I need to clarify something here. I am getting a lot of tells and p.m.s about "what if's". There are NO exceptions to the rules. The only rule that an exception will be made on is ventrilo. If you have a teammate who is not able to get on because they are a kid, have roommates, soldier, or whatever the reason may be I will make exceptions on a case by case basis. Those exceptions will not be on the night of a fight night. Do not message me asking the day of a fight night for that exception. I will automatically assume the intent is to use a filler and to keep it fair the answer is no. They must be made in advance. Do not ask "we want to stay on our own vent", the answer is no.
If you are late getting your lineups in, short a person, use a banned power on accident, send in the wrong lineup, someone hits the exit button on accident or any other numerous things there will be NO exceptions to the rules. No understanding of "oopsies". The only exception to any of the rules are certain rules will be allowed for the team captain you are fighting to allow an exception. For example late lineups or if you are short and they agree to go down below 3 or up above 3. Everything else is enforced as written.
I know this sounds harsh but to keep it fair and consistent across the board I have to be impartial. I can't allow for "oopsies" or there is no point in having rules. I wish people could all just be nice and all the rules would not be necessary and we could all just GG / GLHF but I have learned the hard way in past events it doesn't work out like that.
So please realize while I want this to be fun and relaxed event for even the casual pvp'r the rules are the rules. -
@criticalKat for either side however my couple of villains do not have optimum builds so no hard feelings if you would rather take someone else.

Every team plays every other team during the season. You can't very well play against yourself, so it is implied. Being it wasn't clear I will add it now.

um, sort of side note and I may have missed it in the rules. but is there any thing that states that you can or can't be on multiple teams? not that I personally plan to be. -
"Our own" is a questionable idea. We have a LOT of pvpr's that have toons on this server but play on multiple servers, especially Freedom for Pvp.
I know of several Champion teams forming though.

Most definitely. Nothing that has happened in the last couple of years has had the server in nearly the uproar it was in back in the old days. That drama was wayyyy more entertaining as well IMHO. Most of this recent drama is barely popcorn worthy.

Assuming the other team agrees. I have seen by past history that doesn't happen all that often. Saturday nights are the most populated gaming nights and when the most people are usually on. Agreeing to change it to a night where some of their team might not be able to make it wouldn't be a wise choice in some situations.

Welcome to Champion! Guys let me reassure you that dUmb is one of the best (as in integrity and good sportsmanship) pvp groups in the game.
On another note, in case the rules are not clear. If you want to start in the first matches to get maximum points allowed during the season then your rosters need to be posted on or before Monday August 30th before midnight EST to be included in the fight schedule for the first week.

I would actually agree. There are actually a lot of legitimately hurt feelings over the situation. Making light of it was intentional, especially being I have my own history in the equation. The last thing we need is more drama on top of more drama atm.

Analogy........and any time someones feelings are hurt you can bet there was some way to have avoided it. Or at very least a better effort after the fact to kiss it and make it all better.

Doesn't change the fact that the dog remember who kicked him/her and feels that they didn't deserve to get kicked.
Said dog now barks and growls at the maintenance guy every time he sees him.
People that know the maintenance guy did it just because he thought he was helping keep the park a nice place for everyone side with him.
Other dogs that were also kicked side with the kicked dog.
What we have now is a bunch of bitter dogs running around in a park that was supposedly designed for their enjoyment making a fuss.
All of it could have been avoided.
Some will argue the dog shouldn't have barked, some will argue the maintenance man shouldn't have kicked them.
Humans really are not much different. -
You really had to edit to add more sarcasm to it? I just attempted to intervene a bit and encourage some humility and forgiveness on your part. Apparently you don't see yourself as being a contributing factor to any of the drama so I am moving on. Hate the whole Universe if it turns you on...

It took three days for Bud to blow it and rage out in BMT, which lead to one o' his accounts gettin' kicked.

Me and Bud had a long talk on vent today. He apologized for some behavior and also explained why he felt the way he did. We agreed to let bygones be bygones. He is welcome back at my events, I have agreed to not talk trash about him and he has agreed to behave and not cause drama. If he doesn't do his part, that is on him.
Cobalt I hate to tell you this but there are lots of us that haven't acted very mature in regards to our fellow gamers. Myself included. You included as well. The negativity in your post wasn't necessary just now. It causes drama. We should all be able to get along and be civil to each other at least as far as channels, the forums, Community events etc. While we can pick and choose who we surround ourselves with on a regular basis, community channels, forums, events ect are supposed to be exactly that. We should be able to get along even if we don't care for each other for the sake of the community.
Someone made a very valid point today. Some of us have cliques and as leaders have followers. When we don't like each other, avoid each other, talk trash about each other as leaders of the Community we impact a lot more than just ourselves. Because you don't like me, some of your friends don't like me even though they have no reason not to. Because I don't like Bud my friends...ect. ect. Its something to consider is all I am saying.
If people can put their pride aside and reach out a hand then we as humans should be reaching back instead of expressing more hate or drama. -

Champions United was formed because of situations like this that have happened in other channels in the past. We have put in place those that I felt had the strongest grasp on the daily "in's and out's" of Champion Server. We do NOT want CU run as some others have decided to run their channels... I think the damage that was done yesterday is fixable, but it was have a long standing backlash Im sure. Please, Im going to need everyones help to get past this. There comes a time in every situation where the act of being an ******* in any given situation needs to stop, and Common sence neds to step in. I believe in defending your position to someone that is trying to impose their opinions upon you 100%. I believe in standing up for your rights, and beliefs 100%. All of you here know I will not conform to someone elses rule of thumb, BUT.... in all the issues I have ever had in the past with certain individuals on Champion server, That in no way has ever given me the right to remove them from a global channel due to a non related issue.
I think maybe we all need to erase last last night, take a min, GROW UP for a second, and think about the cascading effect our actions could have on the greater good of the entire server?

Any player can ask for prize support. That being said though they have rules as to how and when they give that support. Giving out prizes or titles in their eyes means that they are endorsing the event. They tend not to do that if paying customers are being excluded without just cause. Being causing a little drama isn't usually enough to even get a temp forum ban it certainly isn't enough to be excluded from endorsed events would be my guess. -
