  1. Molly nodded once more with a slight smile as she turned to make her way to the lift.

    "Well, then... shall we?"
  2. "Hey hey hey," the ghost laughed as she followed Hellskeeper to the apartment, Isabella trying to keep up as fast as her tiny legs could manage. "I -don't- dance anyhoo!"
  3. Molly nodded as she looked the screen over, lowering her rifle carefully before clipping it to her back again. "Well, if can, go right ahead, but if not..."

    (( isn't Aeon the name+company of the Arachnos Mad Scientist™? ))

    [/ QUOTE ]

((One: Several companies in the real world share simliar names, for example there are two game developers called Climax, one based in the UK, another in Japan. Both of them completly unconnected other than being games developers.

Secondly: Last I heard, you can't 'own' a dictionary word, which 'aeon' happens to be. ))

Gemma raised a brow at the poster from her slouched position on her favourite swivel chair, sipping away at a piping hot capuccino in silence. The only thing breaking the silence within the newly-expanded studio being the constant whirring and clicking of four floppy disk drives writing and rewriting data for the past quarter-hour.

I'm proper gonna stick out like a sore thumb her, aren't I?, she thought before quietly smirking to herself, Ah well... not the first time, is it?

Almost immediately the sudden banging and clattering of several plastic objects could be heard from the studio's reception area, followed by a near-hyperactive string of - at Gemma's best guess - Japanese blue language. Gemma chuckled to herself as she took another sip.

    "Morning, Ritsuko..."
  5. "Woah, haway, man!" Max yelled as she threw the bear away in a highly reactionary manner. Unfortunately, the bear managed to maintain a grip on her left bracer and began an attempt to pull itself back to her. Max acted accordingly, sliding the bracer from her hand quickly while at the same time calling forth a dark cloud around herself. "I think this just beat gettin' my powers as the most 'what the hell?' moment of my life, you reckon?"

"If teddy wants to flamin' well play..." Max smirked as she threw the bracer away as quickly as she could before the bear could react and took a few steps back, adopting her fighting stance shortly after. "...then let's flamin' well play!"
  6. 'Twas a toss-up between suggesting new char Hellhog (Yorkshire biker and Magic Fire/Fire Blaster) or my first 50, the Crazy Dragon (Former street fighter and DB/DA Magic Scrapper).

Unfortunately, I lacked a coin in my immediate vicinity, so I'll let you choose.
    Pweeeeeaaaaase?
  7. "They got anything for a ghost?" Selina giggled as she crept through the crack in the wall back to the outside of the fortress. Isabella herself followed suit, scrambling as best she could to get through the crack, eventually tumbling out the other side rather unceremoniously.

    "...Ouch..."
  8. "How does a beer sound?" Shadowcrash smiled slightly as she approached the crack. "We get back to our world and pop over to Pocket D?"
  9. So basically, peeps have grown up learning to associate melee weapons and ranged weapons that don't go BANG! with King Arthur and Lord of the Rings, et al, right? At its most basic of explanations, of course.

    Base NAMES

It'd be a nice touch, but at the same time, mainly redundant.
I mean, who's gonna see it outside the SG, barring the odd member's friend or guest?

If SG's could have more than one base, I -could- understand, but otherwise, no point to it. :\
  11. Molly peeked around the doorway, sweeping her rifle over corridor ahead.

"Alright," The Pink One whispered. "Lets move, but be careful, okay?"

Molly then rushed ahead quietly, keeping her rifle raised and ready for any signs of trouble until she could reach the screen.
  12. "Aye, I'll be fine." Richie replied as he approached the woman once more, tossing his swords to one side.

Shadowcrash watched him stroll past for a moment before making her way to the exit herself.

"I think he knows what he's doing," the ghost added as she stepped past Hellskeeper. "C'mon, let's head back."

    Heroes Lightning

That's not Power Customisation. He's suggesting NCNC's art-monkeys change the colour themselves, not give the player the option.

Although that still doesn't change the likelihood of this suggestion happening, of course.
  14. Peeps have been on about it in the more recent posts in this thread (clicky).

    Auras

    [ QUOTE ]
Hit L30 and run a mish to unlock them.

If he's got the message, that probably means he's already done that mission.

    [ QUOTE ]
If you've done that they will be at the bottom of the character design.

    [/ QUOTE ]

The same applies to the auras from the Cyborg Pack, but they'll be available regardless of level, and without the need to do a mish, just so you know. Or at least, they should be now.
  16. The woman was just barely managing to dodge Hellskeeper's attacks, fully aware of her weakened state. However, she didn't quite catch sight of Tzadi's Falchion, which run right through her with minimal resistance. The woman looked down at the sword's hilt, more shocked at the sight of the blade disappearing into her chest... right before Buck's blow slammed into her, tearing her from the blade and down onto the floor in a spectacular tumble.

Richie himself had only just gotten back onto his feet by the time she was down, and found himself along with Isabella and Shadowcrash staring at the fallen woman.

"What have I..." Isabella asked, ready to burst into tears.

It was at that moment that the woman began to move again, albeit very slowly, as if just barely clinging on to conciousness. Richie acted immediately, picking up his rapier and storming over to her. Just as she was able to lift her head, Richie brought the blade close to her neck.

"Richie, wait!" Shadowcrash barked as she and Isabella rushed over. The woman looked at the Durham lad before looking down again.

