I have seen them often during my PB & WS switch from hero to vill side mishs. Can't give you specifics where exactly I found them b/c I thought about them as much as a Mook Gunner. -

Going Rogue's side switching kind of messes up the nomenclature of the game's archetypes and powersets. We will now have heroic stalkers and heroic corrupters. Also, I believe the original reason for not giving empathy to currupters and instead making pain domination was because empathy was seen as "too heroic". In all seriousness, I don't see how it'd be hard to justify even Demons or Necromancy. Not any more than the many Dark-themed power sets. Sure, the average citizen of Paragon may tremble in fear when a couple of zombies pull a Hellion off her and puke all over the thug...but that doesn't make the necromancer evil. Sure, they're reanimating corpses...but that's just a taboo in our (by which I mean Western) culture. But if nobody's soul is getting tormented (and the necromancer isn't tossing leftover corpses into the drinking water), I don't think it would be a big deal.
Not to say people wouldn't get creeped the heck out by a heroic Necromancer...not much good publicity would come of it, admittedly. But it wouldn't really be any more evil than the myriad vampires, demons, and other such beings that are considered traditionally evil but have been serving as heroes. -

The strange thing is that after hitting 27 and adding a handful of damage slots to the single-target powers, everything just seems to work. Certainly, it's not the runaway bus full of freight trains that's a SS/SD Brute, but now I can actually fight bosses without using a Shivan. Energy/Thermal is still incredibly boring, though.
Seriously though, if nrg/therm isn't your style, what do you have to lose by trying out a cpl of other powersets to figure out what you really like playing? I have a million abandoned toons that I ran into the 20s-30s to see if I would enjoy before I settled on something else.

A while back I made a thread about a PvP NW. It's just about done, but in that time I also leveled an AR/EM blaster. After PvP'ing a little with it, I kind of liked the idea. I understand that AR is one of, if not, the worst PvP blaster powerset but I still want it. I kind of like the BU/BR/Sniper Rifle combo on stalkers who are running away....
PM some of the solid personnel on the PvP forums with help for your builds if you get tired of people posting 0/10 jpegs and the ones that don't get a chance to watch The Boondocks or Monty Python enough and think said jpegs are the funniest ever. -

Also get used to asking for help or opinions and 50 to 75% of the responses telling you that PvP is dead, effd up, retarded etc. Expect to see that sentiment over and over even though it has been that way for a long time and basically most of the posts in this forum say the same thing.

All good man, b/c all I do casual PvP stuff in zone or arena with friends/SG peeps etc. I'm usually overseas more than not and don't have time for competetive play....not so worried about getting "wrekt".
You're right on the money I suppose. I should have reworded the question to ask if people that still played for fun had any interesting power combos/toons to PvP with looking at the new issue.

Hey, why not? All the fun has been taken away from my defender since I'm not going to do that mission again and I don't feel remotely interested in playing the character without getting my aura.
Honestly, I don't care how good the new cape mission is... I would rather they just left the old one in place instead of screwing up the way the two missions are acquired with the new one. -
With the new powersets, APPs/PPPs etc, what have you guys found for new toons to PvP with if anything?

Been gone for awhile and have some builds hanging around that I would like to get some insight into whether they are any good for PvP 2.0 and if so, whether they would be better for RV or Arena play. I know the new issue is about to drop and just wanted some advice to figure out a couple of builds to focus on. Thanks in advance and thanks to Barrier and Mac for help with questions while I was still overseas.
