"Incoming!" Molly yelled as she swung her rifle into the direction of the new drones, a short whine sounding from her rifle before a single grenade popped its barrel.
-
Richie approached the crack, grumbling to himself as he peered into the Fortress. Inside was nothing that could be considered to shout about. All that could be seen was another wall, forming part of an empty corridor.
"Alright," Richie muttered to Shadowcrash as he kept an eye out for anything new within the corridor. "Which way's Isabella then?"
"Last I checked she was probably being held in the..." Selina paused for a moment before finally shrugging. "Hey, you know what? Just step in and go right, okay? Since I never thought to use a compass or anything."
Richie rolled his eyes as he cautiously stepped through the crack. "I get the feeling a compass isn't gonna do much good anyway." -
With a silent command, Molly's stealth suit activated, rendering her invisible to the naked eye as she charged for a wall opposite Infinitron. Right before she noticed one of the drones coming right at her.
"Oops!" Molly yelped as she pushed herself from the wall again, swiveling round to fire off a short burst at the offending drone, following up with a single slug round. -
Tzadi's sudden appearance had immediately sent Richie falling onto his rear, causing him to drop his swords in the process,
"Watch it, man!" Richie snarled as Shadowcrash dashed past the hopeless man, rolling her eyes. The ghost then continued her charge toward the rear of the fortress, eventually stopping at a large crack in the wall, just as she had described, and pressing her back against the wall around it.
"Great," she muttered with a slight smirk upon peering into the crack, "Don't think she even has a clue yet." -

Yep. When I think of street fighting, I always think of this!
[/ QUOTE ]
if it's that, i'll say a big NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
it's a hero game, not a sissy fighting movie....
[/ QUOTE ]
Because every hero is some OMGWTFBBQ superpowered, fireball-spewing, vocal-chord-abusing Captain Awesomesauce, yes?
...Nope. -

Molly being 19, she'd be able to vote
[/ QUOTE ]
And I just rememebered something. Molly's actually South African, but was adopted and brought up in the US since before she was even 1. So, chances are, she couldn't. :| -
"Right, let's move it!" Richie announced, charging over to what was left of the front door and swinging it open. He then rushed onward toward the fortress, darting past Tzadi quietly. When he finally stopped, he quickly gestured over to the rest of them to hurry over.
Shadowcrash followed first, quickly dashing over as quietly as possible. Hardly a difficult task. -
Molly rushed in, landing with something of a lengthy skid over to Infinitron's position. Just before she stopped, the young genius, hopped to her feet, raising her own rifle in front of her within the last few steps.
"Something tells me you might need my help, so!" Molly piped up as the pink rifle let out a quiet whine. -
I have members who -can't- get online for various reasons, plus several of my own characters in the same SG, which might I add, is in need of a monster rejig.
Communication, frankly isn't going to work, and never will. -

Ki, Chi, or anything as such has no relation, whatsoever, to street fighting. They also aren't generic enough. And what is wrong with a Roundhouse kick in a street fighting set? It's Street Fighting.
[/ QUOTE ]
Agreed on the Ki thing. This is more Fight Club than Dragonball, sorudo, and IMO, it should remain that way.
As for Roundhouse kick, it's description makes it sound more like a helicopter/windmill kick or something, closer to someone doing Capoeira rather than your basic street fighter or something. >_>
For the sake of keeping a PBAoE attack in, I'd personally suggest a Leg Sweep-style attack instead. Of course, my opinion. -
Molly being 19, she'd be able to vote and would likely vote for Obama, as would Crash Leadfoot, however unlike Molly, she'd more likely just tick a random box and be done with it.
777 and Irene wouldn't bother, being of the opinion that their votes are going to mean diddly squat at the end of the day, and Shadowcrash, despite being born and raised in America, kinda has the little obstacle that is, well, being dead. -
Molly continued her flight alongside Sean's flyer, listening in on the whole convo.
I hope he knows what he's doing... she thought to herself as she readied her rifle. Something was telling her this could get a bit nasty. That, or something she'd eaten just wasn't quite agreeing with her today. -
((Sorry Bolt, need to continue! >_<
)
"Aw screw it!" Richie barked as he swung his hand out of the portal, walking away as it fizzled out like a failing TV, The hopeless git then made his way over to across the living area to his own bedroom. "With any luck they're still in there, right?"
"So long as you definitely left them there." Shadowcrash answered, her sight still fixed on the obsidian fortress. For a moment, all that could be heard was the sound of someone tripping over everything, blurting out enough blue language to make Bernard Manning turn in his own grave. Eventually, Richie emerged from the room carrying two swords in his left hand, thankfully by their hilts: A rapier and a gold-coloured ninja blade. Gold and Silver.
"Haven't had these buggers out in months." Richie muttered to himself as tossed the rapier into his other hand and swung it about carefully. "Gonna take a bit of getting used to." -
There's two building missions, followed by *makes throttling gestures at the devs* hunt mission before finishing off with one of those outdoor missions (Graveyard map >_>
.
The two building missions shouldn't take long, and if need be, I can hold off from that point - I was gonna do the hunt mission solo under an IC excuse anyway - and do the graveyard mish tomorrow. :| -

