  1. My question - was Vicky really concerned about the kid she is raising or worried about the exposure and her superiors "terminating" her.

I just started watching the series the other day (recorded), seems like a decent show so far.

    3) Quality, not quantity. He likes being...up close and personal...

    4) All the guys want to be him and all the women just want him...not much of a fail there. Notice though how Molotov was in The Rusty's subconscious?

    5) Business in the front, party in the back. Aw ya...
I couldn't really think up any quality fail for Brock (even though being in love with Cocktease is right there). I think the whole mullet deal is a play on the biblical Sampson, but meh. Good stuff sir

Oh yeah, I can see why Cocktease was in The Rusty's subconcious...he chased her for at least 75% of the episode where she took over babysitting/bodyguarding duties while Brock was on another assignment.

I think Brock was actually assigned bodyguard duties by Sergeant Hatred when Hatred was still working as a double agent for the OSI...more of a punishment move since Brock and Gathers were tyring to get 1 up on 'The Guild'.

I can think of 5 things off the top of my head...

    1) Brock Sampson is from Minnesota * fail (just kidding)

    2) Brock Sampson is a fan of classic rock * fail (just kidding)

    3) Brock Sampson seems to prefer to kill with a knife, his bare hands and running others over with his Dodge Charger * semi-fail (it gets the job done, but how much higher would his kill count be if he actually shot the bad guys)

    4) Brock Sampson is the epitome of hyper masculine/hyper sexual and he's in love with a mercenary named "Cocktease" that wears a chastity belt * fail

    5) Brock Sampson wears a mullet * fail overkill

Im a big Brock fan, but I'm just saying

Take the 3D glasses out of the equation, it'd probably still beat RED. And really, I have no idea why.

It's like seeing a reality TV show being the #1 show. I just don't see the appeal.
While I'll be heading to watch Red this week as opposed to Jackass, it's not hard to see how the Johnny Knoxville crew would appeal to males between 14 to 35.
  6. - "Jackass 3D," the third installment in a feature series about a crew of thrill junkies, crushed forecasts by selling an estimated $50 million worth of tickets during its first three days of release across the United States and Canada, distributor Paramount Pictures said.

    - The actual result ranks as the best opening since the Leonardo DiCaprio thriller "Inception" kicked off with $63 million three months ago.

    - The previous two films also opened at No. 1: the first one to $23 million in October 2002, and the sequel to $29 million in September 2006. They finished with $64 million and $73 million, respectively. Paramount and MTV are units of Viacom Inc.

    - Opening at a distant No. 2 was "Red," a Bruce Willis action drama based on a DC Comic book. It earned $22.5 million, in line with expectations.

It's a nice thought, but I think if the characters got their stuff together, the show would lose a lot of its appeal.

Publick: "This show... If you'll permit me to get 'big picture', this show is actually all about failure. Even in the design, everything is supposed to be kinda the death of the space-age dream world. The death of the jet-age promises."

Hammer: "It's about the beauty of failure. It's about that failure happens to all of us...Every character is not only flawed, but sucks at what they do, and is beautiful at it and Jackson and I suck at what we do, and we try to be beautiful at it, and failure is how you get by...It shows that failure's funny, and it's beautiful and it's life, and it's okay, and it's all we can write because we are big...failures. (laughter)"

  9. Afternoon everyone...
I took my Stalker into zone for the 1st time in a long time and the build is pretty old. I wanted to know with Perc IO, Heightened Senses and Tactics can WPs see other stalks or is the stealth still too high even with all those combined? Thanks in advance.

Personally even if it were 2 cents for 2 billion inf I would never take either of those risks. Besides the game works fine, even well, with just SOs. I've only gone nuts on two builds (spent around 3 billion plus my own drops over about a year) and while both of those characters are better than they were with SOs and common IOs they aren't enough better to justify buying inf to me.

    As for

    and

I would recommend do just play. Don't bother with the markets unless it is something you want to do. I hate stopping to go to the markets to buy and sell and often don't upgrade my characters as I am playing until I feel like going shopping.

The only characters people ought to spend time shopping for are PvP characters or ones you plan to play at 50 and beyond. Otherwise it should only be done as an diversion/amusement.
    Agreed, agreed and agreed

I think its great you have that kind of a handle on the market, I actually dont enjoy spending much time flipping stuff...just me. Between work and family, I don't have as much time to farm/market as as I'd like and when I do have the chance to play, I just like to play. I can't imagine my situation is so different from most. All I'm saying if someone wants to pay $13.85 for a billion (thx Swellguy), not sure how thats stupid. As expensive as my two TF toons were, when I see multiple ppl with whole pages of PvP IO bonus' on multiple toons for PvP probably up in the hundreds of billions...it seems like a stretch to me that a lot of ppl dont just buy it.

