Quote:I must have imagined getting a couple of new characters to and beyond L10 the past week completely outside of even touching AE then.
ALL you people who wanted AE nerf, congrats,
you have Killed new players leveling, -
You mean like someone fighting crime in their civvies (much like most of my characters o.O)?
Do you have any idea what the character's meant to be like, personality- or history-wise? -
Quote:Well, the idea was, you use /bind or /macro to attach it to a key or a button on your powerbar respectively. Problem solved there. >.>I went and checked out the CC 3 CCbackflip for isntance, and that is a lot of typing... Still would like to have a way to set the change emote to a default...
Stormy
I have a couple of macros on one of my chars for switching between costumes via the lightning emote. Since each costume so far is a different entity, they're also set up to have the character shout his or her name in Local when they change. -
For costume changes, you have the /cce emote. See the link below:
http://paragonwiki.com/wiki/Costume_..._Change_Emotes
That said, I do have to agree on the fly poses, not that I know how much of a spherical-object-ache it would be to do. -
...so I decided to give myself a little exercise to give myself a little GIMP practice, the end result being a teeny tiny bit based on the loading screens thread in Suggestions, the idea being an updated loading screen.
Not exactly AHMAHGAWSH!-awesome or anything, but after three hours of taking high-res screenshots matching the angles of the shots in the original loading screen, trying to find the right fonts, realising GIMP refuses to italicise them unless there's a pre-existing italic version available and having no hope of finding an up-to-date version of the Paragon City map suitable for a 1920x1200 screen, I was kind of getting irritated, but I think the general idea's still a teeny bit visible. That, or I'm kidding myself. My inf's on the latter.
Still, might be nice to improve on it some more, eventually get it to worth-a-flip standard, so some suggestions would be appreciated. I've got the XCF handy still, so changes shouldn't be too much of a prob. -
Quote:Then why are you acting like it is? You don't want the comments, either keep on reporting them in the hopes that people will start getting get a bloody clue and/or hide them in your UserCP. There. Job done, nothing to emo over. Plus you've turned your bar off. Another job done. Let the rep-gamers play happy, let those using the system legitimately who couldn't give a flying flip what comments they get play happy.Rep doesn't tell you anything. I have seen posters (I'll not name names) who have bar after bar of green rep who rarely post anything except insults and who repeatedly troll threads. Their rep isn't indicative of ANYTHING.
Just because it's imperfect is not an excuse to dump it. -
A nail weeps for its severely-dented head.
Bill's right, the comments are only anonymous to us users, not the forum staff. Follow the comment's link to the rep'd post and report it, explaining the offending comment, and a mod can act on it. -
Regardless, him/her/it/spacemonkey and his/her/its/spacemonkey's friends are clearly a different kind of special. Ralph Wiggum special, judging by that spelling. You should have just slapped them on ignore first, to be honest.

I have more females than males on both accounts, plus one char that's actually two people, a bloke and the female heroine trapped inside him (Yay Science Pack). o.O
[EDIT] Yes, I'm a guy. -
Get well soon!
*salutes, only to poke himself in the eye in the process*
...Ow. -
There's always the possibilty that you've accidentally enabled StickyKeys in Windows. A small possibility, since after the Accessibilty keyboard options smack you in the face the first time, it's usually the best reminder to turn off their shortcuts right there and then, but it's still worth checking.