PBAoE DoT ST, ring any bell?
[/ QUOTE ]
PBAoE = Point Blank Area of Effect. Basically, PBAoE powers affect a small area originating from the casting player himself.
DoT = Damage over Time. Instead of a power's entire damage being dealt in one go, it's notched off a bit at a time over a set period.
No idea on ST though, TBH. *pokes Beet* -
((If you had your head bitten off for handling of a GG situation that you didn't appreciate being dragged into by way of /tells left right and centre in a manner someone who wasn't even paying attention in the first place strongly disagreed with AND had a plot largely ignored by everyone before you ended up having to cram in some stupid and frankly unnecessary 'hook' just to get people to take the hell notice - oh, and had a character completely blanked even though he'd just fallen out of the sky and was ranting his head off like a complete trooper shortly after, ALL in the space of a few months, I think you'd understand, thankyooverymuch.
On a lighter note, I doubt a 2 level difference isn't really gonna make too much difference, Z. If you can make it that's great.))

Monday 3rd November 2008 Across the city, PPD radios in every zone burst into life with the following broadcast:
ATTENTION HEROES OF PARAGON CITY. This is Irene Trenz of Longstaff WarTech's RAPIER Division requesting the assistance of this city's... 'heroes'... in matters concerning a strange artifact of magical origin. Anyone willing to offer such assistance can meet my squad on the hill in New Troy on Talos Island, at approximately 1930 hours.
((Right, so this will be a team ingame and ICly charging through a chunk of a mission arc, which has been fudged slightly. If you haven't got a clue how to understand military/24hr time, 1930 is just 7:30pm, which will when I'll be putting the team together. Said broadcast ideally should have been heard by any hero with a PPD radio. But then again it's completely up to you whether yours is off, rotting in a drawer somewhere or just generally stuck up your chars' backsides. Sideways.))
((EDIT: Oh yeah. And it's about L20-21 missions.)) -
(( Sorry, been trying to get in touch with Bolt since his account ran out! x_X ))
Richie kept his hand in the portal, awaiting Boneblade impatiently.
"I think we're pretty much set on the Solid Snake approach." He answered, squinting at Tzadi in the distance. "Considerin' the distraction's all ready and waiting..." Richie then turned to look at the portal, screaming at it, "OI, BONEHEAD! GET A MOVE ON ALREADY!"
Shadowcrash merely winced...
"He won't be able to hear you, idiot." -
But... that's possible right now.
Methinks you may have misread the suggestion. :\ -
To check, go into C:\Program Files\City of Heroes and look for for a file called "CohUpdater.EU".
If it's not there look for one just called "CohUpdater" and rename it to add ".EU" on the end. Then just create a shortcut to it and run that. -
I don't know if this has actually been suggested before or how often, but frankly, as long as the forum's search system continues to fail me, I don't really care, so without further ado...
Allow Leaders at the very least to promote/demote characters while they're offline. Frankly the reasoning behind preventing it in the first place escapes me (bar someone saying ingame it was to prevent hostile takeovers) and I'm amazed anyone can even work with said restrictions, to be honest. :|
Also: Allow Leaders to 'stand down' from their position into a lower rank. Long story behind that one. -

Apologies if this is the gazillionth time this has come up...

Unfortunately, I think we had the gazillionth one last month. :\
Although I'd be one of the peeps in favour of them. *runs* -
Just done this one for A_Random_Thing:
The Valkyrie Project -
"Yep." Shadowcrash answered. "And it's every bit as creepy as it looks. I can't guarantee that this is gonna be an easy ride either." Selina then turned to Richie briefly. "You might wanna see if you can find your old swords, Richie."
"Aye," The hopeless Durham lad answered, still holding his hand in the portal. "Kinda goes without saying, you reckon?"
