Yes it is, but it's symptomatic of a larger problem that I'm seeing recently. I'm not crying DOOoOOoOOoOOOooooOM or anything, but don't have much hope either. -

Still bugged. If you see a Dev in-game, they may be able to spawn one for you (this is how a few people have the badge already), but it will not spawn on its normal timer.

Something like that anyways. I've never really hunted for the Flyer or concerned myself with the bug issues with it.

I've never heard of anyone actually catching the flyer at those times.
Considering how many people it takes to kill a Giant Monster, the time of day of the server resets, the fact that you'd need to have all those people signing on pretty much right when the server comes up (so doing nothing but watching server status for an hour or so), and the limited timeframe to kill it before it despawns, I'm not sure you'd ever get the badge that way even if the flier does spawn.

And yes, Blaster/Electrical Mastery APP/EM Pulse is indeed a PBAoE disorient, not a hold. -

There are the Blaster buffs, as well as the Controller nerfings.
And per a post from Lighthouse here, there will be a free 'spec given out. Just not sure of the timing of when. It's not 'technically' a part of Issue 8, but close enough.

Just a bit more. I'm now up to 5 Safeguards, with a couple zoning/resets, and a couple completed PBs. Still not a single Malta mission.

What with the Invention system coming out, and apparently an Auction House-type thing as well. Although, we don't really know how all that is going to work.

Wow, I have saved a few, but that is an impressive collection. You know what you could do? Take one of each type out of storage, and make notes telling you which tray position matches each group in storage. Then copy that character to the Test Server, and see what each one is.
I do not have as many saved as you do, but I have done this and it works, as long as you don't have any ethical issue with looking inside your wrapped presents.

Hehe. And that's only from the characters I really play. If I was to add up all of the ones from alts on other servers, it would probably top 150 presents. I should actually go through my alts and count them up some day.
As for checking it out...that's actually a darn good method. Think I may give that a try. Thanks!No ethical issues as I used to find and sneak peeks at my presents when I was a kid.

If it's a Tier 1 or Tier 2, I'll use 'em up, after all, those things are plentiful.
If it's a Tier 3, well, that sucker's getting saved for something REALLY big. Since I can't reliably get them anymore (come on and unnerf Kora already, it's been long enough, something should've been done by now to differentiate it from regular Tier 3's), it has to be something good to get me to use them.
Presents? Those things go RIGHT into storage. I'm sitting on 54 Presents from various Winter events (2 from the original btw). Anyone else notice that when put into storage, they sort by whatever type of present they are? You can't tell until you use it what type it is though. -

I'm surprised as many people have read this as they have. Hopefully, it's helped people out.
One final thing that I changed with yet another free 'spec (think it was a freebie anyways) was to swap out the cone attack from Electric Mastery for the single target hold, Shocking Bolt. That one is also slotted with 1 Acc/Mez Hami, 2 Hold Duration, and 1 Recharge. It takes 2 seconds for activation compared to Bitter Freeze Ray's 3.7 seconds (according to Hero Builder), making for a quicker cycle with Freeze Ray. One day, I'd like to get 3 Acc/Mez Hamis in there.
Shocking Bolt makes for 3 single target holds in the build. Extremely powerful.
I used this build for PvP and did earn myself Disruptor, mostly solo, with some teaming. It was fun in the early days going in toe-to-toe with Brutes and even Scrappers. Too bad in order to keep the melee'ers happy they nerfed toggle dropping to nigh useless.
One thing that did bother me in Siren's, was the fact that to hold a Corrupter, they typically needed at least two holds on them, while all it took to get me held was a single Freeze Ray from an Ice/. Very frustrating. Yes, I could've swapped to CJ/SJ/Acro for the character, but that would be a concept breaker just for the mini game that is PvP. -

Not so. Krylov's mission where he has you deliver civilians to the Vahz, even on the lowest difficulty setting and solo, spawns 3 Bone Daddies (and 3 Clockwork bosses-downgraded-to-lieutenants that spawn gears) each time you go through it. It's not pretty, but it's how my new badge toon got bot the Bone Daddy and Gear badges.

As to WHY I don't like it, well, you're replacing a 'rare' group with one that spawns in the wild pretty frequently. If it was AP and KR with Skulls, that would be ok, since they are appropriate level ranges.
Or conversly, instead of changing KR to Skulls, change it to Legacy Chain. There aren't enough missions there (IMO, unless doing Virgil's SF) that spawn Lts for that badge. LC is an underused group, IMO, and 10-15 would seem to be an appropriate range for them.
Ideally, what I'd like to see is the amount of PPD reduced considerably (along with a serious reduction in the amount needed for that badge, make it maybe 250 PPD) and have them replaced with typical mob spawns, with only the key holders being given text. Do villains really need 3 badges that require 1000 kills to obtain (Zookeeper, PPD badge, and Villain - along with the change to the Improved Igniter SG thing needing 4000 kills)? Zookeeper is one thing since it's Underling class mobs, but 1k minions? A little much IMO. -

Just something I'd like to drop in here to this Lemur. Changing the Skulls to Hellions would probably not be a good idea IMHO. You can easily get Hellion bosses in the eastern part of Port Oakes (Dockside?). I worked on that badge while doing the Marcone bosses badge with my Brute. Now, granted this was a fair bit of time ago, but I seem to remember still seeing Damned in there recently.
The only other option we have for Skull bosses (besides the rare newspaper mission) is Psymon Omega's Phobia mission in the 30-35 range (or is it 35-40? Can't remember his setting).

