  1. Not really a good one to try and solo - his pets alone will eat you alive.

Try broadcasting in the Hollows - you'll usually find several there who may join you. If not, try the badges or chat channels and see if you can get some help via those routes. With the SSKing it seems more likely now, since those EXed down will get XP.

    This sucks....

First off, you win because of the Queen link.

Secondly, now I wonder how far you'll shoot in a geyser with the Ninja Run?!

    Mini Babbage?

Can we somehow blame the walk animation for this? lol

    Mini Babbage?

I think much of our steel production has been headed overseas, so they're having to cut back, as well.

  5. Perhaps just the animation team in general, then, for the award. Much awesomeness this year.

The last announcement I see says it was supposed to end on Wednesday, November 11th.

Yeah, I went on Infinity tonight for a while and it was still active there. Pinnacle was "normal". Those are the only ones I tried.

I realize that in general, but since credit goes to the teams doing enough damage, there should be a somewhat different way to do it in the future so that debuff-heavier teams don't suffer.

    Umbra Illuminati

FYI to all UI'ers, and potential recruits , we decided tonight to try Monday evenings, 8 pm ET/7 pm CT. Hopefully that will be better for more people - we had another fail tonight.

    Ninja Run

Pool travel powers (like CJ, SJ, SS) will detoggle NR. Passive powers, like hurdle and swift will work with it, as does Sprint.

It seems it won't be as quick running as SS, nor able to jump as high or far as SJ, nor should it. But it's a nice combination of toned-down versions of those that should make "natural travel" folks really a fan of this power.
  10. On Pinnacle it seems the zombie invasion has merely been replaced by herds of roaming, prancing ninjas.
  11. Moo, you incredible genius!! Great analysis.

Actually, I concur. Too many, too long. Got aggravated when I had street sweep missions, which happened quite a bit.

I think one zone at a time is the way to go, and make it so that everyone gets credit, no matter what percentage of damage they do. When playing my debuffer, I felt as if I were not really contributing to the team getting the badge.

Also, if killing the foes "in the ring" was the only way they would count, then they need to stay in there more often, and not move out and range attack.

On those systems, they typically offer a 15-month av package of some sort, but normally "none" isn't listed as an option.

If you build a system via the Business route instead of Home, they will often have "none" as an option, but the other options may not all be there.

Also, grats on the nice comic cover! I need to get one of those done some time...

    New Laptop

I checked a few other systems they had, and it looks like they got a deal on that vid card - it's what they had for the XPS's. You'd have to step into an Alineware laptop to get an NVidia GTX 260M, and then ther other upgrades would be slightly more costly.

I've had good luck with Dells in the past, too - I'm no basher of theirs - but in this case, if you want a laptop, you might also give this site a look:

    http://www.xoticpc.com/

I've not ordered from them, although I think I got the site link from someone here who has done so. The have quite a few Sagers and Asus laptops in the Gaming category on their site.

Also, Newegg has laptops listed here:

You might find what you want there, as well.

    This sucks....

I was pondering how far the geyser would send your character if they were walking. I'm guess a nice, short arcing plummet.
  20. Dip in a little melted butter....yep!
  21. Of those three, Fire's probably your best bet. But allow me to toss out Broad Sword for your consideration. Nice single targets and a couple area attacks, plus the combination of sword and shield is a classic one. I am enjoying mine.

This is sans monitor, but the vid card is a good bit better. This is a tweaked version of one of their specials. You might start there and find that you can work more into a system since you start out saving a bit on those. I think they have weekly specials.
