"Abrâr, the time to act is now!", she yelled out...
"YES!" Patsy cheered when she witnessed the explosion drop Priest like a lead balloon! "Gotcha, you holy git!"

Discarding the spent weapon, Patsy checked to ensure she still had the other rocket and the grenade launcher on her and was about to launch herself out of the lift shaft when she witnessed the flash. It was out of the way and the remaining walls at the base of the shaft blocked off most of it, but it still made her flinch a little.

The immortal sighed and launched herself into the air once the flash was gone, getting a good view of the battlefield and getting a good look at the lady trying to heal the holy man. Upon landing onto the charred ground just out of the shaft, Patsy swung the grenade launcher around her waist and took aim.

"And we'll have less of the flashing in public, missy." She said, assuming she was the one who just tried to blind everyone at the time and pulling the trigger to launch one of the void grenades. If they did what she had expected them to do, they wouldn't do anywhere near the damage they would do to a Nictus. Just knock her on her backside at least.

Though she wouldn't mind doing her a complete cripple job right now, she thought, but she had more important matters to deal with.

Once the debris stopped tumbling down into the shaft, Patsy stumbled once more into it, her balance knocked to hell by the unexpected explosion.

"The piggin' hell's goin' on up..." she ranted before looking up. "...THERE!"

The immortal then flung the grenade launcher behind herself, opting to grab one of the rockets instead and point the thing directly up, where she spotted the airbourne lift above.

"This is gonna sound corny as flip, but... say hello to my little friend!"

And then she opened fire, sending the rocket screaming toward the lift.
  3. In the lift, right before Priest pulled it out.

Whether the fields erected by the short girl loosened the madwoman's grip on Tomb, or not, Damsel wrapped her arms around the little girl and disappeared into the back of the elevator, looking skywards through the open emergency hatch to see her husband.

    ((Written with CB))
It had taken all of a few seconds for Patsy to click that her hands felt empty and look back to find that the girl she had pinned to the wall was no longer there, but when she did...

    "Why you LITTLE!!"

Now the immortal was furious. And looking right at the lift as it flew beyond its designed boundaries and away from the plant. Though she rushed into what remained of the shaft and took aim at the escaping box with one of her rockets, she soon found herself showered with debris before she could even get a clear shot, forcing her to retreat back inside.

"Idiots..." she hissed. "Flamin' dipsticks the lot of yous!"

    She flashes Patsy a smile.

“I’d really like to be put down please and it would be a good idea if you did, because frankly I’m terrified enough to wet myself right now.”
Knowing she would soon be on the receiving end of opposition, Patsy swung the grenade launcher into her free hand, a wild guess hopefully bringing her aim straight at the oncoming Damsel.

"Back off, girl scout!" the immortal barked, her grip on Tomb tightening a bit more in order to shut her up. "I'm in a foul mood right now and I'm not afraid to use it!"
  6. Patsy was going for Tomb's throat, by the way, not Damsel's. I probably should have made that clearer.

"What.. the..." Patsy muttered as soon as she heard the new woman screaming 'Freeze!'. Quickly realising there was an attack coming her way, simple blind instinct pushed the immortal to rush herself to try and grab the girl by the throat to pin her to a nearby wall before the cone struck, without even realising she didn't have anything to worry about thanks to the pyromaniac that turned up in the nick of time. "NO YOU DON'T!"

She’s trembling and white with fear, looking around with wide scared eyes. She spots Patsy.

After numerous boots and acquiring a sore foot in the process, Patsy abandoned all hope with the North door and turned to try one of the others. That was when she spotted the girl, listening to her panicked offer and suggestion once the girl eventually spotted her.

"Hate to break it to you, kid," Patsy sighed, folding her arms as she slowly approached the girl. "But my only ride out of here's kinda gotten itself merged with a cliff."

The immortal then noticed another entry into the room and cast him a wary glance before returning her attention to the girl again, an expression of distrust forming on her face.

