I have to say that this show was a lot better than I thought it was going to be.
Yes there were plot holes, but just about every TV show and movie has those.
Yes due to it being 2 episodes instead of really 1 2 hour pilot the pacing felt a bit weird, especially the switch between the 2 episodes.
But the idea of showing him as being falible, I love. you get to watch him learn as he goes. He makes mistakes, he can be killed.
The problems people have with Orwell, I have to disagree with. Orwell is known as an internet persona, with a modulated voice. Outside of vince, we see noone else who knows who Orwell is. I also noticed her mercedes didn't seem to have a license plate. Now add on that we don't know where her money comes from, havign a car like that could be just fine.
As with the start of any series, there are going to be bumps in the road, but what I saw shows a nice show that doesn't take itself too seriously, but is designed to have fun, and be fun to watch. It will be DVRd by me every week. -
I just have to wonder what the thread would look like without the stealth edits by a moderator.

Awww Man. Ocho, you are going to be missed. You have been a great person to deal with, very friendly, and knew when to come down with a heavy hand. Good luck in your new position, and hopefully you will keep playing at least!

Three weekends is just about right for me. I would probably be burned out on it by then and start ignoring it. But any shorter and it doesn't seem worth the effort to have an event at all. So I think this is about perfect.
I'm going to be very straight forward about this: The Event Is Starting Too Late This Year!
I'm sorry but being a DJ for a CoH Community Radio Station, we have had Holiday events going on for the last couple of weeks already. Yearly Events that used to be held in the Chalet. Now outside of the year that the Winter Event lasted for 2 months, usually its gone for about 6 weeks. Considering that it has a zone that is only available for this event, the amount of new players/characters fro Going rogue that do not have the event badges, and the fact that it is over most schools winter breaks, where people go on vacation, I really think the devs messed this up. It should have started earlier.
Yes there was a little problem due to I19 having to be pushed back by 2 weeks, but last week on Thursday, they did a test of it on the test server or the beta server (can't remember which) which I heard went well. They should have released it this week, or this Tuesday at the latest.
I know I will enjoy the event, and the chance to be in the chalet again, I just really wish the devs had not messed up on time frames, so SGs, Radio Stations, and others could spread out Chalet events that they run instead of cramming it all into a 2 week time frame.

Ok, so I do a monthly (R)PvP night. This month it will be held in bloody Bay on 12/7 from 10pm-1am Eastern. Roleplay is not required, but available for those that want to. These usually turn out to be a lot of fun, so come on out.
Yes I will be fighting while I DJ the show, so here is a chance to beat up poor Shecky.
