I have found my BS really lacking when it comes to AV fighting, the only one of my scrappers that seems worse off is my Spines.

I think with the DPA of BS you want to fight things you can two shot ideally, and AVs don't fit in that group

I am disappointed to discover my predictions correct on the uselessness of the selection process. I didn't Beta it cause on the whole the MA doesn't interest me, but I had a feeling that the search feature would completely devalue any good work they could put in. Its almost random whether you get a good mission from it, missions with good back story all seem to have really boring game play in them so trying to vet based on that seems futile. The one mission I did enjoy was one I clicked on due to lag and then thought "what the hell" it had fun mobs, a cunning ambush set up in it and a boss that was a devil to fight.......... on the other hand it had no story to it at all that I could tell. A star system tells you nothing, except if something is exceptionally bad as most will average out. Its brought in a new flow of content that is demoralising when you're trying to find the stuff worth doing

So Nightmarer on the 9th, me on the 10th and you on the 11th? Do we have one on the 12th too?

Cold defenders are insanely fun, I sometimes get too much into debuffing and forget Frostwork on anyone but the tank, but damn its fun. See storm has Freezing Rain right enough, but no Heatloss to go with it. I know storm came first, but it took several issues for them to correct that glaring omission

From what I've seen on STFs with a good team and a good player behind it a Fire tank without Tough can tank it, with a bad team or a bad player behind the tank the build means nothing. I think STF tests the team make up and player ability. If you're lacking in one you better have a good load of the other

Merits and being able to take a different path through the low levels and still get spellunker is all I've used Oro for. Oh and I did the content that came with it once two, except for that jade spider thingy, I need to get around to that

The Controller additions are all great though. Frost Breath is a fairly decent cone which adds even more AOE to my Illusion/Storm, Seismic Smash is excellent altogether (it's like Castle was looking at my Fire/Rad scraptroller and said "How can we make him even scrappier?") and the Power Blast cone thing, while not the strongest, makes Primal a perfect choice for my Grav/TA. They even changed the Knockback to Knockdown on it.

If you take your dark and put it against countess crey you might notice nicer results (at least my Fire/DA brute could solo her) however you'd need either a lot of IOing or indeed some purples to stand infront of most AVs I think

Granite has no ability to jump, I wouldn't play granite as a tank as most of my combat movement I do through CJ on my melee characters. I have one exception in my DM/SR scrapper which is concept based rather than powerset anyway. The rest of Granite's downsides I could cope with, but this is the MMO where you can use leaping well in combat, to decide to throw that away...............

If any changes go through for Claws I would hope they'd just be for stalkers. At the moment claws plays differently to other scrapper sets and I love the difference. Maybe if Claws was my only scrapper it would be different but I love how it feels compared to the others.

Not being the sort of person that would play a stalker I cant say whether I think the change is needed or not, but I sure as hell would resent any change to the scrapper set just because of stalkers

Well I find I only use Passive with Stay, cause defensive and aggressive mean the pets go nuts if someone attacks me. So I'd drop the other Stay's

I'd love to make a walking Oscar style character too