"I have failed..." the woman muttered as she looked down at the small puddles of obsidian blood forming around her. "...as both a guardian and as a mother. You have won... just... hurry up and kill me already."

Richie glared at the woman for a moment, before lowering his sword.

"Nah." he then piped up as he turned away to pick up his ninja blade. "I'm not gonna do that."

    "But..."

"But nowt." Richie stopped for a second to face her again. "If you want, you can help me get my apartment back to where it used to be, but if not, no big deal. -WE- are headin' home, I'm taking all of my stuff back, and we bringing Isabella with us. She can do as she pleases with her life when she gets there, and you know what? You'd better not pull off the same stunt again to get her back, alright?" Richie then turned away heading back to the crack in the wall. "Let's get the hell out of..."

"WAIT!!" The woman yelled, still struggling to close up the wounds inflicted upon her. "I... I have nothing else to live for without Isabella to take care of! What am I to do?"

Richie stopped himself once more, pinching the bridge of his nose. And then sighed.

"Uh, you lot can head back to the apartment if you want," Richie said, turning and making his way back to the guardian. "I'll catch up with you and open a way back in a bit."
  17. ((Soz, couldn't post much on Thursday, and had a few too many whiskey shots on Friday.))

    Molly's Group

Coms bot nodded quickly before stepping out of the way.
"Very well Miss Molly." It said.

    [/ QUOTE ]

Molly smiled as she slid the pad on her right glove back up her arm, revealing a small metallic disc, looking not unlike a UFO in most respects. Albeit pink like her other equipment. The teen genius then unclipped the device and carefully planted it onto the keypad.

"Just give this baby chance to work its magic..." Molly uttered as what could have sounded like a dagger being unsheathed very quickly came from the device. Molly's eyes flickered all kinds of colours as the device poked and prodded every circuit, every chip, every possible connection to sources outside the panel itself with its nanomachines.
  18. Max sighed as she opened her eyes again, disappointed at being unable to pick anything up, before making her way over to Simon.

As soon as she got there, she looked down at Dre's corpse for a moment, before glancing up and at the rest of the bodies, then returning her sight back to Dre.

Then she heard the comment on energy spikes herself.

"Toss me one too, willya, hun?" she yelled over, as she brandished her PDA once more and slid the cover from the inbuilt camera. Crouching down, Max proceeded to take a few photos of Dre, the camera app capturing images of his many parts, as well as the neck where his severed head should have been. As soon as she was done with that, she continued taking snaps of the scene from in front of Dre's position, taking in as much of the scene as possible.

Sliding the cover back over the camera, the mackem drew out her stylus and zoomed the images to 100%, squinting at ones of Dre's remains in the hope of finding anything foreign to the human body and at the ones of the scene, taking in the same 'cone of carnage' - as she'd decided to call it in her head - that Simon had found.
  19. Max scanned over the report, cringing at the comments on "Dre" in particular, as he exited the office.

"Flamin hell..." she muttered to herself.

Almost immediately after closing the door behind her, she stuffed the report under her arm and took a good look over the view of the store, before crossing her arms and closing her eyes.

As the mackem then began to rub her chin, as if in deep thought about something, she remained silent as she concentrated on trying to pick up any signs of magic usage that could possibly be connected with the current scene.
  20. Molly peered at the lock panel for a moment, then looked up at Coms.

"Uh, pulling out's gonna risk some undesirable effects, and this thing might have one of those measures where three wrong codes lock it completely... sure you don't want me to have a pop at cracking it?"
  21. "We need to take her dow-" Shadowcrash stopped herself as all of a sudden, the cloud dissipated, much to the blatant shock of the Guardian, who - as she slowly lowered her fist - blinked at Isabella, who appeared to be concentrating on something. Both Richie and Selina looked at the girl in surprise before finding their attention brought back to the woman as she started groaning quietly, falling to one knee for a moment before forcing herself back to both feet.

"Isabella..." The woman groaned, "What do you... think you are..."

"I'm ending this!" Isabella barked before glancing to the others. "Hurry! Strike now and this should be over! Please!"
  22. "I do not need this foolishness!" the woman yelled as she raised a hand, bringing forth a new cloud that deflected everyone's attacks, even the downward strike from Richie's swords. Richie himself subsequently felt the full force of Shadowcrash's sonic blast bounce off and into his face. Richie staggered backward, dropping his swords before falling back onto his backside.

"Come ON, man!" the fool snarled as struggled to pick himself up from the floor. "This is just getting proper stupid now!"

"Sorry!" Selina yelled as she tried another blast, equally proving as redundant as the last. "Oh crud."

Isabella remained where the two had left her, still disregarding Shadowcrash's request as she looked on at the forming cloud.

"And I do not need -your- foolishness, mother!" the girl then yelled as she began to slowly approach the gang.
  23. Depends on where you've been sticking them, I guess. My Psi blaster just got the Day Trader badge after leaving her in WW (by mistake) for a while, so the timers were deffo on before the issue went live. :S
  24. "Same here, hun." Max piped up as she slipped a stylus back into a small PDA she had quickly pulled out to scribble down her own notes before slotting the device back into her back pocket. "I might be able to catch something you missed for whatever reason, if you know what I mean..."
  25. Molly blinked momentarily, shortly before lowering her rifle carefully, just enough so that she could bring it back up quickly if anything turned nasty.

"The hell?" Molly asked as she then leaned forward to peek past the door. "And where's everyone else?"
