I have a special folder I started a little while back I titled "Just Friggin Awesome" where I collect ones that I think are really above and beyond. These generally don't have the CoH artists, since I have another folder, "CoH", just for those, but I'm slowly working on migrating all my favorite favorites to the JFA list.

Several people have mentioned the youthfulness of the face. I'd like to explain a little further;
I met a woman online named Becky. I don't know her well and I've never met her in person, but I've learned that Becky used to be overweight and geeky to the point of being teased. A lot. Over the last couple of years, she has dedicated herself to a healthy lifestyle and has really shaped up - she now regularly models as various superheroes at conventions, but her favorite is Emma Frost. I chose to feature her as the face model in this piece, in part, to celebrate her success in turning her life around.
If you google 'Becky "aktrez" Young', you'll see her in several of her costumes. so while the face isn't as old, or strong, or severe as Emma Frost might need to be, it mattered to me more to feature Becky as she looks now.
She loves the piece. That's what mattered most to me.

Pretty good, but you can obviously tell it's Poser.
Also background is horrible.

As you all know, I've been moving towards DC and Marvel characters in the hopes of eventually getting picked up to do covers or pin-ups for the 'big boys'. Most of my pieces have been DC-based, so I thought it was time to start on some Marvels. This is the first.

Awesome render of Emma!! -
It's been suggested before, I know. The place to post this is really in the Suggestions section. The dev's don't really read stuff here as a rule, so it's more likely to be see there. And there may well be a thread going with this suggestion already.
That said, only accepting from friends/SG as an option sounds good. -
A few more from my creations that I don't think I've posted here...

Me neither - I use Chrome most all the time, and just checked the link with no problems.

Custom clockwork rogue faction, the Clicky-Clacks. Take blues, as several have electrical attacks. -
Just ran it again on live. And did something that's now a challenge to the rest of you. You need to defeat that hooded goofy-looking electric guy using a Nemesis staff. Just because of the irony.

Oh, and the dream fight - Tanks vs. 3 Invincible-chicks.

thanks lach, for posting this.
one thing that would be great for COH is if was accesible to people, both with hearing losses and people who are having to play without sound.
Microsoft and Apple both have screen blinks when an error message happens, in order to alert the user to the fact that there's a message.
City of Heroes does not have anything within the game that makes it accessible to different populations.
I was talking with a different player, who mentioned that one of their friends developed a program for them, like a sound meter, to let them know when they were getting close to the glowie...it was a version of getting hot, or getting cold.
I hate getting mad when I can't finish the mish because I'm scouring every inch of the map to find this glowie, only to ask people around me if they can hear it, and tell me to get closer to it.
While I do have hearing, it's a bit hard to tell the difference between the music and the glowies.
Please consider this for i15. Thanks!

This proposal gets the Dark Ether seal of approval, and must not wait for I-15.
