    Something else to consider with Superman's daughter. Say she wanted to go into the heroing biz. Can you hear Clark saying, "You are not going heroing in THAT outfit young woman! Back up into your room and change into the baggy sweater and sweatpants that Grandma made for you!".

    Superman's Daughter. Can you imagine the overprotective dad trip with him? No guy would stand a chance.

    Wonder Woman's son would be the luckiest guy on the planet. Summer vacations to Paradise Island?

    Started in on Ah My Buddha. Fairly typical harem/fanservice/comedy show, but definitely had some laughs in there so far.

    Only have one more disc left in my quest to complete all 62 discs in the Urusei Yatsura series.

    Considering that we've had the problems since September/October, this does not lead me to believe that CoH is at all a concern or priority for NCSoft's billing department. That doesn't even touch on the fact that the Discussion thread about said items has been all but ignored by rednames since the beginning of November along with the problems/CS experiences people are reporting.

    Since you are here and answering GF, when can we expect something new to come in for the Tier 9 VIP stuff?

    And an addendum...is there any work being done on getting an actual fix or at the very least a timetable that doesn't shift from month-to-month for the awarding of Paragon Points and Reward Tokens for VIPs? That thread about such has pretty much been ignored by rednames for a considerable amount of time.

    Or is that issue marked down as Working As Intended with no future thought given to it?

    Haven't seen ratings, but it is getting a second season of at least 13 episodes.

    Edit - The Dec. 1 episode apparently got a 1.6 of 18-49. It appears to hover in the 1.6-1.8ish range.

    Grimm also appears to have gotten a full season. And South Park appears to be renewed through Season 20.

    Longer running time is questionable as there are several cuts of the 1984 movie. There's the 2 hour version commonly found on VHS/DVD, there's a slightly longer 3-4 hour version (it was on IFC recently, iirc), and I seem to remember a 3-night miniseries version/cut on tv WAAAAAAYYYY back when (but that's probably the 3-4 hour extended cut).

    I would rather have the remake. The effects were better, the costuming was better, the story was more in line with the books, the fight scenes were better and the characters actually felt like they were nobility (even the Baron). The only thing the '84 movie had going for it was Patrick Stewart.

    I can only really level two criticisms at the mini. Namely some of the backgrounds were clearly painted set pieces (in the sietch particularly) and the lack of stillsuit discipline/water barrier usage amongst the Fremen.

    The LotR books are some of the driest, most boring things I've ever read. Hey Tolkein! Sure, people will LOVE droning on for 10 pages describing the veining on a leaf and how it just makes Legolas so melancholy.

    The original flick was horrible. Between the Navigators looking like something that should've been flushed, Sting's *shudder* codpiece, the lack of Harrah, the "weirding modules' and Thufir looking/acting like he should be in a home for Mentats, that was an absolute abomination of a movie.

    The SciFi mini series was just awesome. And add in that they did Dune Messiah/Children of Dune with Prof X from First Class. I really wish they would've done God Emperor, Heretics, and Chapterhouse as well.

    $10 for a rename seems to be standard. It is the cost for renaming gamertags on Xbox Live for instance. And yes, people waste that much money on it. I've got a relative that's changed his GT at least six times now.