"That and I think all hell's decided to break loose upstairs, so it's not like we're gettin' out of here any time soon, I reckon. Then there's you, kid, comin' out of nowhere, hauling that thing with you and makin' a desperate offer for me to get you out of here, which kinda rings a few alarm bells, ya knaa?"

Patsy reached the girl, cast the new guy a cautionary glance and - arms still crossed - looked down upon her dominantly.

"So. Tomb, right?" said Patsy, taking something of an educated guess. "What's in the bag that's so important you can't leave it behind and lighten some load off you? Oh aye, and what's this god killer you're so scared of and all?"

  11. E4, Below the plant...

Patsy glanced upward, where all the racket came from, squinting as a few specks of dust threatened to get into her eyes. The immortal the place her hands on her hips as she let out a midly irritated sigh, then stormed over to the lift to shout upward:

"WILL YOU LOT KEEP IT DOWN UP THERE? I'M TRYIN' TO THINK HERE!!"

Satisfied that the message should have been received, Patsy then turned her attention to the very door the strangely polite man had previously attempted. Approaching it answered her first question: It wasn't going to slide or swing open just for her.

She tried knocking, as futile as it seemed, and she was soon proven right. No answer. Worth a try, though, she thought to herself.

Patsy turned away from the door, giving the rest of the room a quick glance around, before swinging back to the door, lifting her foot up to deal the door an FBI-style, if somewhat superpowered in comparison, boot where it mattered.

    Meanwhile, over at E1...

"Dammit," Wilf barked, looking up in the general direction of the new noises due North. "What the hell is going -on- over there?"

"Wilf!" Carly whined to her partner, who turned to find her looking up at the sky, her face white as a sheet and bearing the expression of a woman who had seen her own slow and painful death. "I don't know about you, but we could really do with an umbrella field right now and I haven't recovered enough power to keep one up longer than a second!"

Wilf looked up at the sky too, noticing the beginnings of the nightmare weather they were both about to face.

"Oh my." The mage muttered, running a hand over his corn rows as he watched the thunderstorms form. "Alright, I may have enough power left over from the gate. Draw it from me and it should help you keep a field up for long enough."

"Okay," Carly muttered, taking Wilf's hand while extending her free hand above her head, the initial signs of a weak force field forming above them. "I won't need as much as I used getting across those rocks, I think."

Patsy simply looked on as the strange man walked off, preferring to keep her trap shut where her name was concerned. As polite as the man seemed, she had not a single idea as to what his own motives were for being here.

Only when he had gained enough distance between them, did she consider stepping out of the lift, finding herself confronted by each of the four doors.

"Great," the immortal sighed. "Looks like I'm gonna need to flip a couple of coins."
  13. Below the plant (E4)...

Patsy staggered forward as soon as she felt the blast shake the whole plant, only managing to stop herself short of dropping into the lift by planting her forward foot down, denting the roof of the box just a little.

"What the flamin' hell now?" the immortal ranted, looking up to the shaft and the open doors.

She didn't dwell on the matter too long, though. As soon as she noticed that all fiery hell had broken look on the surface, she didn't think twice about dropping down into lift, but not before lowering the rockets and the grenade launcher down into Priest's arms to hold while she dropped down into the box with a light thud upon landing.

"Cheers, hun." Patsy thanked the man with a smirk as she collected her stuff from him. "You're a star."

He peered down, wondering what had happened to the lift. At the bottom he locked eyes with the woman he'd seen earlier brandishing rockets. He noticed the shaft was small in size, a fairly deep hole in the ground barely wide enough to hold four people. Slowly, he floated down to the woman.

"Nice fireworks" he complimented, landing on the lift and peeling off the emergency exit hatch. "What exactly do you plan on doing with it?"
Patsy cursed under her breath when she realised she had been spotted. Stealth wasn't her strongest of suits, after all.

"Well," Patsy sighed in response to Priest's question, folding her arms casually as she watched him work his magic on the hatch. "I'd say I'd cross that bridge when I come to it, but to be quite flamin' honest, I'm not sure where the bridges are right now or what they look like."

"Jack, isn't it?" he asked, looking around the room for hidden entrances, while his thoughts communicated with Damsel over the Nighthunter's amulet.
    E4...

