BS/SR is a lovely combo.
Anything/WP is probably good to play. Personally I found Claw/WP my most fun character to level. Its not my favourite scrapper at level 50, but it was the most fun to get there

I, personally, although I could pay in 6 month chunks easily and save myself cash, prefer to pay monthly and give NC the full subscription fee! I happed to think the game is WORTH it and gladly do without the discount.

I pay monthly so if I want to stop, I can quickly. I've never stopped my CoH/V sub though (although am thinking of skipping an issue soon so that I get enough content in one hit to keep me happy for a while, I might be getting burned out)

I'm reading it as one main toon at 50 and already 24 alts, not saying they're all at 50 but possibly more interested in what to do with the main than with the alts.

I still look for new arcs and content on my long standing 50s every now and then.

I still think it should be a random drop, and then also some merits (less than current) this means that if your random drops are bad you can still save towards a good drop, the market will still get randoms, the boring TFs will still be more rewarding for people that prefer suffering to luck and farmers dont drastically drop the amount of merits for each TF within the first few months. STF can be done in an hour, ITF 25 minutes this is already proving those two are way out of synch

Am pretty sure most Moonfires I've been on have run as long as ITFs, have done Hess fast once on a TF race at Brighton but even then it wasn't much shorter than an ITF.

LGTF for me has never been that fast cause of Hami, am sure if I do enough of them it will get shorter.

Seems particularly harsh on the excellent Striga content not to incentify it

I wouldn't say Hess and Moonfire were that short if you were PUG'ing them and playing for enjoyment. They're my favourite TFs (other than STF which I will just be playing through as normal) but now the incentive is down. They dont go towards TF comander, they dont give random recipes, they just give fun. OK I'll still want to do them, will others?

Ah yes, but the fun TFs tend to give less than 1 random reward now. I think maybe you aren't allowed to have fun and get rewarded for it.

That's the problem as I see it, people aren't going to go through the bother of running a load of TFs just to sell their reward because they can now pick what they like. This may well puch the Miracle through the roof because there's all demand and no supply.

Farmers will still be making enough inf to be able to spend stupid amounts on single recipes, but now there'll be far less "oh a lucky drop" as TF rewards

Energy Torrent on a scrapper is also low mag and rarely puts any back into the knock back.

Shockwave is brilliant for scattering however, if that's what you like. My claws scrapper replaced Shockwave with Energy Torrent cause as a WP I don't want to be chasing my +regen around the map

Carni is right, even if you're solo on heroic you still get an AV

My intention will be to try and play like the merit system isn't there. I dont think it will make as big a difference as the drop rate does now (if I want inf at the moment teaming is the last thing I'd think of doing, merits will enforce this rather than change it).

I'm not fussed if someone gets 2 merits from a story arc, if I had fun doing it. If I was after earning something I'd be soloing, thats how this game goes. Team for fun, but know that you're encouraged to solo if you want gain

I would have thought a high damage scrapper with a -regen support toon would do it well. Two Illusion Rads would cover most alright, being damage and -regen and using the overlap of PA downtimes.

The key thing is just the Duo being able to take down the AVs in the TFs. I'd have thought the STF wasn't and a couple of the SSTFs maybe too tough too, but other than that if you have a DUO that can kill AVs you have a Duo that can take on TFs

I'm guessing the first build is meant to be solo (cause am sure it will end up solo anyway)

I think the game terms the self heals as regenerating your health rather than healing it. This is why scrappers and tanks take the medicine pool to get the healing badges, so I guess the IO uses the same code as the badges
