Ok so I have been wanting to give the villains some much due love for a while and just got reminded of their neglect again today.
Thing is I have played very little villains. I haven't a clue what there is to do on redside. I know the obvious ones like SF's and hami raids and costume contests. What else is there that would make good events. Any ideas would be appreciated?? -

AOW promotes all aspects of CoH including PvP. I personally dont like PvP'ers due to thier aggressive dont care about others attitude. I have discovered PvP players are organizing to help each other swing matches so certain players win the prizes. Like a said PvP'ers generally lack morals! So the PvP events will now be a 1 on 1 elimination style.

Good turnout again tonight for this event. Seen a couple more new pvpr's. The winner of the Squishy event was Phalynxx and the winner of the MM event was Mechanized Enigma.
Saving half of the prize money from each event has the finals winner set to get 155 million in prize money plus my matching of 50 million which will be 205 million as a prize.
Remember also that all contestants will be put in a random jackpot for the NCSoft donated costume code, the winner of that will be announced at the end of the finals next Saturday night!

Now that I am awake and more coherant and read the OP post over again I need to change my stance somewhat. I am not a big fan of kicking people from teams. I have only done it a hand full of times, tops, in 3+ years of playing.
If you and the other person discussed and agreed on kicking them then the adult way to have done it would have been to tell them on team chat first. You would have felt like a total *** if after kicking them you found out they had a RL emergency or something and was gone that long for legitimate reasons.
An hour is an extremely unreasonable amount of time for a PUG person to be afk, especially without giving you a heads up before the TF started. However in all fairness as a team leader on a Posi PUG team (which I would never do in a million years, but anyways) I would have reiterated with everyone before starting to make sure they could commit to a possibly extremely long TF. Lets be honest here, Posi can go extremely bad with the wrong team, knowing each team member was prepared for the worst case scenario would have been a good idea.
Either way though, kicking without talking first was kinda chumpish IMHO. -

**As far as this being a "stolen" idea....Virtue has been doing runway fashion shows for years and did one the SAME day the catwalk power hit the live server. There really is no such thing as an original event for the most part, just recycled pre-used ones.