Patsy 'took it canny' as she entered the building, glancing in all directions before she even thought about stepping through the door. Getting ambushed was the last thing she needed right now.

Finding that the place seemed to be dead as a dodo, though, she didn't hesitate to venture further inside, though that didn't stop her keeping her eyes peeled for any trouble.

"Flamin' Norah," the immortal muttered to herself, mentally noting the beating the place seemed to have received. "Someone's been havin' fun in here, haven't they?"

Eventually, she found something probably useful in the form of a set of sliding doors ahead of herself that led to a lift shaft beyond as she soon found out when she forced them open with her bare hands, though peering down it quickly gave her second thoughts. Would it have been worth the trouble climbing, or even dropping down there? Patsy didn't know, and she wasn't in the mood for finding out.

Unfortunately for her, she didn't exactly get a say in the matter. No sooner did she turn away from the shaft had the door swung open again, forcing Patsy to act fast by taking a step back and dropping down into the shaft.

Patsy waited, wondering who had been following her, peering over the lip of the shaft to see for herself without getting spotted. Hopefully.

Patsy hit the ground with an almighty thud, keeping a tight hold of her newly-acquired weapons to keep them from shaking too violently upon landing. The immortal immediately stood up straight from the crouched posture she adopted when her feet touched the soil and stared ahead toward the structure before her.

"Woah." Patsy uttered as she took her first couple of steps toward the Insidium plant ahead. "Someone needs to hire a few... hundred cleaners for this dump."

"I do hope that dump holds something useful, Miss Crusher." Wilf piped up, making Patsy jump just a little.

"What the?" the immortal reacted. "How'd you hear that?"

"Good question, actually." he answered. Perhaps the button's stuck?"

"Aye, probably, the amount of mud I've been flung into. Well, I suppose I should see what's behind door number one, right?"

"Perhaps. You're still following the soldiers, still?"

"Aye," Patsy answered as she glanced about. "I think I might have proper lost them, though. With any luck, mind, they've gone into the mess in front of me."

"Perhaps. I'll leave the decision up to you. I have more important matters to attend to."

Patsy looked at the building once more and gave it a little thought. She came this far already and if the soldiers did come here, they probably would be in there right now. She thought. Oh well.

Checking the grip she held on the explosives beforehand, Patsy then headed toward the plant, hoping to find an open door among the mess.

They’d left heavy weaponry behind, a couple of single use anti-aircraft rockets, and a snub barreled grenade launcher with a half dozen rounds. Why they had left the grenade launcher behind might have something to do with it being in a box labeled “Experimental Void Grenandes”.
    F5...

Patsy wasn't exactly taking her time diving into the APC - literally - as a couple of shots struck her in the hip and legs, sending her crashing into the vehicle with a thud and maybe a little clatter. After a minute or two, though, she eventually poked her head out again.

They were gone. Good. The immortal then slinked back into the APC and pressed the button on her earpiece, which had somehow survived the chaos between the jubgle and where she was now.

    "Wilf?"

"Now really isn't a good time, Miss Crusher." Wilf answered.

"I think I have a... did you just drop one?" Patsy asked as soon as she heard a strange creaking sound from the mage's end.

Meanwhile, over at E1... wait, what!?

"The only thing I've dropped, Patsy," Wilf barked irritably, not taking -too- kindly to the accusations of flatulence "Was the speedboat into a cliff face."

"You mean you tried to bugger off without me..." Patsy sighed.

Wilf pinched the bridge of his nose and too a moment to look out to the side of the boat. The vessel's bow was lodged firmly into the rock, perhaps merged into the cliff face proper. The cockpit and the stern, though, hung high above the sea below. There were only two options to leave the boat for either Carly or Wilf. Climb up the cliff face onto the island - something inadvisable while Carly was still curled up into a gibbering wreck of a ball in the back passenger seat - or down, which was just asking for certain death.

"In case you failed to notice, the jungle just became a towering inferno, and the smoke was being thrown south, so we couldn't have stayed in the lagoon."

