Quote:Hi guys,
so (assume blue to blue/red to red only) can I send stuff across servers now using:
1. my global on the same account and/or
2. via a second account global?
Cheers
You can send inf, inspirations, enhancements, and salvage to any global name, and that global will be able to get them on any of their alts, no matter the server, as long as it's hero-hero or villain-villain. -
Quote:*grins* And now that Issue 17 is going live, you'll be able to email it to me.

It is wrong that I really like the idea of Jazz Duck, and now want feather textures in the game?

Another great month of art, and congrats to JK, and the rest as well.
As for the monthly winner....I've been pondering alternate stuff for a while now, and I think I know how I might do it were I to run it, but this is your go-round, Wassy, and the immunity thing was a part of the contest when it started this year, so I think we're kinda locked in, unless it's a unanimous change.
And for immunity, I usually forget who it was anyway.
(Not that it matters, but my thoughts have been leaning towards no eliminations and keeping a running total all the while, so people could miss a month's submittal and still be in it, not eliminating them for just being busy one month. I think it might get more art to look at, which is good, and reward the most consistent for the whole time.) -
Definitely communication is the key. Normally that first combined reference is enough.
But you may want to use photoshop or paint or something and add some notes to a larger pic, like colors, style of cape, brooch, pictures of any real life stuff that looks the same as a costume bit you use (boots, etc).
I've not gone far enough to do this, but if you could pick out the color code from photoshop for each piece, there would be absolutely no question of getting the right shade of whatever color it is. -
That's actually supposed to be a Ms. Frost, as in my ice controller <shudder> as opposed to Frost's main, who has a different look, but a similar name and power set.
Now someone with some time and talents could work up a photo-shopped pic with the original characters and paste it below the screenie Bubba had as a comparison.
And that elbow and head was some guy that wouldn't move. -

Nice work!
Shoggoth kitties sound kinda.....dangerous. -
Thanks very much for taking the time to do this, Tony! I wasn't able to attend and was curious, and I certainly appreciate your work in editing this to post here.

Very nice!! Great job on the vid.

Quote:I realize that we open up the voting to everyone that has an active account.
Can we make an execption for the last vote.
Not that I disagree with his vote but his explanation is so inflamatory...it makes me just fume.
Yeah, someone had a burr in their saddle, apparently. -

Quote:I say the little elf dude in the Ski Chalet... what does he do with all those candy canes anyways??
Or Waldo... think about it, no one ever sees him coming... until it's too late.
So...Waldo's kinda like the Spanish Inquisition? -

Thanks Stoney and Steiner and all the gang for keeping up with this program. I'm sure I speak for a lot of people when I say we really appreciate your work. The Mids program has become a must-have for many people, and I know I'd hate to not have it available, so I'm glad you all are piloting this ship.

I have two comments:
1. Well done! I'm enjoying them.
2. Avatea has a sexy voice. -

That's not a Turkey Lurkey commission!
And part the third is being formatted in my brain.
I think my most memorable moment was already mentioned - when several artists volunteered their time and talents to fill in for unfilled commission pieces several of us had paid for. I honestly welled up a bit when I was told that two great people would do my two just because they cared enough. And they really don't know me from Adam, save from what they see on these forums.
While not specifically *a moment*, I really enjoy seeing all the artist here and watching them progress. I've gotten some early on commissions from some folks, and seeing their latest stuff, I'm just amazed. I wish I had the talent to do that. -
Quote:Well, considering that it only serves to remind us that we only had TWO issues in the last year, I'd say not very. If you're going to completely drop the ball and not follow through on promised schedules ('scuse me, "stated goals"), you should get more subtle on it.
Especially since it's been:
i14: Architect
i15: Updated Architect
i16: Nerfed Architect
i17: Still playing with Architect
and just announced ... "we're adding more development resources for Architect!"
So happy anniversary. I'm going to party like it's 2008, because for a lot of the game it still is.
Be of good cheer! -
Some of my favorite memories:
FINALLY(!) getting that Master of Statesman's TF.
In game friend and I forming our SG.
Finding some of "those discoveries" that some know about and others don't know of. -
When in doubt, join Pinnacle. All the cool kids are there! It was pretty full and laggy during the event last night, but normally is nicely in the middle of the pack.
And by middle of the pack, I mean 6-pack. -
I'd like to point out that he'd better say something this week so I'm not out a cool million!
