Quote:Also, Fallout isn't a bad team-oriented power, but the question becomes: how often are you going to rely on having a fallen teammate to cast it on?
If you do the Self-Destruct - Fallout - Rez combo (best with Rise of the Phoenix), you'll want to do this quite often.

Try, with a Rad on the team, to self-destruct, then the Rad can use Fallout which causes nice damage, plus debuffs about everything, then you can Rise of the Phoenix to finish off the rest, if there are any. Boom-bada-boom!

Quote:If they had ever done their job of punishing the violations in the first place, it would have severely curtailed the abuses down to a managable level.
I think the few mods we have have more things to be looking at than to be reading everyone's rep comments. We did not have this petty "boast or blast" feature before, and I can't see *any* reason to have it now, other that as a mini game so people can see how many green or red ticks they can get.
My suggestion would be, if you think someone's comment is good, there's nothing wrong with posting in the thread. Same if you think their idea is a poor one. The kind of fungus that have posted some rep comments I've heard about can't stand the light of day, so they won't post in the open. Problem eliminated. -
It was another method by which people were being harassed on the forums, so it was disabled. It wouldn't bother me if the whole thing were chucked - it's just another little game that people are playing.

Quote:Hey All
Its been a long time since I been here. Just want to say hello. Whats new? Any cool art these days?
Hit me back
Missy K
Hey, Missy, Welcome back!! There have been quite a few new cool pieces recently. I think Katfood's trying to commission every artist by the end of the year. I've gotten just a few - trying to save for a new computer and my next Graver piece in the trilogy. TA's been subtly working it so that people draw his characters.
So...pretty much as expected.
Everthing else is going strong, and we're at the finale of the current Fan Art contest, which has been neat.
Make sure you hang around and keep us company! -
Quote:This thread plays out like the "What have the Romans ever done for us?" Monty Python bit.
Ok, but aside for the unlockable Roman Armour pieces, Ulterior, Vines, the new day jobs jackets and other pieces, Arctic, the new faces and accessories, what have they ever done for us??

If you can. I would. The version you have would only "see" 3.25 Gb of Ram, I believe it is, whereas the 64-bot version will enable you to move beyond that. It's probably not as critical if you go to 4 Gb Ram, but if you decide to go to 6 or 8 you'll definitely want the 64-bit version.

Welcome to Pinn!
The "drunk server" originally came from the fact that when all the servers were down, it seemed Pinnacle was always the last to get back up, i.e. staggering back to it's feet.
I imagine there aren't really more players who drink or are drunk on one server than another, but we have the title, and are keeping it!

Also I didn't buy the pack so I'm not 100% sure on anything about it. Do you guys know if we can slot it like a regular power? I know we can slot our vet sprints but not sure about the ninja thing, I don't think we can cuz we can't slot the pocket D jump pack, but I'm clueless about this thing.
Nope, can't slot it. But it works with Sprint on and swift/hurdle/quickness/etc. -
Here's a clickable link to that page you posted:

If that's the MoBo you have, here's the memory info for it (from the NewEgg page):
Memory:
Number of Memory Slots 4×240pin
Memory Standard DDR2 800
Maximum Memory Supported 16GB
Channel Supported Dual Channel
If the memory in the $500 rig you mentioned is what you have, then you have 2 1Gb chips. Your MoBo has room for more, so you should be able to order another kit of 2 and plug them in to get to 4 Gb. I'd recommend getting the same thing as what you already have, if you can find it. If not, look for memory chips that are DDR2 800.
Here's a link to NewEgg for that type of memory:NewEgg.
I don't see those Platinum chips there any more, so you may have to hunt elsewhere for them, or go with a different one. -
First off, I'd recommend going here and doing the system scan there at the top. That will let you know just what you have for sure on your system.
That said, you do have 2 Gb Ram. I'd recommend at least 4 Gb, and I would definitely go to Win 7 in lieu of Vista. If you can, get the 64-bit version so you can use Ram over 3.25 Gb.
From the above scan, it should show you info about your Ram. Depending on how many slots are available on your motherboard, and what size and number of chips you put in there (2-1 Gb or 4-512 Mb, for example), you may be able to add more of the same, or you may need to get new chips altogether. For example, if you have 4 slots for Ram, and put in 4-512's, you'll end up swapping all out for 4-1Gb's (or whatever you decided on).
Some of the gurus here will offer better advice, I'm sure, if you'll list the results from the scan. -

I imagine Statesman sounds somewhat like this ...