I'm going to have to spend more time at the market to make those billions a week. Take care guys

Like Uber, I'm capable of buying several +3% def PvP IOs at the drop of a hat, and most of the PvPers (and almost all the PvEers) in my circle of friends are the same way.

I don't see anyone using RMTers except the stupid or lazy people, honestly.
Guess we have to agree to disagree then. I have a cpl of toons IOd up for TFs and PvP...but even with what you guys are saying (and it makes sense) I just dont see how there are ppl running like 3-6 toons in zone PvP with IO bonus' 8 pages long and not using RMT service.

I agree that PvPers are probably the most likely to have the right motives for RMT to make sense, but I'm not sure that many actually use them.

None of the PvPers I know are particularly hurting for money. Most of them are the most capable players I know of for wringing the absolute most reward for least play time from the game, be that via market use, farming, or outright exploits. A few of them could probably lap my net worth 10x over, and I could fork out for several PvP +3% defs this very moment if I really wanted them. When you also consider that most of the ones I know will strip down older characters for IOs to use on new ones, they don't usually need that much wealth, even if you consider that they might have to buy respecs. (But don't forget that vets get all their vet respecs on new characters.)

As for PvErs, I find that people who actually fork out the cash to make "uber builds" while not knowing how to or being willing to milk the game for the money that it pours from its virtual heavens tend, well, not to be the brightest bulbs in the chandelier. It's either that or they are just immensely impatient, and when one is that impatient in PvE in a game like this, I'm back to feeling they're dumb.
I spose you could be right. I have just seen a lot of ppl in PvP with 3-6 toons and when they all look like 20bill builds I assume they buy money. If a person doesn't want to spend a 3rd of their game time playing the markets or farming to get rich, then seems like RMT would be the way to go. I just don't see how buying money from RMTers is paying someone else to play the game for you when single purple IOs in a set are going for 800 katrillion. Seems like it just means a person doesn't want to run the same TF/SFs for the next year to save up.

I can see where some may consider paying $20 IRL for influence to help be able to afford IOs for their niche toons stupid, but some ppl think its dumb to pay $15 a month to play an MMO...when Ms Pacman is free.

If the RMT clientele are PvPers (probably at least half if not more), then spammers would be wasting time on any server besides Freedom and maybe Virtue. Thats another plus towards playing on small servers

Well I finally rolled one up not based on something I read of the forums, saw someone do something really awesome ingame, or been told to roll by others. I created this toon because it fits a character idea I love! I rolled up a Ninja Blade/Super Reflexes Khajiit Warrior. When I played through Morrowind, this was my favorite race to play. With inherent invisibility and its natural grace, it made the perfect concept for a stalker.

Now, what I want from you all. I have not been able to find much of anything written on the power combo. Have I gotten into a toon that will please my min/maxer side while deeply satisfying my desire to have a toon I connect with? What have you been able to do with this power combo?
If you want a more hands off secondary, then SR is probably the way to go with /Nin being a bag full of tricks to play with.

Nothing wrong with it at all, but I would think the usual ppl buying influence are the ones with uber builds on multiple toons (the ones that can run whole TFs/SFs by themselves) and PvPers. As long as there are 1 piece IOs that cost 5 billion, Im sure RMTers will continue to do well.

It is lovely not getting junkmail everyday but I have noticed increased gold spams at the markets in Cap and AP.

    Freedom Channels

Hey all...just getting back to the game after being gone for awhile. I haven't seen much happening on the 'Freedom TFs' channel. Do I need to "reset" it or something? Are there other channels ppl are using more? Thanks in advance.

    IO Question

Been away for awhile and forgot how certain IOs work as far as exempting down. Can someone point me in the right direction on how the stealth unique, BotZ kb, LotG 7.5 IOs and etc work when buying them for a lv50 toon that runs low level TFs? Thanks in advance.

Be interesting to see what at age 1000 or more you'd remember of the pre 100 years.
Unless I'm immortal and doubly gifted with a photographic memory as well, I can't imagine I would remember much at the 1,000 year mark of my life either. I could see myself being immortal and just sitting around on my couch watching TV...what a waste.
