    That doesn't really fly though.

    Generally a Stalker will use BU and AS out of hide. The 3 secs AS takes eat heavily into build up's duration. Maybe it's cause I play a ninja Blade Stalker but the worst it would seem to do to me is guarantee I can kill certain LT's that might survive now. Oh noes I eliminated a lvl 52 Longbow Nullifier in one hit.

    It's also a consistency issue for me. As I feel powers should have a consistent base across AT's. Isn't that part of why all versions of Total Focus were reduced to the Mag 3 Stun Dominators had?
  4. Thinking about this some more, I agree with Doc Buzzards idea of increasing the range for the Crit bonus(although the theme behind the bonus was essentially a flanking bonus from D&D.)

    One other thing I would do is increase Stalker build up to a 100% Bonus instead of the 80% they have now. To this day I have no idea why that was done or why Scrappers are allowed to keep their 100% if raising the Stalkers isn't an option.
  5. The other Day I was on a team with my NB/SR.

    We were fighting lvl 54 Malta, at one point someone complained about Sappers so I said, give me a sec to wipe them out then. (The team was moving from mob to mob somewhat rapidly and charging somewhat recklessly) after that the team started giving me approximately 1 sec to isolate and eliminate threats and things went smoothly.

    Later in the same mission I ended up soloing a Boss Gunslinger which grealty impressed one of the others and i made a new friend.

    Come to think of it I was able to pull the team out of some bad spots quite often.

    I think part of the problem is that Stalker intentions run counter to Brute intentions and there are a lot more Brutes than Stalkers.

    Cause a Brute wants to charge in at full steam, whereas a Stalker wants a brief moment to get set up.
  6. Technically my Stalker functions as a healer. Aid Other and Resuscitate are heals after all. Although I should probably respec into Stimulant, it's just that I've been in teams where my lame heal has helped.
  7. As a mostly redside player that's very jaded about the merit system I'm inclined to say cry more.

    Now for some perspective, although I haven't run new posi yet, I have to ask how many Av's are in it? What lvl to the team do they con?

    Because looking at the LRSF(and yes I know a lvl 45 Sf compared to a lvl 15 SF) there are a crapton of AV's that always con above the group, it has the highest failure rate of all SF's in the game and yet it only rewards 25 merits.

    Oh look new Posi 1+2 is better rewards than RSF.

    cry more
  8. Certainly looks interesting. A couple of things though

    the order of your powers is a bit off.

    the Assassins attacks are always tier 4 not tier 3 so the set up should look like this

    1)Slice
    2)Whirl
    3)Sweep
    4)Assassins/ Reaper's Smash
    5)Build Up
    6)Placate/Confront
    7)Stride
    8)Amputate
    9)Reaper's Doom (listing doom as I like the sound of that one best)

    Next Reaper's Stride

    this is essentially a combination of Shadowfall and Cloak of Fear, now while it sounds cool and is certainly thematic I'm not sure it's an appropriate power for the Primary. This kind of thing belongs more in a secondary.

    Finally I'm not too keen on the idea of the interrupt attacks. Currently there is only 1 melee attack with interrupt on it. The Assassins attacks Stalkers get. The reason this works is because Stalkers have Hide. And seeing how these attacks would be done without being hidden it's very unlikely a character can get them off. Now I don't think the payoff in these attacks is worth it.

    Overall I like the idea though.
  9. Shoot didn't even realize it was a 5 sets
  10. I always thought T_T looked better than Q_Q

    Call it

    Was thinking in regards to IO Recipes and Crafted enhancements. Not Salvage. In fact Redside has never had problems with Arcane Salvage being unavailable or too ridiculously priced..

    Call it

    It's easier to manipulate when there's less participants. For Red side the market has gone from support of approximately 50,000 people to 150,000.

    Blue side is going from 100,000 to 150,000. THis wil lmake manipulating the market harder. People will also find it almost impossible to corner the market on items.

    Overall Red side should see an reduction in prices and blue side will probably see an increase.

    Also if you sell things on the market instead of just buying stuff you'll be able to make tons of inf.
  13. This means we won;t be seeing anymore Merge The Market threads.

    The Devs keep this up ande I won't have any overly interesting threads to read anymore.

    Very happy about the change
  14. Lol at the pic.

    Nice on August 17th
  15. That still causes a mission failure. And while the leader would be solely responsible for it, the team still suffers lower end of mission rewards because of the failure.
  16. I can actually see this being detrimental in certain situations.

    The other day I was on a team running Black Scorpions arc. For one mission we had to escort a Crey agent to a computer. The mission was filled with Malta though and after rescuing said agent a huge ambush spawned. Now this was one of those combat allies so it eagerly jumped into battle against the Malta and was very close to dying a couple of times. Most of the team had either gone down or was about too, then I had the thought to TP the guy to the computer completing the mission.

    Everyone cheered and I managed to save the mission from failure.

    With the op's idea in place, I wouldn't be able to cause mission complete and we would have failed the mission.
  17. I don't read it as Robin taking on Galcatus. I see Johnny's post more as Robin being able to fight Gorilla Grodd and Win. Which doesn't seem like too far a stretch for me.
  18. I think only 1 poster here actually disagreed with the idea. the others(myself included) have asked for some specifics about the EB and offered some general suggestions for completing the mission in question.

    I also think most of us here would offer several in depth strategies for the fight if we knew more about the situation.
  19. I'm just curious but which powersets are you running? Which Elite Boss was it? What are your difficulty settings? Did you consider using Inspirations or Temp powers?

    Because from my understanding Elite Bosses for the most part are soloable.

    EDIT: forgot to chime in on the idea,

    I have no problems with Ouro Arcs containing a warning about Elite Bosses.

  22. Generally I believe this is the consensus

    Brute = Scrapper+
    Corruptor = Defender w/Damage
    Dominator =Controller w/ damage or Blaster with controlish secondary
    Mastermind = Tank(Bodyguard mode + Expendable pets)
    Stalker = Blaster(Melee Focus/Blapper)
  23. Wyvern are very much underused, and about half of the time they could easily replace longbow in the Rogue Isles.
  24. For my main, the game was "beat" after I completed all the 40+ arcs. Most particular was the completion of the Patron Arc though.

    After that I effectively beat the game. And so Far I've actually only beaten the game once. While I have another lvl50 Villain they haven't finished the Patron Arc yet.

    on Hero Side, I guess you could say the same for beating Tyrant.
  25. And what about characters that don't run the tutorial?
    Or how about SoA's that have never stepped foot in Paragon(Mayhem's are not required to be completed for advancement)
