  1. Problem is that I havent PvPed much and dont know which pvp zone will be the best for me... I reckon it'll either be RV or Sirens. Not that fussed about free-for-all fights.
  2. I dont find being travel powerless as a SR scrapper bad at all. I spent a couple of mil on some IOs and I'm actually running 72fps without travel powers, which IMO is quite nice. Especially considering it's unsuppressed movement!

    Just saying that a build is unplayable / not so good / something like that isnt an insult towards you. You make a build, be ready for people crushing it with criticism.

    Not an expert on builds? Well, I'd still ask you why to put multiaspect HOs in acrobatics which only benefits from the end cost reduction aspect of that enhancement? You dont have to be an expert to notice things like that.

    Also, slotting attacks as a damage dealer for only 1 or 2 damage enhancements, zero to 1 accuracy and defence debuffs is quite, well, stupid. Even from a non-expert.

    What I'm trying to say, you should first look at what you are going to do as a scrapper, then do the slotting. Also, check which powers need slots and which dont rather than put a few slots in each power and then slot 1 of each enh you can put into them.

    In general, use the search function (however gimped it is) and have a look how other people build their claws/regen scrappers and then modify those builds to your own likes.

    There's a claws/regen guide done by FireKitty somewhere on the forums and a claws/regen discussion going on on this page of the scrappers sub-forum.
  6. Mh, getting different information everywhere! Some people promote tactics and others promote fear... Tbh, I dont think I will actually need fear that much if I replace MoG with cobra. Next thing is, what shall I move to 47 to get cobra available earlier?

  8. Currently I'm nearing 50 on my spines/SR scrapper and have had a nice journey here so far. I'm nearly lvl 47 now and that's when I'm going to respec into my 'final' (more or less) build.
    I have 2 options of a build currently... But before that I'll clarify a few things.

    [1] It's currently meant for PvE. That's why there is no focused accuracy.
    [2] I have no intents on getting IOs (apart from the basic IOs) for this build. I'm IOing another toon currently so all my inf is focused there.

    A few questions for more experienced SR players:

    [1] Is it possible to perform well without a 'proper' travel power? As in playing with swift (2x runspeed), quickness (2x runspeed), sprint (2x runspeed), hurdle (1x jump) and CJ (1x jump).
    Dropping SJ would allow me to get FA in the build.
    [2] Getting FA into the build... I know it is a useful power (already having 2 lvl 50 scrappers with it) but will it kill my end bar, running 3x SR toggles, quills and FA? Also, where should I take the slots to get good effect off of it?

    If you want to team and occasionally solo: spines are your friend... Hear them calling for your name?
    If you're a solo player: just take broad sword.

    Then we could go down to secondary effects etc. but it's easier to look at sets the way I put them. I think.

  12. The title pretty much says it... But the big question is, tactics or intimidate? I know I wont be able to see all stalkers with just FA and tactics so should I take tactics at all? Also, if I take tactics should I rather get maneuvers and stick a LotG: +rech in it?

    Actually the enemy has 5% chance to hit you as that's the lowest you can debuff their acc / chance to hit you.
    And that's also for even level foes... A +1 will have also 5% chance to hit you, +2 will have 11%, +3 will have 17% etc.


    Oh, one more thing... Can you post a katana/invuln build with all passives, toggles, tough, weave, CJ / hover slotted to the maximum? :P
    And a build like that which would work...

    There's just no point in debating how much resistance/defence you can have if you cant have a working build with those values
  15. Cant light a tar patch I'm afraid.

    If you want a patch you can light, get trick arrow secondary. The power oil slick from trick arrow can be lit

    Also, for lighting ninjas is just good enough. Your lvl 26 pet has fire attacks including a few aoes that will light it.

  19. Heh, might go for that. I mostly put up the numina / miracle combo there to get more +regen and +max hp from set bonuses.
    The more +hp I have the better the +regen set bonuses will be.

    The +recharge might be nice... But should I sacrifice 1.88% max hp / 6% heal / 12% regen to get 5% recharge?
  20. I could get the inf. Just farming for a week or two Katie Hannon and lvl 50 mishes with arcane mobs in them...

    The 3 power slots would be nice, of course. It'd also free up 6 slots (of which 2 would go to sprint for the movement [or more?]).

    So basically, I could with those 4 slots left get MoG slotted as it should be, 1 more tohit in tactics... And maybe something else too...

    I'd still rather avoid the most expensive IOs which these +recovery ones are!

    If you could get up a sample build I'd like to have a look at it

    IIRC there isnt an attack in this game which wouldnt root you...

    On the other side of things, AR does have the longest animation times in the whole game :/

    You couldnt really ask them to remove the root, but I think it would be justified to shorten the animations.

    The MoG part, I could free up 2 slots to put in it to get the 3x defence (or alternatively, lotg +rech, lotg, def and a regular def IO) to cap the defence AND get the +recharge.

    For the SJ part, if I want in hasten, fear, fitness and tactics there really isnt space for SJ... Except for switching it with SS :/

  24. First of all, I'd drop jump kick for combat jumping. Mobility &gt; a crappy attack anywhere.

    I'd try to squeeze in stamina a bit earlier, hasten can be later in the build as can be dark regen. Change dragons tail and eagles claw around, you want your bighitter at 32 for exemping.

    That's about it for the powers... Might look at the sets a bit later
