Six seasons of the show, gone in the blink of eye. You know, the whole "life flashing before your eyes in an instant" thing.

It was an interesting denoument. As well as an interesting take on the traditional happy ending to stories.

Umm...I see it differently. The entire series was a flashback. To me, the part in the church was the Now, not that "Now" means a whole helluva lot in that timeframe.

I'm also in Central time and mine's playing Jimmy Kimmel. We had a half-hour of news prior, then Jimmy at 11.

As to the alternate endings...meh. I was hoping for some actual different endings, not spoofs or such.

Also, glad I didn't buy the individual seasons. That complete collection looks neat. It's already up on Amazon for $150ish as a preorder.

He was a construct. He was part of the "perfect"-ish world that they created as a means of meeting each other.

Or that our view of what comes after is meaningless and the whole point of the "Purgatory" is to just let go and come to terms with what we did while on this plane of existence. No punishment, no reward, just release and the chance to move on.

Because lets face it...the things we do here on this plane are so utterly meaningless and finite, that holding on to the wrongs, the rights, the indecisions, the hatreds, the things that hold us back from being is just plain dumb. We all will face that gate at some point, and the only real thing we can do is let go, forgive, and hope that we are in turn forgiven.

Nope. They all died at various times. Some before (Shannon, Boone, Sayid, etc). Some died long after (Hurley, Ben, etc). They were all important to each other (excepting, IMO Ben) so naturally, they would look like what they looked like during that time, more or less.

You don't think old people go to Heaven or whatever and have to be old do you? Cuz that would suck.

He wasn't ready to move on. The others were. Also, he wasn't really a part of their "group".

Ok, so that throws out that theory of mine to the universes, at least in terms of the show.

And yet, funnily enough, they felt it was necessary to include it in the Issue 17 Overview.

Crossover from Hero -> Villain and Villain -> Hero. Nevertheless, the Overview page does indeed say a 1000 badge badge.

Might as well put it in now and be done with it. *shrug*

So then it's possible there are more single-core users out there wif fairly good vid cards.

It's an interesting question, at least to me.

I know when I put in that 5750 (thanks to all the peoples that helped with that BTW), I saw a pretty dramatic boost in Fallout 3. Went in and checked out CoX and cranked the settings up pretty high and got a decent FPS in Cimerora. Haven't tested it on teams yet though, so dunno how it'll handle it there.

Of course, I know that at some point, I'll need to get a completely new comp, but I'm hoping I can squeeze out a few more years with this one. I'm not really planning on doing too much more PC gaming as the rather draconian DRM schemes that are becoming prevalent are turning me off of it. CoX and the older games are about all I'll be using it for anymore. The last game I got for it is the GOTY edition of Oblivion. Though Fallout: New Vegas will be on the list of must-buys.

Does my P4 w/HT count as single-cored?
