That's very nice - congrats! Windrider's been on my watch list for a long time now.

Odds bodkins! That's a nice piece of forsooth you drew there!
-
That sounds like fun! It might be a bit late for me, though - there's a local comic con the next day that may get me up earlier than a normal Saturday. I'll have to see, though.

I'm going with the 5870 with an eye towards saving up for a second one to crossfire later on. I'd go that route. Just make sure your power supply is ready for it.

Great piece, and congrats on the talent you were able to get!
-
Congrats!
I'm nearly there myself - got all the hero ATs there a while back, but I have too many alts going, so the remaining few villain ATs are going to take a bit yet. -

Quote:Really?? Well, ok, yeah really... But I mean is ALL construction paper this thin now?? When I was a kid I remember it was a step below cardboard. This colored crap I bought off of Amazon (Yes, I am so lazy that I ordered crayons and construction paper off Amazon rather than going to a store!) is weaker than paper...
Yeah, totally. You used to could lop the head off a chicken with construction paper! And another thing...why is the penny bubble gum that was a penny now 5 cents, and the flavor doesn't last but about 3 minutes?
Progress, pfaff! -

No worries - happens to all of us one time or another.
Hope you're enjoying the game! -
Maybe something to try for your next refrigerator piece!
And they really don't make stuff like they used to.... <wistful sigh> -

You should be able to just grab the edge and bottom of it and pull it out to make it larger.
-
Try this - it might work ok:
If you have a tan shirt, take some tape and stick it to the shirt. When you peel it off, it should pick up a bit of the shirt fuzz with it, which should dull the look a bit. You may have to experiment with darker color shirts/pants/whatever to get the color right, and to see how much you can do before you totally cover up all the sticky stuff.
This trick is what we'd do for a drafting page (back before the computer cadd stuff) if you had masking tape instead of drafting tape - it will pick up some of the "fuzz" and make the tape less sticky, like drafting tape is, so it wouldn't tear your drawing when you remove it from your drafting board. but since you pick up some of the material, it should tint the tape a bit, too. -

Something with a fluffy dog tail, please!!
Actually, I'm so far gone, I'll probably buy one of whatever it is. -
I've already read, digested, and burped back up these suggestions. Wonder when Pebbles will be back? Or did one of you scare them off??

Steelclaw, you incredible genius!!
Well, that may be a bit strong, but the post was funny. -
Hehehe....very cool!
I hope we get more pieces from people who may not be in the contest. I like seeing them all!
