Sometimes I get tired of PvE. Even ramping the difficulty slider up on a TF, with the right team composition...I know the outcome.
Dont get me wrong, this game is the best...once in awhile though, I just want the challenge of playing versus something less predictable.
And as everyone has said...you can ignore immature idiots in PvE and that same option exists in PvP. -
Quote:I cant see it.but someone told me that the devs did this on purpose so they can make more money, they would make you pay for the panther power so you can exploit pvp zones then later on when sales on it are low they will fix it.
I doubt that the low number of people that PvP buying this would have much impact on sales.
Seems like it would be more of an astronomical hit with our RP brothers/sisters. -
Quote:It happens, but thats a shame. My wife and I play sitting about 2 feet apart all the time.
We're a pretty fierce PvP combo when I can convince her to do it. Which is rare, the jacktards we used to have in the zones turned her off on the whole thing.
Especially when you can just put the idiots on ignore.
I think i still have some of the more malicious, loud-mothed players on ig status from years ago. -
As long as you have friends, you will never be poor...
unless theyre all poor too I suppose. -

I wish all my friends would quit and pass out their loot.
You can always make new friends -
Quote:If you look up the definition of the word heroic, you can easily attribute many of Wolverine's accomplishments and actions to the concept.Well Wolverine always seem to be more of An Anti Hero and I never saw him as a real Hero. Spider Man, Super Man and Bat Man, are indeed good Heroes, they show it a lot of the times, but Wolverine does not.
Wolverine will kill if he have too, it been done once before, not always Heroic at times also.
Also people who like Wolverine as an Hero, aren't true Super Hero Fans to begin with, a true fan looks up to the Heroic Aspect, the Hero who does things by the book and with in the Law.
Tough decisions have to be made sometimes and not everyone can be a Superman (which Im glad). -

Quote:There was a time when most super-heroes were goody two shoes.See Wolverine's popularity is due to his attitude and powers. (He does what people want to do but don't actually do) while people hate Cyclops (He does what has to be done which doesn't jive with Wolverine.)
I personally liked Cyclops all the way up to Uncanny X-Men #176, after that Claremont lost control of the character and Cyke has never been as good since.
Turns out a lot of people love the "bad" good guy/antihero type. -

If you do a search on blapper in 'search titles only' in the Blasters, Build Workshop and Player Questions categories, about 03 pages of posts pop up.

Im thinking if Love Song want to pay like $1500 a year on CoX accounts, he may be the one getting exploited.
Like someone said though, I can think of more costly addictions -
Quote:Not surprising at all. I spent a few years in Europe and at the end of it all, I decided that Europe was like America except way better. YMMV but this sums it up:Interesting. Maybe Grouchybeast is right and we are more trusted with "naughty" words in Europe. I've never seen closed captioning that censored words that weren't censored when spoken, in fact I have a vague recollection of seeing the opposite at least once.
- uptightness about nudity on beaches...nope
- uptightness about drinking alchohol at an early age...nope
- uptightness about recreational drug use...nope
- uptightness about "race"...nope
- etc etc
I think Im going to retire there somewhere. -

If I can run chicken based hero blaster to lv50 named 'CPT Bawk Bawk Bawk'...

Do it. -
Quote:Yeah, no crits, but the upside...youre an invisible dude that can throw fireballs.a bug??? they went through not to long ago and nerfed/normalised the sts and aoes for stalkers which resulted in Fireball losing it's auto critical from hide, your telling me stalkers aren't even supposed to have burst???
How awesome is that -
Quote:lol...thats a great sexist throwback as others have pointed out.In my observations it's usually a woman that gets so upset about something so trivial. (no offense but it's true
).
I love the interwebs.
To play along with your notion, you are obviously wrong and your own perspective does you in.
NO OFFENSE AND ALL, but how could a woman possibly be offended by trivial things such as this if theyre in the kitchen?
**couldnt help myself**
Back on point...as someone else said, common sense has always served me well when it comes to naming CoX toons. -
Good call 7; big fan of the show here as well.
Doing a tour overseas and decided to start it up with season one. Got hooked and waiting for Amazon to send the next couple of seasons now.
Reminds me of some of the same qualities I enjoyed in the Sopranos...family, great characters, criminal elements etc, except on motorcycles and that Easy Rider feel. -
Great job man.
If that was me, I could hear my grandmother saying, "I dont care if you did just save the world, you better lace those shoes up!"
