know and we will gladly help you.

    Regards,
    GM Roland
And they do. Thanks to GM Roland (if he's reading) and everybody who posted here!
  19. And once again, PvP ruins things for everyone else.

I don't think any announcement made on April 1st is believable, but that's just me.

How much defense did this slotting give you?
    23.2% S/L
    10.7% F/C/E/B/P, Ranged, AoE
    30% melee

I guess I underestimated the utility of Death Shroud as anything other than easy Fury generation (and like I said, totally forgot about how bad an end drain it is).

(Amusing sidenote: In going to retrieve this information, I thought it would be easiest to just click the DataLink from my original post, only to discover that it's unclickable! It was an actual link in some draft of that post, I know because I clicked it in the post preview, I dunno what happened -- no wonder Finduilas couldn't open it!)

I took my Spines/Dark scrapper and altered it to be a DM/DA, and this is what I came up with.
Thanks, I'll take a closer look at integrating this with my current build when I get the chance. One thing that does pop out though is the damage in Dark Regen -- is it that worth it?

The other thing I notice is that this build actually does worse for recovery than the build in my original post -- 0.93/sec with all non-travel toggles on (it does better for defense, admittedly, but hardly worth it). With Dark Consumption underslotted for recharge (and taken absurdly late, but I assume that's an artifact of tossing a theoretical build together) you'd be chomping blue pills like there's no tomorrow.

I don't wish to be ungrateful though, there's definitely some ideas in here I can see trying to work into my planned build.

No, see, it's better if you don't have any quantitative knowledge because then you can enjoy the game more while you're getting curb-stomped by 4 minions!
  23. Just to clarify, my account expired on November 15th. I used the word "lapse" because my brain was too stupid to think of a more appropriate word.

September 29th is actually in line with most of my other Vet Reward dates, except for 30 months which occurred on the 17th of the month, and 27 months which is inexplicably absent from my list as I mentioned earlier.