They invariably rush from the last mob, halfway down on health and with a 1/4 a bar of end, straight into the next mob. Their teammates, just finishing up the +3 Carnie boss that 1-shotted the /Thermal(who is still dead), are than forced to run to the aid of the brute(now screaming H34L!!!11!) and than of course... are wiped out.

There is a term for this...it is called Fury-lock. Much like the Scrapper version, Scrapperlock. You get so intent on keeping that Fury meter up, you don't pay attention to silly little things like Health or Endurance. -
Couple of things I think go with this:
You will be droned. Repeatedly. Sometimes it happens because of poor planning on your part (I'm guilty of Tab targetting + Autofire), most on twinks who think its funny to TP Foe you next to a drone and make you come back, just so they can do it again.
There will be instances where you are TP'd into a group of 8 people with Zero chance to react.
Corruptors and Dominators will, most times, hide behind a shield of Stalkers. Your hero will get held, then get multiple "Assassin Strike"s appearing over your head.
Most people will go for the easy kill. Needs to be repeated. Anyone 'hard' to kill will be avoided like the plague unless their mez protection is dropped. This goes for Doms, Corrs, Blasters, Defs, Trollers.
Don't count on honor. There is very little of it to be found (there are the good players who will respect someone's wishes, but the majority won't) in this (or any MMO) game's PvP zones.
Don't count on 'duels' not being interrupted. Always assume there is someone else just waiting to get you while your 'dueling'.
Make sure that lone squishy is actually alone. Don't assume the Dom is actually alone. You go to attack and get 7 "Assassin Strike"s above your head.
If you're an MM, your pets will 9 times out of 10 be ignored.
And for the record, I hate what PvP has done to this game, between the nerf calls, the trash talking, and the general bad attitudes, it has really brought down what I felt was close to a perfect game. The only reason I am doing it, is because they have attached things I love (badges) to the thing I detest most of all in games, PvP. -

Well, here's how I feel, if you're going after Knockdown, Slow, or Cold resistant foes, you're going to want as much Slow as possible, to keep them in that area as long as possible and get the most bang for your buck.
I've slotted it right now with 1 Damage/Acc Hami-O, 2 53 Damage, 1 52 Slow, 1 52 ToHit Debuff, 1 52 End Redux. I just ran a quick check on a Yellow Behemoth Overlord + 2 Possessed Scientists (white con). They went down pretty quick and didn't make it out of the area of effect.
But really, what else are you going to slot in there? You could stick in recharges, but I don't find myself using it all that much since I solo mostly. It doesn't accept Knockback/down enhancements (though that would be a nice change if it did). End reductions are nice if you're using it after you've been blasting for a bit. I don't know the ToHit Debuff percents it slaps on the baddies. With Special ED, 3 damages are the limit for those. More than 1 acc might be a waste (possibly helpful if you intend to use it in a group facing reds and purples - I definitely DO NOT recommend using it solo against reds and purples as it will not kill them and you'll be fairly helpless), since it is pretty accurate to begin with (I use the Dmg/Acc since its left over from other powers and really wouldn't benefit anything else).
If a person doesn't have Hamis, I would say 3 damage and 1 accuracy would be the baseline, the other 2 slots (if used at all) are really whatever the person feels would benefit them.
Some changes that I've made:
Switched to the Electric Mastery Epic. According to Hero Planner, with the 3 Resists in Charged Armor, I'm getting 32.53% Resist for S&L and 23.66% for Energy. Compare that with 38.44% for S&L from Temp Invul, I'm willing to lose that 6% for S&L for an additional 23% of Energy resist. Granted there's Force of Nature and PFF with Force Mastery, but with Elec, I've also got another attack that with 1 End Mod will replenish what it takes for an attack (plus is a cone attack). Plus EMP Pulse that I've used and it drained about 80-90% of the end from a group of baddies (not kidding, there was a sliver left).
Honestly, ED wasn't all that bad for me, since I was mostly compliant to begin with, at least for this character. *shrug* What makes me mad now, is it usually takes an extra attack to finish off a white con minion. Ice Blast + BiB leaves a sliver of life left on them that a Freeze Ray will take off. Its very annoying to not be able to 2-shot most minions now.