    ****
    F5...

Patsy poked her head out of the APC to look at the jungle westward. Towering inferno.

"Alright," Patsy groaned. "I'll let yous off this time. Have you got a backup plan? Or even a backup backup?"

"The Group generally make it a rule never to just leave their own to die, Miss Crusher. We're due for a rescue pickup in about eight hours if we don't re-establish contact with Rhode Island by then. I think what's left of the boat may be in a stable enough position for now."

"Right, Ran into a few goons headed North, so I'm gonna chase after them, see where that gets me."

    "Good luck, Miss Crusher."

Patsy released her finger from the earpiece and slumped back into the APC, trying once more to blow that strand of hair out of her face and she fall back. Still no luck.

"Alright, Patsy..." The immortal muttered to herself. "You're achin' like mad all over and covered in mud - pretty much in dire flamin' need of a hot bath either way - but you've got a flippin' job to do and you aren't gonna get it done sittin' here whinin' to yourself, now hop to it you lazy cow!"

    ...

She didn't budge. Patsy sighed. "I'm gettin' too old for this."

Feeling a little apathetic, Patsy ran her hand around the APC's floor only to feel sometime roll onto her hand. Looking revealed it to be...

    "Awwwww FLIP!"

...an AA Rocket, to which Patsy quickly felt relieved when she realised it wasn't going to go kaboom into her face. The immortal looked at it for a moment and pondered as she examined the thing.

"Any more of you guys about, like?" she smirked before rolling the weapon out into the dirt outside the vehicle while she rummaged about, finding and rolling another rocket out in the process. Then she saw the box.

"Experimental, huh?" Patsy muttered as she read the container's label, that alone forcing a sadistic grin on her face as she flung the lid open. "Experimental or not, hun, you're comin' with me"

The immortal slung the launcher within over her shoulder and checked the truck for anything else of use. Nope, nothing. With that, she hopped out the back, picked up her new-found rockets and carried them under her arms as she headed North-West. As soon as she reached the road, though, she stopped herself and looked at her new toys. She gave each one just a little shake, not enough to accidentally set them off, but enough to sloppily emulate the impacts they might endure if she were to start jumping about, as long as she kept a tight hold of them and didn't let them to just swing all over the place.

She'd be fine, she figured, and made the first jump toward the plant without even realising she had managed to avoid a claymore in doing so. She just wanted to catch up with those soldiers.

    F5...

Patsy complied, only so much as blowing a strand of loose hair away from her face while she kept herself perfectly motionless. Unfortunately, the strand didn't budge, since a tiny bit of dried mud on her cheek kept it pinned down. She sighed and quietly repeated the soldier's last threat in a high-pitched mocking tone to herself.

"Aw, haway, man!", Patsy shouted over before glancing down at her midriff, which had become partially exposed after the lower third of her tank top was shredded to pieces in the botched car-surf. "You're proper turnin' -this- down? Seriously?"

The immortal glanced behind her, at the busted APC. Possibly the only shelter she could run to if they opened fire. It was close enough to dash into and while she would almost certainly take a few hits, it wouldn't be enough to knock her out. Well, barely.

So she ran for it, with only "Sod yous, then!" as a parting shot. And she hoped to find something highly explosive or otherwise useful inside.

They train their guns on Patsy.

Patsy slapped an open palm against her forehead as soon as she found herself facing the business end of several assault rifles. So much for the sneaky approach, the immortal thought to herself.

At first, she simply frowned at the soldiers, particularly the idiot that called her Baba Yaga. That wasn't hard pick up amid all the foreign rambling and ranting. From where she was crouching, she could see that attacking them head-on wouldn't have been the smartest of things to do - She'd taken enough of a beating already, so getting pounded by hundreds of AK rounds was only going to knock her down and out, at least for several hours.

She couldn't afford that delay, so she decided to take the careful approach by standing up slowly, with her hands held above her head like a good girl.

"Yeah," She said, carefully approaching what may or may not have been the leader while maintaining her non-threatening stance, "Uh, I'm just wonderin' where the nearest workin' shower is."

A slight smirk formed on her muddied face.
