  1. I'd have to say the "best combos" for stalkers (later on you'll probably want to respec for PvP and you cant change your sets) are:

    Energy melee
    Dark melee
    Martial arts
    Spines


    Combined with

    Yeah NB is an OK set before you take in account lethal resistances that most of the high lvl NPCs and nearly all of the PvP players have. Also if you take in the stalker damage modifier you are looking at MUCH lower damage figures than scrappers.

    I mean, WHAT THE HELL is up with my gambler's cut (lvl 42) doing 50 damage on +2 enemies even when it has 3 damage SOs in it? That is gimped big time. My lvl 20 blaster does more damage to +2s with DOs.. :/

    Also, golden dragonfly does approximately 150 damage on +2s, on my scrapper the number is 300'ish (granted, he is level 50 but still, 150 damage difference??)

    As you can notice, it comes with a neat 32.5% recovery (for some reason Mid's planner doesnt show Numina's and Miracle +recovery enhs, missing 25% recovery from set bonuses), 18% psi def and 21.5% psi def, 41% acc (meaning no FA needed), 47.5% rechg (WOOT! Perma dull pain ) and also 256% regen (which is 25.7hp/sec with dull pain).

    Quite a nice build which doesnt have problem with end, psi damage or -rechg. Works for me perfectly.

    I have a few AoEs, aid self and permanent 2.4k HP with which I can tank quite effectively.


    You might want to try this build on test but you dont have. I just recommend this because it's the best ever build I've had on this character and I've been playing him since I3
  8. Have you set up a weekly time for this? The only times I can nearly 100% guaranteed be on are Friday and Saturday evenings.

    Other than that I only got about 10% def against melee or S/L
  11. Oh, I was quite sure you said at one point you had 90% res to S/L.. Could be that I'm wrong though

    Anyways, you got fury and you do S/NRG damage... I got 46%'ish res to S/L and about 20% to NRG. You have a slight advantage there with EM doing more dmg/hit even out of resistances.

    Yes, with this new information I'm quite sure this is the formula for calculating a foe's chance to hit you:

    (50% + Rank Modifier + Level Modifier + ToHit Buff + Def Debuff on You - ToHit Debuff - Your Defence) * Acc Modifier

    Rank Modifiers listed up there somewhere.. Shannon gave level modifiers... Acc modifier can be found out, easy to fill it in.

    It is a known value, somewhere around 300% or so if I remember correctly. It's not one that really matters in this game though.

    Any minion up to +5 has a 50% chance to hit you, but different ranks have different accuracy modifiers. For example AVs have a 1.5 acc modifier so you can only 'cap' your defence to them at 43.5%, meaning they have a 5 * 1.5 = 7.5% chance to hit you.

    So, how do you explain that higher level foes hit my SR scrapper more often than lower lvls? By this I mean lvl 54 foes hit him more often than lvl 50 foes.

    OK then - as far as I can remember this is possibly the order in which I took powers up to level 27 - I can't be sure of the slots but I imagine I would have gone something like they are here - although thinking about it I'm sure I have more in Jab for speed and disorient but until I log in I can't check.

    Anyway - this is as close as I can get at the moment - I went with the basics for resistance and cranked up the attacks early on and I was out of Mercy Island and polishing my raptor pack in Port Oakes very quickly. I recommend Temp Inv no later than level 6, and maybe even level 4 (in which I 'd take Punch to start and take Haymaker at 2 - those two with Brawl on auto will handle the snakes) because by the time you want to fight in the streets of Fort Cerberus you don't want to be faceplanting and having to run all the way back from the hospital at Fort Darwin Apart from that this has got me through the early part of the PVE game without many visits to the hospital and been fun along the way.

    I'd get unyielding at lvl 16 when it's available

    Get swift at lvl 12, unyielding at lvl 16 and dull pain at 22. That would be the order for my SS/inv brute.

    I think I might be interested to join.. Most probably as a dual swords/dark scrapper though. Might give willpower a try if it looks interesting enough and if I can put up a story for a DS/WP toon.
