I would suggest that you run some of your PvP ideas in the PvP Questions, Guides & Builds section. I don't know if the new issue will change much, but the experts there have run every possible combo and can give you the solid advice on powersets/build. You may already know this...go there with thick skin.

Soloing and/or teaming, Sonic/ works well also due to the -res and foe sleep in Siren's Song.

Try this one on for size:

I was hoping that since Blind has a chance to affect multiple targets, that the Placate would carry over as well but IDK. Also I remember my active stormies being endurance heavy and figured every bit would help. I work overseas and don't get to play for extended periods of time so have a decent amount of money and purples from farming/market days laying around. Most of my toons are lv50 and built "unecessarily" since I don't know what else to do with the stuff other than make more money that I'm not really gonna use. Thanks for looking at the build ND.

I looked at your guide LM (good stuff) and couple of others; this is what I am looking at for TFs and other high level content with teams and solo:

Mac is one of the handful of helpful ppl on here that don't go the sarcastic or forum PvP route while giving solid advice.

Once you have your PB built up and ready, holla at me and we can try a Human vs Tri duel. Even though my build is a like 4 issues old, b4 I went overseas a few months ago...I dueled a couple of Human form PBs who promised me that they could not be beat by a Tri and it was fun to say the least.

PB Human builds are harder to kill if they get the basic PvP travel powers such as Super Speed/Super Jump and with all the damn self heals makes them a pain in the *** to kill.

I am rolling a PB to play on the villain side once GR comes out. I know they cannot start in the Yellow side, but I can change sides at a low level.
It may be the Tris that you are killing so easily were not built very well or are just beginning and have not figured out their binds yet. If you can solo kill a Tri-form PB with your Tank or even a Stalker, they are definitely doing it wrong like Mac says. If a Tri works on recharge, Essence Boost can be close to perma'd which takes you in Squid form upto 1900 HPs (more if you build it better than I did mine). Low on HPs while fighting? Bind switch to Dwarf or Human in the air, heal, bind switch back to Squid and keep on pew pewing. Well built Doms with solid holds should worry solo Tris more than nades.

I think Human form is a viable way to go for people not concerned with min/maxing, kind of like a Blapper with shields. That said, you can't hate on Nova with 170ft blasts, Build Up that carries over to Nova for additional dmg and a phase that is up every 25 seconds along with Superspeed for escapes. That is a PB that is hard to kill by a group and is getting kills in the process. Also, that's solo, without a team to add to your stats using Cosmic Balance.

Based on the concept of maximizing your range, Novas should be able to get many opponents to half health before they can close the gap and start attacking. Fly around in Human form with Tactics, Invisibility and Stealth IO until you spot someone. BU, switch to Nova and squishies are usually dead in a few hits. Back to Human form, rinse and repeat...it works pretty well. I haven't tried a Human for PvP, but it seems that there would be a lot of shield retoggling to do when going Dwarf for the heal and then back to Human...maybe not that big of a deal, IDK.

One of the things PvP 2.0 is lacking is variety and I like the concept of Human PBs also, but it's definitely not the only or even best way to go depending on your playstyle. I'm looking forward to having an "evil" PB for GR as well...see you there

My second PB build focuses on Nova with 1738 HPs and it's fun but it's really clicky with all the form shifting (not so much with a human form + dwarf heal.)
That's whats so great about PBs, many different ways to build and play. Other than dealing with someone that built a Bane with the sole purpose of lobbing Webnades in zone their entire time, my Nova used to fire off at 170ft and do pretty good from the sky without many issues. Nades meant I would hit SS and evade or SS + built in phase until safe. With Quantum Fly up every 25secs and some good binds, occassional nades weren't that much of a big deal really.

Its good to see more than one way to play an AT.

benefits of the triform: when slotted right, nova will have 196 ft range attacks that recharge by the time the attack animation is over. You can have 3 heals bc of dwarf heal along with 2 human heals. Transforming into Dwarf can get you out of mez and holds. Dwarf has teleport that can be nice. 20. Also, unless things have changed in the few months that I have been gone...you don't have to build for KB for /WP stalkers. It's an all around real sturdy set that can be cheap to build compared to /Regen.

I honestly hate to see anyone ganged up on with forum PvP, but I wanted to say that you CAN make any build, max out the IOs and PvP with it...but that does not mean you are going to do very well. I can think of a bunch of builds that are going to suck in fiteclubbing/zone/arena regardless of how much money you spend on maxing out IOs.

There are reasons why Psi/EM & Elec/WP definitely do not suck and are actually considered top tier powersets for PvPing.

Was thinking about running this build when I'm able to play again and have been dabbling with it on Mids. When I originally rolled it up awhile back, I thought stacking -recharge maybe a viable tactic but I don't think I have seen anyone discuss it. Anyone have insight on this combination? Thanks in advance.
