Hi there all scrapper savy folks. Trying to help a player, that returned after two years, with his build. Though I am not familiar with DA at all and very little with MA this is what I came up with:

Main focus was damage output, recharge, health, res and def with fully slotted travel powers since I know he would like that. The recovery would probably need a bunch of blue insps though. I mainly stayed away from frankenslotting (except in Tough) to make this easier for him to follow. Lots of toggles, 10 in total, to make that part easier so he can focus on fighting with the clickies. Skipped taunt for the moment as I believe that it wouldnt be useful at all at this time.

Anything that should be changed or altered in any way?

Guess I should point out that I dont have very much experience on scrapping at all, just trying to help a returning friend.

Seems I been on on an elec spree lately.

Some of my heroes, I am quite fond of old school cossies and that my heroes look as heroic as possible, and usually human looking.

Elbowanna - Archery/Energy Blaster.


Evermind - Mind/Trick Arrow Controller.


Plot Thickens (Should be The Plot Thickens but "The" only shows up at some parts) - Archery/Devices Blaster.


Shade of Blue (was meant to be Shades of Blue but that was taken) - Invulnerability/Super Strengt Tanker. One of my favorite cossies for the moment, and my third to hit 50.


Womandragora - Empathy/Archery Defender


Red Five - My new main, have alternative cossies to fit her concept - Archery/Devices Blaster. My second 50 and number one badge hunter.


Yes I am a major Archery/TA fan.

Correction: The Archer channel have 240 global members at the moment, not 150-ish. All on Union.

There is a skill set specific channel for all archers and trick arrowers in Union, named Archers Channel with almost 150 members at the moment. It is also connected to the archer/ta only SG TWANG - The Wonderful Archers Network Group.

Weekly events (sort of) is the all archer team nights, currently on wednesday evenings.

All toons on Union with the archery and/or trick arrow skill set are welcome to apply and join in the RoA/Oilslick parties. Either contact me at @Crimson Fletcherette or ask any bow user you bump into to forward a message in the channel for invite.

The temp bow only is not valid for entry for the moment.

I'm also there, middle left stairs, red cossie with yellow boots and my gun drone hovering just by.

Was like five years of combined lag, but great fun. Got 5 AV/GM badges and was only in from about 20.00 cet until it was over. Thanks NCSoft, I enjoyed it even though I missed about half of the event.

Have 57 gigabyte of Fraps-takes to edit up now and put online.

Not being so familiar with MMO's I must say NCSoft does an amazing job keeping players up to speed. At least compared to AOC (which is the only other MMO I played) where we were mostly left in the dark for about 6 months from release. I am fully satisfied with feedback from the team. Thanks from one happy camper for being a responsive company.

Congratulations to the winners.

Not gonna convince you to stick with your archer if you don't enjoy it, above all the game should be enjoyable. But if you feel that it might be something in that archer after all and you are on Union you are most welcome to join the Archer channel and our all archer teams that we do about once a week.

For the moment we are almost 200 bow users in the channel, though not all play these days of course, but at most times there is between 15-30 in so you can always get tips, ideas and other help.

On my main archer/devices I rarely solo but this is somethings I would to do, pull out the Auto Turret to help take some aggro, if they get to close I lay down Bonfire (from the Flame Mastery Epic Pool) pointblank to send them flying. Target hardest enenmy in mob, Aim, RoA, ExpA, BlazA (if boss still alive Snap and Aimed as follow up), some might be close enough for Fistfull and if so that into them while AT also shoots at them, after that there should only be a few stragglers left, if any at all.

If you have caltrops (I don't) you can chuck out those infront before Aim.

On a regular team I be sure to trigger RoA just when tank and/or scrapper rush in, most often don't have AT out since it's range is not good enough and I am way back at Aimed Shot range.

Target Drone and Cloaking Device the only (for me) full slotted, with AT on second place. I find that flying/hovering makes targeting RoA easier for me, you could try that if you feel that is awkward in some way.

Lastly I would say: Spam RoA as often as you can, even though there is only a few left, it is back so fast that overkill doesn't really matter. I can't help but letting off a wry smile when once in a blue moon another type of blaster fires of their nuke, then they have to catch their breath in the corner.

Hmm, this became longer than I intended, well anyway, if you want to have your archer out for a spin and is on Union you are most welcome to join the arrow fiestas that for the moment take place on wednesdays evenings.
