  1. That sounds nice but Some new accolades would need to be added to Villains for Parity. It wouldn't feel right if Villains couldn't get the same bonus power however weak it may be.
  2. Compared to a resistable -resist for the other sets?

    how about -20 resist and -10 defense

    all sets would feel that.
  3. Except the Hero Safeguard Accolades don't have a power bonus, so except for badge hunting purposes they're insignificant.

    In retrospect yes it's a fairly silly statement, but somehow it still conveyed my intended meaning.

    I don't feel that the numerical differences between these sets is enough to create a different play experience.

    Even worse I think Ninja Blade is superior animation wise. Although the AS animation is still an unknown factor.

    I see no reason why Headsplitter should be treated differently than Golden Dragonfly.

    Except that BS is functionally the same as Ninja blade except with different recharge/damage/end values and animation differences.

    There is nothing in the broadsword set that isn't present in Ninja Blade.

    As for BaB's description of the AS, well guess what they all look like that, wind up and then stab, like i can with Ninja Blade,Like I can with DB, Like I can with Claws.

    BS isn't going to offer much difference in play style for anyone that's used Ninja Blade.

    This is a particularly weak proliferation.
    But I guess because BS is so similar to NB it didn't need much balance wise.
  7. And this is probably why Broadsword hasn't been ported to Brutes/Tanks yet. It would require some balancing considerations whereas for Stalkers just plug it into the conversion formula and worry about 1 new animation.

    For reference Stalker conversion formula

    Taunt-&gt;Placate
    PBAoE-&gt;Assassins ____(may require animation work)
    Damage buff power-&gt;Build Up(if not already)

  12. The map you linked to is tagged as GvE

    which was refers to the Good vs Evil version of the game that was released shortly after I7 I think.

    So no the map is not recent at all.

    Although speculation that it could lead to an underwater zone is, because previous speculation was a moonbase.

  14. When the invasions were first designed this was brought up.

    It was decided that having the dropships give a badge would be unfair to a majority of the player base as most builds would have 0 chance of getting it.
  15. Actually I think Garrets weapon is closer to a Longsword. And in Deadly Shadows he used a dagger.

    I don't see any reason why Broadsword can't work thematically for Stalkers, especially compared to something like Electric Armor.

    Although I would have rather seen Ice Melee.
    I'm also a bit upset about Broadsword because I personally don't see the need for it since Stalkers already have Ninja Blade.

    Which is why I would love to see Archery and Trick Arrow ported to Corruptors.

    YEah it's not Build Up+Aim but I think it will be tons of fun and won't have the damage issue that TA/A does.
  17. This has been suggested before in the form of allowing players to use 2 auras.

    Now I don't remember the particulars of why this can't be done, I think it's because of a lack of anchor points on the characters themselves but I'm not sure.

    Consider this turnabout. A couple of weeks ago there was someone on the forums complaining about being pinned down in the Villain Base in Bloody Bay. It was so bad many players couldn't leave the zone.

    Now while you may not have been involved in those activities Heroes need to reap what they sow.

    As for the PvP nerfs themselves, Well Villains are under the same conditions. Adapt to the new changes. Heck with a second build you won't have to compromise a normal leveling build for PvP purposes.

    That would have been nice. There are a few parts of an Arachnos map where my frame rate is literally 0 while the room is loading.

  21. Sorry to get you upset, but I had actually forgotten about your post. Although there can in theory be some loop holes in your statements that would allow Going Rogue to come out the same week as I16.

    Also someone scooped you earlier in the thread.

  23. It still hasn't been denied that I16 is the synchronization patch for Going Rogue.

    As was pointed out in a different discussion I6 was not City of Villains, it was Along Came a Spider which added 3 PVP Zones to the Hero Game and included a graphical update.

    I think there's only a few missions that give temp powers but are not part of an arc as most times temps are given during arcs.
  25. Well he does run Haven House.It's one of the few places the downtrodden of Grandville can call home. I once saw Phipps yelling at one of those Destined ones. I seriously thought Phipps was going to fight them. In fact I think he was starting to make a fist then the Destined One just walked away. Phipps is a true hero.
