  1. I still have MoG on my MA/regen at lvl 50, just dont know if I should include it in my pvp build or not. I find it actually useful with just the default slot in it as a panic button. At least more useful than revive!
  2. Yes, I grabbed tactics a bit late and I'm now moving it earlier into the build to allow me to see stealthed foes better in Sirens.

    This is the new build with a bit of modification, slots are mostly the same, some powers have lost 1 or two while others have gained them. Powers are exactly the same, just moved around a bit.

    If I get the two auto-accolades which I'm missing now (portal jockey & TF commander) I'll have over 1750hp by default at level 50. That should be fairly good for a regenner, the recharge is there to keep heals and powers like BU and IH available as often as possible.
    The +accuracy is something I wouldnt exclude out of the build either.
    One thing I feel the set bonuses are lacking is +regen, but then, you cant have everything.

    Any suggestions for alternate sets are welcome (as long as the sets arent overly expensive, that is)

  3. Well, having both regen and invuln scrappers at 50 I believe I can compare those two equally.

    First of all, invuln:
    Pros
    -Invuln can take a load of damage, also good for taking alphas.
    -We get unstoppable which is really nice (Yay for tanking AVs!).
    -Invincibility is a great power when slotted with 3x def SOs. Also good for small teams where you can tank.
    -Dull pain is your heal and a good heal it is. Also boosts your max hp by quite a bit.
    -You resist two of the most common damage types well. 50% smashing and lethal resistance is just great.
    Cons
    -No psi resistance, I dont think I even have to say that psionic foes will pose a threat.
    -Not too good for soloing as you dont have a heal that's up every fight
    -The set doesnt provide any kind of +recovery or +end. You may end up out of end in prolonged fights


    Then regen:
    Pros
    -Soloing is easy for a regen, the smaller the mobs are the better regen is.
    -Quick recovery, need I say more?
    -Dull pain, same as invuln but it's even better for a regen. The more max hp you have the higher amount of hp you regain over time
    -From what I've heard, regen is better for pvp
    -Basically you "resist"* every type of dmg just as much so it doesnt matter what type of damage your foes have.
    Cons
    -You cant really take alphas without dull pain and sometimes may end up eating the carpet even if you have it on
    -Big hitters such as AVs will tear through your regen
    -Lack of a proper "godmode" power. MoG just isnt a godmode, more like a panic button.

    *You still regain the same amount of hp/sec be it psi, lethal, fire or any other type of damage


    That's pretty much it. May have forgotten something but oh well, I'm not completely awake yet

    That depends very much on what you want to do with the character! If you want to be a scranker / meatshield type of scrapper you choose invuln. If you want to be a generic noob you choose regen, that's the difference

    As you can see, I dont have stealth. It's not of much use. I'd replace it with flashing steel tbh. Divine avalanche isnt really worth slotting for damage, you're better off with defence set.
  7. Been looking out for info on the forums and noticed I'm most probably able to free up a slot or two.
    The first slot I could free up is the endredux in FA, 0.04 end per second or whatever it was, nothing to care about anyway.
    The second slot I'm a bit unsure about. The impervious skin which has been nerfed, yes, you read correctly, has been nerfed to 7.5% resistance from 30%. As I cant stack it with anything is there any point to save it?

    One thing, if there is no point in slotting MoG for 3x rech I could get slots free from that.

    So, what should I slot if I took a slot from resilience and FA?

  10. Bah, I need more recharge to get hasten as near to perma as possible. Having dull pain perma doesnt hurt either.

    And back on topic: do the slots / powers look fine as it is as I'd like to know that...
  11. I dont mind the lack of vertical movement really, been a superspeeder since lvl 14 and hasnt been a problem so far

    Also, I was told MoG is a must for pvp and I like having conserve. Just in case for those end sapping foes, like kin or elec.

    And Aurry, I sold that enh to buy more LotG: +rech on my main :P

    Anyway, I havent played dark armour past lvl 12 but I'd say murky cloud is pretty much a must to have.
    Powers like cloak of fear and soul transfer are debatable, both depend very much on your build and playstyle. Personally having cloak of fear, dmg res toggles, hover and aoe dmg toggles seems a bit end heavy, I'd drop cloak of fear.
    Confront is good if you want to be the psi tank.

    I just hope those slots arent serious

    What he said, a full set of red fortune costs barely anything and it has a nice +recharge bonus for having 5 pieces of the set so you still have space for that runspeed for 6th slot. If you can afford the slots of course.

    For slotting soul drain I guess it's 3x rechg and 2x acc but cant give any reliable info as my highest dark melee'er has so far been lvl 7

    Just having a look at the slotting makes me think "whoa, that's a heap of inf you need for that"

  20. Just a few pieces of advice from a 2year /invuln scrapper veteran..

    1: Dont get jump kick, get combat jumping. It takes 0.07 end per second and grants you good combat mobility. Much better than jump kick..
    2: Dont slot invincibility with tohit or taunt. Those arent really needed, rather put 3x def and 1-2 endredux
    3: Personally I wouldnt get resist energies or resist elements. And if I took em I wouldnt slot em unless I had some GOOD sets to put into them. Rather have aid self than 2 passives tbh.
    4: On my 50 MA scrapper I can run an attack chain of storm kick, CaK, crane kick, Eagles claw. No need for thunder kick, can replace that with focus chi
    5: I would take tough hide instead of super speed at 49, you can put a LotG +rech in it

    2: the recharges in toggles help because you will run out of endurance but popping a few blues helps because the toggles are back up again!
    3: the def debuff in attacks is also useful because I couldnt afford any accuracy or damage in the attacks so you hit the foes more easily

    As you can see, I've invested a lot of money into set IOs. This helps me quite a lot as now with hasten my dull pain only has a 10 second downtime, my attacks (and build up ) recharge faster, end recovers faster and CE is available more often.
