Once again, there were about a dozen entries that I liked in one way or another. At least I didn't have to pick just one or I'd still be debating this time next week.
1. Frost. Simple and funny.
2. U-Naught. Great coloring with the crayons!
3. Bubbawheat. Popsicle sticks ftw! -

If no one does "Lust" I'm gonna cry.
I'm already saddened from the lack of macaroni noodles in the April contest...this could get messy. -

Here's the theme song for the thread: Through The Years. <sniffle>
(actually kinda funny if you listen to the lyrics and apply them to the player singing about the game)
Edit: I think I remember slow dancing to this song about CoH. -
Quote:It's not one percent, it was one degree. One would hope so. In fact, has anyone bothered to do the math on this one? If they're shooting for 1% a week, that's 100 weeks to fully switch over. According to the Internet, there are 52 (and a bit) weeks in a year, so that's TWO YEARS to switch over ONE CHARACTER. This is so completely stupid that I have a hard time believing that's what they're really shooting for. Either that answer was misspoken and ambiguous, or we're reading it wrong.
I want to think it's what Futurias suggests, in that you can switch over much more easily than that, but will have to wait a week before you switch back. Which would make sense.
I may have read or interpreted it wrongly, but I took "degree" to be more like steps of "alignment". If so it would be a step a week, so villain - rogue - hero would be two steps. Two weeks. Not unfair or tough at all.
If they are talking degrees as in angles, then to switch sides would be a 180. 180 actual weeks would be a long time in real time. Now 180 in-game weeks would not be nearly so bad, since days cycle fairly quickly.
I think we should get more clarification before ringing the bell and crying "Doom!" or "Bring out your dead!" -
There are things in the game that are harder than others, but the entire game is not an xp-void impossibility, as the op implies. I'd enjoy some more challenging content beyond the current "wipe out everyone in the office" -type of stuff.
Also, it's Caturday!

Quote:What a waste of internet web space....answering questions like:
"why is this game so awesome?"
Why even answer that question? These questions are like the equivalent of Larry King Live journalism.
Yeah, or Babwa Wawa asking what kind of tree you'd want to be.
I mean, everyone know the answer to that one... -

Heheh.
Hmm...nothing since the cat fight question... -

Still hope they'll answer my question about SG invites to offline folks...been wanting that for a while now.
But I asked it in my Les Nessman guise, so they may have ignore it. -

Just for kicks, I checked the compatibility chart for Crossfire here, and it's as I thought...the 5770 won't work with the 5970.
Not like that would be more overkill or anything... -

Nice!
That last one's very cool! I like the mods to the costume - very neat.
More congrats! -
Quote:But I *have* a reference picture right in my sig and a face shot as my avatar.
I'm a blue-furred Blue Russian, wearing a purple costume with 4 pink stars on each sleeve, 3 pink stars in back, a circle of 12 pink stars around a larger pink star, 7 pink stars along each leg, and a mini-cape with 9 pink stars (in a u-shaped pattern, sandwiched between 2 upper & 2 lower wavy lines) and a lavender interior. The cowl itself is very well represented.
I'd like to add how wonderful the April submissions for the Fan Art contest are coming along. I'm not quite sure if extended middle fingers, buxom Orion slave girls, and thermometers in certain places are *quite* what Kindergarteners are displaying in their artwork, though. On the other hand ... um ... paw ... I'm being home-schooled!
The most important question is would you chatter at moths and birds? Or just Hellions? -
My questions:
1. Who are you trying to kid here?
Follow up!!
2. Just what are you trying to pull?
Thank you!
Yes, I attended the Les Nessman school of journalism. -
I sure wish someone would nerf my drops.