For the zone loading screens, they honestly need to be completely replaced and given a little consistency (And the Blueside ones need to do away with the WordArt >.>), along with:
Login screens? As they are, I'm not too fussed about who's logos are on it, really. On the whole they could do with a spit-shine too, and maybe a new "dual" one (Heroes AND Villains) too. But that's just me, I guess. >.> -
Quote:Because making ill-educated insults of their intelligence and abilities -really- gets results. /sarcasmSure, four years I suggest asymmetry costume.
Team Positron have need a scientist to understand that.
I'm all for the idea though, and considering we're now getting power customisation, there's a little extra hope for it. A little. -
Justice Gloves w/Plate, Mimee hairstyle, Work boots, Motorcycle boots... that's it. >.>

Quote:They're not "the same company" and they never were. Even basically.Wine. Back in the day Cedega was worth it, but Wine has caught up with Cedega. Always thought it was funny that Wine and Cedega are basically the same company. Cedega has a prettier interface and offers support.
WINE wasn't originally released under the LGPL, making the whoopsie of using the X11 license, which allowed someone (Transgaming) to take the code and apply it to their own proprietary project with the intention of making a profit from it without contributing anything back to the Wine project in return. Which resulted in WineX, and upset the Wine project something awful.
The Wine project adopted the LGPL in reaction, which had put paid to Transgaming's use of WINE code in Cedega. For several years.
Quote:HAven't used either in awhile, hope they fixed the Costume Change error.
There is a workaround, though, but it requires tweaking a single line in the source code and recompiling. *facepalm* -
Hrm... could have sworn those checkboxes weren't grey the other week...
Uh, WTB stronger glasses. -
Normal members can remove tags too, you know...
Just pointing that out. >.> -
Patsy pondered for a moment, still pinning her greenskin captive to the ground. Killing all heroes? Not good, that was for sure. Nevertheless, she did say she'd let that detective know, but there was one little snag...
The immortal checked her belt and her pockets for her phone, only to be reminded that she used it as a projectile a few minutes back by a few of its fragments on the road.
"Bugger." she muttered. Right before grabbing the troll by his collar and hauling him to his feet, grinning as sadistically as she smirked earlier. "Alright, hun. Free flight to the PPD station for you! And no soilin' yourself on the way."
With that, Patsy Super-Jumped away to the nearest station, carrying a now screaming troll with her. -
Spambots are out in force again. Suggest deploying the rocket propelled chainsaw, zombie care bear and velociraptor batallions* to maim, mutilate and destroy them. Or just give them their marching orders.
* = all of which may or may not exist. -
Patsy smirked at the pitiful troll's pleading, before hauling him back up to the Skyway. This time she let gravity bring him back down after swinging him around herself horizontally. Before the troll had any chance of getting to his feet - not that she had expected him to try - the immortal pressed her shoe against his chest, pinning him to the ground.
"Alright, you walking snot, start talkin'... Atta wants to change the world, right? Give me owt but the top answer and you'll be danglin' again, remember that." -
Tried it and ultimately wanted to punch myself in the face before the first mission was done. Marcus Cole refused to follow properly unless your character was borderline hugging him (in other words, anything greater than 1cm apart and he wouldn't budge)... that's not good. :\
Ambitious arc, though. -
Quote:...Lastly, we have a video of the dual pistol set from Going Rogue! It's pretty freaking sick!
All units, requesting tanks packing rocket-propelled chainsaws, over. -
Quote:Patsy rolled her eyes again."Me not answer!" screamed the juiced-up troll, his breath contaminated with a burning gaseous stench. "Me not fear hero!"
"Trust me, hun. When I'm done with you, you'll be wettin' yourself at the first sign of spandex if I don't hear what I want to hear, you hear?"
With that, the immortal swung the troll over her head with minimal effort, bringing his face crashing down onto the skyway's concrete, creating a troll-shaped crater beneath him.
"If you prefer I repeatedly smack some sense into that thick skull of yours beforehand, like, I'd be more than happy to."
The troll found himself airborne again, and once more dangling over that nasty drop, bearing witness to a somewhat sadistic smirk on Patsy's face.
"Take your pick." -

He's got it right in that sense, but to say you have to leave the game to get the badges is frankly the most facepalm-worthy thing I've ever read on this forum this month, if not this year. Play another character. You're not being penalised for doing so. That's not sugarcoating. That's common sense, something that seems so rare in this day and age, it's a flamin' superpower in itself.
