  1. Not a chance. I've not liked Shia Overcastundertalented in any of the films I've seen him in.

    What are your horror stories?
    Tell me...

Do you also have problems with kids on your lawn? Also, is music too loud and do things cost more than they used to?

  3. Heads up, it's back on tonight after wrasslin'. 9pm Central.
  4. So...is Trianna gone for good? Cuz there's a lotta dudes in the show, not so much with the ladies.
  5. Damn right I'd be a supervillain. All of you peons would bow down before my awesomitude! You'd serve me for eternity and you'd LIKE it! BWAHAHAHAHA!

I not only got jabbed in the ribs, but also got to hear "so is Chuck just going after ratings now" when the bikini montage took place.

    Both were worth it however
In case it's been missed, pretty much every episode has found SOME way to show Sarah in her skimpies. It's nothing new and they tend to offset the half-nekkid Sarah with Devon running around shirtless. Something for everyone.

    Chuck 10/11

Chuck is a sneaky little bugger, I'll give him that. And Morgan...how does that little gnome get not one, but two hotties? That does not compute.
  8. Eh, ep didn't really grab me. Dean is like unbuttered toast, just dull.

It could be that I was more intent on feeding 7 demanding kittehs to pay attention though.

Yes, considering I never read the Katy Perry thread, nor have I any intention on reading it.
  10. Something odd that I like...

Peanut butter on pepperoni pizza. Creamy kind, not the chunky. The peanut butter's sweetness goes great with the salty/slightly spicyness of the pepperoni. Plus, it helps to absorb some of the grease produced from the pepperoni.
  11. Possibly relevant to the conversation...

How effective, if at all, they are? *shrug* But they do make things tastier.
  12. I will say this...I have seen ads for GR in DC Comics and I'm thinking I also saw 'em in Marvel...
  13. Those calorie counters are best estimates. You may burn more or less. Start small and work yourself up to longer and longer times. The thing that stops most people is they overdo it the first time, end up sore as hell, and then stop.

The thing about the exercise is that the more you do it, the more your body will burn the calories after you stop. If you are cutting out 100 calories and burning 100 calories, you are actually making a 200 calorie reduction. That's why diet and exercise tends to be effective, since you are hitting it from both angles, rather than just the one.

Someone above mentioned swimming as exercise to help avoid back pain. This is a good suggestion to at least try and see how your back reacts to it.
You don't even need to actually swim. Simply walking around in the water would be great exercise. The water acts as both resistance and floatation device.

Everyone that has said "you're not ready" that is an asinine statement to make about someone you don't know and it goes against what you are saying. Do you really think that saying "You're not ready" is going to help a situation that you think is a mental thing?
Except for the fact that you simply aren't ready to do this. When you look at your problems and say, "I can't do this" or "This is impractical", you've already defeated yourself before you even start.

IMHO, you are looking for validation of your current situation. People have given you a great deal of good to excellent advice, but each one gets shot down. Rather than look at the ideas as untenable, adapt them to your specific situation. You know yourself better than we do.

As Yoda once said, "Do or do not. There is no try.".

Have you had amaranth before? It's another grain crop. Really small seeds.

I've grown it before and it's a really neat looking plant. The kind I've got is about 6' tall and a really neat shade of reddish purple.
  15. Yep.

All the goodness of the first episode was totally negated by the unending political commentary of the second.

At least American Dad was funny as everything.
  16. I never give Hank enough credit. But the thing with the watch? Totally awesome.

The episode was just so wrong, yet so damn funny.

Oliver's Twist I think it was called, was a really good show. That dude just has way too much energy. Couldn't really get into his second show, can't recall the name ATM but I've got a bunch of episodes on the DVR and seems to be on the new Cooking channel, as it seemed a bit too...hippy...for lack of a better word.

    Fair Use

The four things about Fair Use:

    Quote:
    1. the purpose and character of the use, including whether such use is of a commercial nature or is for nonprofit educational purposes;
    2. the nature of the copyrighted work;
    3. the amount and substantiality of the portion used in relation to the copyrighted work as a whole; and
    4. the effect of the use upon the potential market for or value of the copyrighted work.

She ended up being a human, iirc. Then she got revampirized. Then she got knocked up with Angel's kid. The presence of the kid let her fake having a soul which conflicted with her vampyness. Gave birth to the child by staking herself. The kid was with Angel for awhile with Cordy being faux-momma. Kid got kidnapped and went to a Hell dimension, came back as an adult and had a squicky romance with Cordy.

    Ya...

  21. Ben Grimm there is a sketch artist, so not "really" a cop.

The son has, what appears to be, either super intelligence developing or the ability to skip steps and see the solution to problems.

    This^

    The teleporter fight?

THAT is what Heroes should've been doing instead of just showing light flashes when the two toughest characters are supposedly battling.
  23. So far, it seems to me it's like what Heroes should have been. It's not taking itself too seriously and seems like it'll be a good show.

Though it's hard seeing Julie Benz as anything other than Darla the Superspeeding Vampire at this point.

    So, Chuck?

To be fair, Nicole Richie and Steve Austin are returning characters. Steve was on last year and I can't recall what season it was that Richie was on.

Catfight between Sarah and Evil Spy? Awesome. And it furthers the show's running gag of trying to get Sarah into her skimpies in every episode. To be fair there, they also offer Awesome up for the ladies, since he tends to be shirtless a lot.
