I just can't believe they had an opportunity to add new assets to the game and chose to add a warehouse. It boggles the mind they thought we needed a new warehouse.

So it's Statesman. How many Statesmans do we have in the game now?

SR on a Scrapper is easy to softcap. SR on a Stalker is stupidly easy to softcap. SR is the most underrated secondary available to Stalkers. Ninjitsu gets all the glory, but SR will survive situations Ninjitsu crumbles under. Not that Ninjitsu isn't a perfectly good set, it is. It's just that SR is every bit the set Nin is and is rarely acknowledged for it.

Concentrating on getting your level shifts is going to give way more survivability than anything else you can do. Given all the ToHit the mobs in those iTrials can throw around, I don't consider the new softcap something worth going after. And a single 9CU that's been on the map too long is still going to blow you (and anyone else) away.
I'm glad SR has a new trick other sets will be hard pressed to replicate (new softcap) though. -
The best use would be to purchase a recipe (any recipe) that you're actually going to use.
The second best use would be to save up with other Alignment Merits to get high value recipes to use or sell.
The third best use would be to take a random roll. 1 level 35-39 roll is worth an average of approximately 70 million inf. 100 million if you craft. That's an average and you can get as much as 200 million inf or as little as 100k, so it's risky but can pay off. Are you a gambling man? -
Locking soloists out of the top-tiers of the system is a bad idea. Very bad.

Are you thinking of Stan & Lou?

Mids protip: Options>Configuration>Effects & Maths>Suppression>Check "Attacked" in the list. Now your Defense values should be accurate when Hide is active but you're being attacked and you don't have to do it manually anymore.

What's the point of multiple currencies again? lol
Gratz. Rats off to ya! -
This is a necessary evil to keep the show from becoming the moan fest that Heroes was. They're trying to keep the show light, a bit tongue-in-cheek with a bit of light drama. If there is to be a second season, adopting a more Silver Age attitude of "we don't kill our enemies" might serve them better, as the current approach is problematic, as you noted.

Quote:I like to call it, as inspired by South Park, the "No Life Principle". You cannot kill that which has no life, meaning you cannot stop your top-end players from blitzing through your content.Basically it's not confirmed from Posi himself but everyone reckons that the reason for the change in salvage was to stop people who had horded shards/notices/favours from blitzing through the system on day 1 and coming out with very rares.
It didn't actually work though since it didn't really slow people down
The multiple currencies failed to do their job. As expected. -
Quote:For the soloist, the Inf costs are not a concern at all. If you defeated enough mobs to get that many Shards, you've got more than enough Inf. You're probably generating something like 10 million Inf per Shard that drops, at minimum.I guess we have different definitions of unrealistic, but I think solo content taking one thousand times longer is a little unrealistic. Even before considering people running trials don't have to spend any money, while solo players have to spend several billion. More money than one character can even hold.
The glacial pace of solo Incarnating is the real issue. I'm doing it on one character, but yeah, you kind of have to just forget about the shinies and run a character because you enjoy playing them. You do get to do a variety of things in game at least, unlike the iTrials.
What I didn't expect is what the OP is showing. The teamed conversion path being 100 times slower than the iTrials. That's just plain wrong.
The solo and teamed conversion paths need a buff. They seriously need it. -

Why do people bring /Nin to PvP? It ain't the Defense. The heal? Regen and Willpower do it better. Trops? Useless. Placates? Useless. Wastes umpteen slots/set bonuses on KB resist. Psi Resist? Yeah, okay. That's one thing in its favor. Question still stands, though.

Quote:Go play an Ouro arc and see what happens at the beginning and end of a mission. Unless you've disabled it in your graphic options.I haven't seen that feature myself,so you must have been smoking something.
(Then again, I've been known to miss things right in front of me, so maybe I'm the one who's been smoking.)
Personally I find the effect bothers my eyeballs so even if people could use it, it'd be best if they didn't. Though there are interesting possibilities for some Golden Age action complete with that aged look. -
Quote:The only thing I don't like about the cast is the chemistry-free marriage between Julie Benz and Michael Chiklis. It's a bit squiky.I gave the show a chance, mostly because I like the cast (a lot). But I made the mistake of becoming invested in the characters. I was enjoying it all until the episode before the finale.
Quote:Fire guy was quite dead. He was in fire form and the sand put him out. He didn't turn back into a human - he just went away. That's why Jim was upset at the end of the episode - he did it to save Stephanie, and it was clearly self-defense, but yeah - dead.
All of the super-deaths were Disney-movie/comic book logic justified. It's ok if bad guys die due to their own villainy. -
I've held a doctorate before. My grandfather's.

Electric guy was killed by his own powers, the Powells didn't do that to him. Fire guy I don't really remember, but I think it's unclear whether he lived or not.
I don't think there's a clear cut case of the Powells ever killing someone intentionally. If the bad guys ever died, it was because of something that happened in the course of the fight that killed them incidentally. I don't see how you can pin any of it on the Powells. What are they supposed to do, not defend themselves? Super powered fights are inherently dangerous in their world. -
What I like about Bobcat is she wears tights made out of pantyhose material. I respect that.

Unfortunately Lore has one of the level shifts you need. But without the level shift I doubt most would bother with it so I can see why it was given the level shift over the more useful slots.
And yes, the #1 thing anyone should do with their rewards in these trials is go after those level shifts early and often.
