To Smurch: I never said Villains don't get involved with Paragon(heck I wish they had more involvement)What I meant was the way this scenario is presented Villains have no reason to be involved.
To Tyrant Monkey:
I didn't know about that.
However I don't think it would be a good idea to implement because then it's the same team up to save the world and be a good guy stuff that's been pissing off redside players. -
I* killed her when I was helping Recluse gain power in the Isles.
*You can replace I with the name of any Villain character that has done the Mender Tesseract Story. -
I play mostly Redside because I enjoy the AT's more. I've been playing this game since one week after launch though. So I do know what the Blueside has to offer.
IN regards to the PvP stuff your right they are emptier than they used to be,which is because of the changes made to PvP in I13. So while a Villain may never have to actually PvP(which was always true in regards to the badges) they do have to deal with the PvP power changes while working on a mostly PvE goal.
This is a problem in design.
Generally your right that Redside does complain too much, however I think most of it is warranted and some of the most common complaints have had very little done to address them.
The Cuda SF is a good sign though. Considering how it looked in Beta and how it looks now. -
Really Heroes have Accolade missions not in Ouroborous?
Or did you mean the Safeguard stuff that serves no ingame purpose for Heroes?
So tell me how many Hero Accolades require the Hero to go into a PvP Zone?
Villains largely got screwed with Accolades.
But why would you care about that hmm? -
While I like this idea, there is no reason for the Villains to get involved. The Rogue Isles are a fair distance away from Paragon City.
Although I could see the villains poking this thing with a stick to get it riled up and move towards Paragon. -

I always fel tthe easy solution for Verandi's arc is to switch it from Hardcase to Ice Mistral. She is definitely more connected than your villain is at that point and she's a total brat anyways, so it wouldn't be out of character for her to yell at and threaten your villain (as for why she would care about the fate of St. Martial, you could say she is acting on Scirocco's orders.)
[/ QUOTE ]
Now that makes sense. -
Have you ever been in an AE building while zombies were attacking?
Have you ever been on an AE building terrace while Zombies were attacking? -
So tell me how many Elite Bosses does your hero fight before level 10?
How many AV's are in the Positron TF?
How often do heroes run in to confusion powers?
How many NPC's that heroes fight use Placate?
At what level do Heroes encounter -res?
Overall the content Villain side is harder.Yet they consistently get less merits.
Risk vs Reward my foot. -

Risk vs. Reward

Too bad this metric is useless when it comes to Merits
Case in point Villain Merits vs Hero Merits. -
One thing that really pissed me off with hardcase is by the time I Ran his missions I had already done missions for Magus Mu'Drakan , The arbiter next to him, Ice Mistral SF,Seer Marino,Kalinda as a starting contact As well as the Operatives in both cap and Sharkhead.
Frankly I was better connected than Hardcase so his threat was entirely empty. -

I would get in touch with the Praetorian me but he's stopped returning my calls. -

I had anad <10 level AE farm.
After the first 5 mins the smart ones amongst us exited the AE farm and went back to the good old Mercy Island Bank Farm.
20 minutes later we had gained 3 levels and moved to Port Oakes. -
On the Quickness alternate that sounds fun and reasonable.
Basically +movement. Which I think is minor enough to not be game breaking.
As far as I know Power Boost does boost defense values.
It would also boost Sha and I think it will also boost Blinding Powder.
As for the set itself
Smoke Bomb should probably be the same one from Blaster devices.
the +movement power seems fine to me.(and it would replace caltrops)
No reason to remove Blinding Powder
That should be it.
Although I still don't want to see /Nin proliferated. -
Firstly no, Scrappers just got anew set Shields that stalkers didn't. Why should Scrappers get /Nin besides the reason that you want it?
Second Quickness should not be included in this set no matter what. There are 4 sets in the game with Quickness SR,ElA,Soldier Training(before branching),Widow Training(before branching) All of those sets lack a self heal which I believe is the trade off. Nin having a self heal should not have Quickness on top of it. -
Currently the MM power seems to be bugged.
With that in mind Keep fighting off the 5th ambushes as best you can eventually they will stop. At that point you can focus on Reich.
Use everything at your disposal to bring him down while his Unbreakable is recharging. -
I don't want Nin ever ported either.
So I point at shields and say to the other At's well you have those and we don't so we see no reason to give you what we have. -
QR
I'm fine with Stalkers not having shields.
and when the other AT's cry about wanting Ninjitsu we can be all like "Well you got shields and we didn't so there's no reason for you to get Nin"
Although I don't think there are any intentions of having Nin Proliferated anywhere. -
That was changed throughout the patches.
There are still a few problems with the story but beyond the initial concept of being hired for a job, there wasn't much patsying/lackying in the SF. -
I don't understand why the stalker version of the melee set gets the tier 3 from the other version as a tier 7.
Why does the Stalker version not have slime?
For the armor set
Why is the Stalker version missing the self heal?
As most sets have 1 or 2 weaknesses what is this sets weakness I didn't notice it looking through the armor. -
Which was admitted to be from lack of foresight.
-
I don't see the need either doesn't mean I can't balance out a potential version.
-
Market prices are not a measure for balance.
Which is why I said 10% -
Those would be nice to have.Though I think they get lumped in with Heal sets.
-
The thing is with 20 that's 1 in 5 defeats that you get rezzed
maybe 10% would be better the trick is to keep this inline with other rez powers and I think 20% for this particular ability is too far.
as for taking up a spot it could be
%chance to rez/Def(res)
like how the LOTG 7.5 is 7.5 and defense
