Another day, another handful:
1. Ben Hur. Worth it just for the chariot race. The rest is great, too. Epic movie.
2. The Professional. Jean Reno as a paid assassin.
3. Ong-Bak. Nice martial arts flick.
4. The Road Warrior. Early Mel Gibson action movie, which led to sequels.
5. Dr. No, Goldfinger, etc. Bond. James "awesome" Bond. -
Ray, when someone asks you if you're a troll, you say "YES"!

Quote:They do note that new!Hami is significantly better than old Hami. He mentions that there a problem with people leeching HOs off the raids. Was he just throwing more fodder on the fire, or was that an actual problem?
Was, and still is, a problem. I've done both the older style and the revamped, and it's always been an issue. Probably worse now that the zone cap is 50. And if you happen to DC near the end, someone outside can take your spot quite easily, even though you've put in the effort.
I've long supported some changes to fix this. Like the raid leader being able to give some sort of "token" to the people in the zone when the raid starts so that they are the only ones that can get in once it's underway, or an instanced raid, which would be accessible through the base's raid transporter or some such, so that you'd have to be on a team with someone in that group to even be able to get there. -

More since it's another day:
1. Hart's War - Bruce Willis and Colin Farrell in a WW2 prison camp.
2. Three Days of the Condor. Robert Redford on the run. Speaking of, I assume you've seen The Sting. If not, go see it. Now. I'll wait.
3. Awakenings. Robin Williams and Robert DeNiro. And speaking of DeNiro, Ronin and Men of Honor are worth the watch, too. And for Robin Williams, check out Jakob the Liar, Dead Poets Society, and Mrs Doubtfire (worth it just for the Run-by fruiting bit!)
4. Schindler's List. Probably seen it, but just i case... -

I can understand the need for a little gift for the new folks, and I hope this works, and brings in a lot of them.
That said, I am a completist, as far as expansion packs go for this game. I have them all. I bring this up because I think, from a NCSoft financial standpoint, the thing to do is not to offer these goodies as a vet reward down the line. I think the thing to do is offer the goodies as a purchasable pack when GR comes out. I know a lot of people who would buy it for the same reason I will. IOW, don't give it away for free when people will throw money at you to get it.
Also, I'm not in Europe, but I have had Belgium chocolate, French wine, and German beer. As this makes me an expert, I'd like to ask that this pack be made available to purchase outside the NA area so that the folks who produce those cool things will remain happy and continue to provide us with them so we can satisfy our various vices. And since I've bought these items, and others, from our European friends, I do know that monetary transactions can easily be made over these wondrous interwebs. If you don't do this, I will pout. And no one wants that.
(Plus Black Pebble already cost me a million inf, so you all owe me big time!) -

Yay! Got em all!! (I'm pretty sure.)
Those are nifty-keen! Nice job.
Spoilers (in dark so it'll be easier to not see if you wanna guess, unless you're a red-sider - highlight to see 'em):
Row 1: LJ, Soul Train, Jugg
Row 2: Kat, Bayani, Deebs
Row 3: Rowrsie, TA, Suichi! -
A few more you may well have seen, but worth mentioning just in case:
1. The Usual Suspects.
2. L.A. Confidential. Good cop, bad cop, ?? cop.
3. Reservoir Dogs. Bang, bang, bleed, bleed.
4. El Mariachi. Led to Desperado and then Once Upon a Time in Mexico
5. A Better Tomorrow. John Woo and Chow Yun-Fat, et al. Bang bang! More earlier Woo/CYF films I liked were The Killer, Once a Thief, and Hard Boiled.
6. Touch of Evil. Orson Wells directed, wrote, and co-starred. Crime and Police Corruption galore. A great panning non-stop single tracking camera scene in this one. -
Very cool!
I think she tastes like Key Lime pie, but that may just be wishful thinking. -
Wow! Very nice!
I was just thinking the other day that I'd not seen a Doug piece in a while...
Congratulations! -
A couple of my recommendations:
1. North by Northwest. One of Alfred Hitchcock's finest, IMO. Great film, and on my "must watch" list.
2. Saving Private Ryan. War is hell, but this movie is great. I try to watch this each Memorial Day if I can.
3. Any and all of the Peter Seller's Pink Panther movies.
4. Seven Samurai by Kurosawa. In fact, many of his are as great, like Yojimbo, Ran, Sanjuro, etc.
5. Near Dark. IMO, the coolest vampire movie of all time, and I've seen about all (except the teeny-bopper emo kid ones that are the current fad). -
Quote:Ooh, one last one.
6. A Fish Called Wanda - In my opinion about the funniest movie of the 80's (1988 to be specific), Python members John Cleese and Michael Palin are joined by a riotous Kevin Kline and Jamie Lee Curtis in a hilarious story of a diamond heist gone slightly wrong.
And Fierce Creatures, the follow-up with the same cast (different characters, however). -

Quote:And buying from these sites can cause cancer, you guys forgot to mention that!!
I love these threads the best! The same people that violate the EULA, telling people not to do things that will violate the EULA!
loL pERfecT!
This makes absolutely no sense.

Heheh! I hope he keeps plugging away, and has fun with it most of all!

I'd grab the mantle of Statesman, then try to do well enough to make everyone forget that other guy....ole' whatsisname.

I believe that's one of your OpenGL files. I'd try making sure your video drivers are up to date and see what that does. If you've not ever updated them that could be an issue.
I'd suggest reading over this thread and seeing if you can get the solution there.
You might post the results of the Helper program found here.
That may tell us a bit more about the system.
Edit: Here's the link to the HijackThis program. You might run it as well and post the results here. -
Happy Biday!
(But I thought he was no longer here?) -
Very cool! I like the little imp/Rikti monkey there!
